2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R / 0-60MPH Challenge / IT'S HOW FAST???
Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 лип 2024
- Pushing the ZX6R to it's absolutely limit to see how fast we can go 0-60 on this new model. Our bike has a slip-on exhaust, de-catted factory header, and Moore Mafia flash tune. None of these really help the 0-60mph time so I believe we would reach the same results on a stock bike would. We do a couple 0-100 pulls at the end and record those times as well. This motorcycle makes 122 HP from the factory and 51 ft lbs of torque. The 2025 6R is the exact same just with different colors. I can not confirm the top speed of our bike yet, so stay tuned for that. Comment with any questions. Enjoy!

Your content is amazing, no nonsense just useful first hand info. Keep it up!
Thanks man!
Beautiful bike, i may be getting one soon, but im not fully decided yet. You content is helping me with that decision. Also i cant tell you how many important things i have written down on a guest check book! Seeing it almost gave me ptsd. Haha server life
It’s a great bike, you’ll love it
I love your content 😀
Thanks yo! 👍
Awesome video.
Something like a Dragy would be good if you wanna do this more often or compare different bikes (to rule out things like delays in video, wrong speed on the dash, etc)
I know it, maybe one of those is in my near future
Agree, a Dragy is the way to go if you don't have a nearby track. I do plan to take mine to my nearby track to see what mine will do.
We definitely need a how to wheelie video for this bike! Keep it up man❤
Alright haha maybe coming soon!
Questions: Stock gearing, or have you dropped 1 in the front and added 2 in the rear? What about other mods to the bike?
Watch the video. Dont fast forward to the 10 seconds you want to see. He explains all the mods in the video.
Next videos, top end speed
Alright I'll see what I can do 😎
Yeah that seems to be what the people want. Guess I gotta risk it for the biscuit
I have the same bike, 153mph in 90° temperature and weigh about 185 lbs, on the stock tune with a slip on and air filter.
@Sw20boosted your slow bud I weigh 130-140 I'll smoke anybody😂
@@Ben24636 yea, on your knees.
Riding around I'm a lot like you and I've been curious myself but with those times I think there's only a handful of vehicles that could actually put the numbers down that's insane so Ig we should be racing planes instead😂
Haha for real!
Hey bro i just want to know if its ok if i keep the stock servo motor on on the zx10r in removing the stock exaust?
Yeah just remove the cables from it but leave the servo motor plugged in and it won't throw any codes 👍
Please do a suspension adjustment tutorial 👌
ong
Why dont you use the quick shifter? Good vid man, take delivery of mine today!!!
Thanks man, dang today is a happy day for u then! 👍
I strongly suggest you get a Ohlins damper. Bit pricey but I think it has saved my ass more than once on my ZX6R. Things can get real wild when both wheels go flying in the air.
Yeah I've thought about one, still haven't sat down to shop around yet. It would help because these bikes get a little twitchy in the steering at high speeds
I second getting an Ohlins steering damper, I have the Ohlins SD042 on mine. It is not cheap.
just ordered one from ebay ohlins kawaski for zx6 599$
Wondering why you didn’t go with a name brand exhaust?
Nice content. Did the ECU flash fix the Speedo? I know that the speedometer is off by about 3 to 5 mph from factory
i got a moore mafia tune and i use a app to track speed also its only ever been off by like 2 mph from speedo to rever
Would you recommend ceramic wheel bearings if I’m just a street rider? I heard it’s much smoother and adds hp
I've heard of somebody installing those, haven't ever tried them myself. I guess if you aren't content with the ride quality you could try them out. I'm curious if you'd be able to feel a difference. As far as making the bike faster, I guess in theory it should be less friction for the wheel to turn. But seems like the last thing I'd put on the list as far as performance upgrades. If you find a smokin deal on em, get em and report back!
I put Core Moto wheels, an aluminum rear sprocket and ceramic bearings on my 2024 ZX6R. I stayed with the same number of teeth on the sprocket. My bike is very noticeably different, it feels lighter and more responsive. I know that this doesn't directly answer your question, but reducing sprung weight is very noticeable.
redline pls my friend ,.. love it
The bikes tuning has it losing power around redline.
Yeah I'll run slower if I completely wrap it out to that new 15,800 redline. It does sound glorious though 😁
How many o2 sensors does this bike have 1 or 2???
In America 1
Yo man, help me decide I ride GSX 8S now, I looking for next step street triple 765rs/zx6r what you think?
The street triple is gna cost a lot more for parts and accessories, it puts down good hp and torque, but then we come to the looks. That street triple has to be one of the ugliest things I have ever seen... I'm sure it's super fun to ride, the sound of a triple is unique too, and European stuff isn't as common to see in the wild. But men, women, and kids, LOVE the zx6r. It looks like the Ferrari of motorcycles, it is so fun to rev it up and watch it go, reliability is superb, maintenance is easy and cheap, and you will have some wild women trying to take you home every time you get on it. It's an easy decision for me, TEAM GREEN man!
@@bikesandbangs I’m only worried about supersport position on it, but sure it looks awesome
@@aleksandrkorovin1524 if you're worried about the supersport riding position, the best thing I can suggest is taking one (preferably the one you're looking to get) for a test ride. These will never hurt in general. I had the exact same uncertainty about the supersport position as well, but after my test ride and a little over 3 months of ownership I can tell you that for me, the '24 ZX-6R is not problematic whatsoever. I hardly even notice being leaned forward a little more, but it all comes down to personal preference. So be sure to get yourself a good test ride because that's the only way you can be 100% sure.
@@yourepicbro1467 thank you, 💪
Part 2 Quick shifter runs
Alright, and if my runs without it are quicker, I will never let you hear the end of it lol
Awesome! Be careful with taking the bike to 15k+ RPMs. There is at least one person that bombed out his engine doing that after a tune.
That was in the back of my mind while doing this lol
The 2024 have improved intake valve springs so they are less likely to drop a valve. That said, these bikes even with short velocity stacks start to drop power before 15,000 RPM so no reason to push it that hard. 14,500 - 14,800 RPM is the sweet spot to shift.
Why not use quick shifter ???
Maybe next time, and we'll see if it's faster 👍
I think the Z900 can do ot in 2.7- 2.8sec
Can you do a top speed run!!
I got mine to 154mph before the bike limits itself. I weigh 155 pounds.
I think that 154 is the factory limited top speed from what I've seen
What sprocket size would make this top speed higher?
Can you do a 60 - 130?
That can be arranged
@@bikesandbangs you have dragy? Or what GPS setup are you using?
Ich möchte dieses T-Shirt haben
der Link steht in der Beschreibung 👍
