Such a great group of friends/added family! Awesome you kept your promise about the break in of the ZX4RR. What Alex said, I did hear both ways too of breaking in a bike.
love your videos.I live in Alaska but have been down in Stanwood helping family last month and half. I have my 2001 FZ!. It's been sitting here for 12 years due to a construction accident I had. After all the surgeries I feel great and it feels so WONDERFUL to ride again. Love the roads around Skagit farm country, lots of twisties and gorgeous views
I have a 2024 zx6 same windscreen. The zero gravity corsa light smoke is by far the best, wind hits you in the shoulders and helmet. I highly recommend. And the 2-6 week wait time is bs they had it to me within 10 days of ordering. Get it you wont be disapointed!!!
Rode all these roads last summer and did the same thing: looking around constantly thinking, god damn so pretty. Nothing like the PNW. Your vid really captures the vibe so thanks as usual!!
keeping rpms too low in break in period could actually be bad for the bike. you want the bike to experience high rpms too BUT make sure the bike is fully up to temperature. also make sure you never keep the same rpm for more than 10min you want it to go all the way from 1k to 6k-14k depending on rpm range (generally 10-20% off redline) but that's only in very short bursts like once every 5-10min. that's the absolute best way to break in a new bike, if you don't believe me go and watch fortnine
The powerband at the top of the gears I've always loved that about kawasaki seems like every one I've rode was like that it makes the bike less twitchy
I like this kind of video. It’s not so mainstream that there is no spirit (barely breaking the limit) but it’s not irresponsible speeding (I hate to see)
@@bpt386 it was around 3500$ the way I had the policy configured. Probably expensive AF because it's an inline 4 regardless of the displacement. If it didn't have fairings it would probably be super cheap to insure.
When was this!?! I was just there a few weeks ago group riding.. I knew that pass looked familiar! Woulda been awesome to catch up with the short king of WA. 🤣 Yes, the east side is way different than the west, until you go up north of Spokane to like Deer Park or sneak into Idaho. Gotta love the differences!

Enjoy the small ones. I'm also in Europe and wanna get a 300-400cc bike to fuck around on twisties and maybe some stunting because the speed at which I'll crash on my big bike will fuck me and my wallet up. PS: I'd avoid Kawasaki. Their coatings the past couple years have been abysmal. ua-cam.com/video/zVv-9P_MJO0/v-deo.htmlsi=TcF167R3pyild37V My Honda has been outside in the sun, rain and snow for a year now, made in 2019 and none of the OEM fasteners have rusted. The aftermarket chinesium ones have though so it's not that I'm keeping it immaculate, just good coatings.
@@ianisas I still wanna get the Kawasaki😅 thx for the tip tho. i do have a garage so my bike wont be outside so i should not have the problems u mentioned "Hopefully" and im turning 23 this year so when i turn 24 i might buy a 600cc bike or maybe just wait another year get some more experience riding then upgrade to the 600cc. i think i would be fine. and gonna fall in love with it regardless of the shit it comes with✌
Apparently people have removed the catalytic converters and tuned it and they got power in the high 90’s and they said if it was stock with that power then it’d be worth it
Serious question, does a quick shifter allow for down shift and up shift? And do you have to release the throttle the same you would with out one when shifting?
Hey Adobo what do you think about the european pricing of the Zx4-RR? I know there are a lot of dealer markups in the USA that just dont exist where i live and i know for a fact that most of the ZX4s around here are selling about 400 Euro under MSRP because all of the dealers give you a discount for having made your A2 license or A license in the year you want to buy the bike. I traded my old bike and got the 400 Euro bonus and eventually only paid 8200 out of the lot.
I got a 24 R7, fuel tank is 3.4 gal. Just hit 600 miles and about to do first service. Doing the easy break in I’ve gotten 60+ mpg. I have seen in the forums and with my bike as well that the fuel gauge on the R7 isn’t all that accurate. When you get to the last bar and it starts flashing your trip meter changes to Trip F and counts up so you know how many miles you have gone since the bar started flashing, this is supposed to happen with .5 gal of fuel left. So far I have had it come on 3 times and each time when I fuel up I find that there was still almost a gallon of fuel left in the tank even though it was flashing. Driving normal I can get 170 miles to a tank and still have enough mileage to make it to a gas station. Hard riding I just figure go get gas at 120 and should be good.
@@novacounciloutsdrs4770 The engine is based off the Kawasaki 650, with a longer stroke. The rumor is that Kawasaki sold Cfmoto the tooling for the first gen ER6 engine and frame. The 650NK still uses the ER6 frame, but the CLX 700 uses a custom CFMoto designed frame.
