Casi NEVER really hurt him because she never drew blood. One good chomp and she could have bitten that demon seed into. He meant he was going to do exactly as he pleased. Every time Calvin decided to "fall" so he could get picked up and brought back to her chest (the spot he was just removed from after being told he couldn't have more milk), Casi should'e left him land where he "fell" and kept walking, as if she didn't notice his absence. I bet his constant "falling" would've stopped real quick. He was such a manipulative and annoying little thing.

I think part of the reason calvin annoyed cassi so much besides not being hers was. He clung to her constantly and ,I believe there was something wrong with him.

She wasnt starving, malnourished, abused or neglected. He wasnt nearly as strong as her by the time they were a couple days old. Of course she did those things

He was the worst baby ever. His mother felt this and threw him out of the tree. I believe Cassie felt obligated to protect the little parasite at first, thinking his mother would soon reclaim him. When that didn’t happen after a couple of days, she started to even feed the goblin more than she fed her own daughter. When it got to the point that he wouldn’t even let Celine drink her own milk in peace and would steal the nipple right from her mouth Cassi finally had her fill of instinct and or obligation and these episodes started occurring more frequently. She realized Calvin was learning. Nothing, he would never take no for an answer, he never tried to forage any food on his own, his social skills were nil and void, and his newfound, feeling of complete entitlement or too much for her to take anymore so she completely cut the milk bar off. He soon was picked up by Chico for the last time, and it didn’t take long for him to die of dehydration after that. That little parasite was never starving or injured by Cassie. The videos wanted you to see what they wanted. I didn’t show you the truth.

He becomes hysterical and demands Casi's submission. LOL. Not even 30 seconds had passed when Calvin begged for leniency and sympathy. Showing your submission.
Calvin's action is deliberate. They have no logic. But their instincts suggest how to provoke an instinctive reaction in another individual. Note. He is screaming. Calvin stopped holding onto the branch with his back legs. A second ago, all four of his limbs were holding him by the branch. He screamed for help and shut up when he met Casi's eyes. WTF?!

Not that crazy to believe at all. Calvin was fed by Casi pretty consistently. He always had plenty of energy to fight Casi, harass Celine and to hold on, including trees with prickly thorns. Energy equals food. No getting around that.

It's not the clinging she's mad about, it's him constantly chewing on her which is how he tells her to feed him and let him nurse right now. He never wanted to wait his turn and respect his hierarchal position, which was dead last in the entire troop and especially after her daughter. That was her problem. If you watch the video he starts chewing on her neck and she pulls his head back by his hair. Then she pushes him to the side and he's leaning his head over her arm trying to take the teat from her baby's mouth. She pushes him back with her arm again, telling him to "stop" and even pulled him by his hair again, and he continued chewing on her arm and trying to get over her arm so he could steal her babies milk while she's eating. Aggressive infant macaques are almost always killed. Aggressive orphaned infant macaques are definitely always killed. He repeatedly refused to submit and would attack her every time he was disciplined. Notice he's grabbing her hair all around her face and ripping it out because he's angry she's pulling him off of her and not letting him cling and nurse ahead of her daughter. He knows what he's doing wrong and brought this all upon himself. She's been teaching him the same lessons since he was born, lessons every other infant macaque picks up in a few days, lesson's Calvin knew but refused to obey. This is how macaques discipline. He's not really a "tiny little baby" he's a month old, he's just a runt. Macaques learn to swim at two days old, they're also walking at two days old (something Calvin still wouldn't do) and are trying other foods by a month. Most macaques already know to lip smack when an adult makes eye contact with them by a month old. He knows exactly what he's doing and does it because Cassie doesn't discipline him nearly hard enough. She's never caused any real pain to him which is why he behaves like this. Once she gives him to Chico who actually connects with her bites when she disciplines him Calvin becomes a whole new monkey. Never once does he scream like this and never once does he attack Chico after Chico disciplines him for it. Even when he pretends he doesn't know how to cling because he's angry he's not with Cassie, Chico just so happened to get pulled by another monkey and Calvin gets smashed into the ground 3x, but he thought Chico did it to him for not clinging and as soon as Chico stood up to walk away, Calvin immediately clung after that. He knew exactly what he was doing, every time. He refused to submit and was constantly testing his luck with adults. Monkeys don't tolerate disrespect from lower ranking individuals, especially infants. They know far more than you think. Calvin never learned his place and to stop being disrespectful toward adults, which is exactly why he was abandoned and rejected by the entire troop.

There’s definitely times where I would have loved to see Casi just pull his head off. It’s really only by luck that she didn’t. She hated him but I think there is some kind of status in the monkey community if you have a newborn and maybe she thought that two would be better. But he almost died a few times I’m sure.

Without food, you cease to move. Calvin moved all right and like you said...put up a hell of a fight. Calvin did no care to learn monkey rules, and did not respect monkey way of life. Yes. Some spread lies saying he was rescued by a sanctuary. I have a playlist containing 1 or 2 videos called "Best Calvin Compilation" or something very close to that. At the end of the approximately 30 minute video you'll find the only shot of Calvin's dead body. I guess there used to be death videos but a group of Karens threatened the creators and had them taken down bc they were triggered by a video of a deceased macaque, when these things are abandoned and die everyday and it's technically educational. After all, this is the wild, nature, and the circle of life.
I personally believe the videos should be posted now that some time has passed bc I feel we deserve an ending to the Calvin series, as it's like an unfinished movie or book leaving some to speculate on his ending.

No. They put him on the wall near his mother Christy and she rejected him again, so Casi took him not knowing he was rejected. That's why she kept leaving him on the ground to cry for his bio mom but she never came for him. He became too aggressive toward both Casi and Celine and refused to learn the lessons Casi was teaching him, so he was rejected by her as well.

Why does she hate baby calvin so much?
because he reuses to learn the lessons she teaches. You look at this and see her being mean but you don't know what you're looking at. She keeps telling him to stop what he's doing (by pulling his hair), but he disrespectfully continues with his chewing on her demanding milk. He's the lowest ranked monkey in the entire troop and needs to learn he eats after every other monkey including Celine. He refused to learn and respect his hierarchical position and constantly fought Casi when she disciplined him. Watch as he repeatedly grabs the fur on her face and rips fist fulls out in clumps. A disrespectful infant is a death sentence in macaque society.
This is sad to watch. Just remember VO’s....y’all made this happen. It was your choice to give Casi this “abandoned” newborn baby. Good concept, but she won’t ever accept him as her own. He will unfortunately have a rough life and I hope it isn’t cut too short. 😢

I know momma monkeys can be very cruel to their babies at times, but the look in Casi’s eyes when she’s got a death grip on him and is biting him all over the place is scary! She goes back and forth with letting him have milk and then leaving him behind! She won’t ever accept him as her own and he’ll always struggle for attention and food! If his real momma is alive and well, do you think she would take him back now? Or is it too late for that to be a viable option?

Celine is her biological daughter. Calvin's mother (Christy) dropped him from a tree after birth and the VOs picked up Calvin and basically placed him in front if Casi. I guess it was her nature to pick him up. However, very seldom will a monkey feed a baby that is not her biological offspring.

4:52 Каси не глядя обнимает дитегыша, думая это Селин. Но оказывпется Кальвин. Кальвин поражён лаской Каси, но и сбит столку за свою ошибку она наказала Кальвина. Мол чего под лапы лезешь?!
