Wow if you really do look closely around 4:40 you see Calvin isn't drinking ANYTHING. Just goes to show you why mom dumped him. She knew he would never survive with how R----- he was and it would be a waste of her energy to raise him for any length of time he could survive. Better to dump him and let nature take him out within 48 hours

That's going to be a hard pass for the entire troop. The whole troop shuns him in four days from this point and not a single monkey will groom him, feed him nor pay him any mind; besides Chico who doesn't have milk to feed him and she even starts trying to pry him off of her a couple days after she gets him because she too, is sick of the leech hanging on her. He's completely rejected due to his jealous and aggressive nature. Aggressive infant macaques never survive infancy especially rejected aggressive infant macaques.
By 1:01 here's Calvin being aggressive towards Celine again and by 1:12 he's tearing at her fur again. He was constantly and intentionally being aggressive toward her and deserved everything he got in the end.
By 4:52 Calvin is stealing Celine's milk and knows he's not supposed to be because he's looking up at Cassie as he does it. Celine catches him and debows him out of the way, taking her milk for herself as she should. Good girl Celine! You finally learn to bully the bully back.

At 2:38 Celine decides that she doesn't need to hang on because Calvin is hanging on so she just reclines back and rests on him. He keeps squirming but she pays no mind and keeps looking around. 😄
Seeing that his squirming is not helping him get to the milk Calvin tries another tactic and stands up but Tanya comes along and practically shoulders him out of the way nearly knocking him out of the tree. He is then seen hanging on desperately with one hand unable to pull himself back up so Casi has to yank him back up. Tanya calmly sits there watching the fool spaz out while Celine nurses.
For a moment the path to the milk is clear as Celine looks around but once she senses that Calvin is squirming his way past her she intercepts him once again. Even when Celine lets go he still can't find the tit. Finally he finds it and is about to get comfy but Celine throws him off easily and reclaims the tit once more.
Calvin nurses in this video but only when Celine lets him.

Они оба новорожденные макакашата. Им обоим и сразу вне очереди нужны тепло мамы и грудь.
Есть один нюанс, касаемый физиологии макак.
Дело ещё не только в количестве, и как долго Кальвин или Селин успевают высосать молоко, но и в его качестве для каждого макакашонка. В организме матери вырабатывается тот состав молока, который подходит полу её дитеныша. Самцам требуется больше белков и каллорий. Самочкам - кальций, так как они растут быстрее
По сути Кальвин мясоед сидит на вегетарианской диете. Где ему наесться? А Селин наедается при относительно равном выпитом молоке (тут надо было бы каждого макакашонка взвесить до и после кормления, чтобы выяснить кто и сколько миллиграмм нямки слопал)
Поэтому Кальвину нужно дольше и больше сосать грудь. К сожалению, он был не один у Каси.

Omg lady. There are 4 videos of them trying to bottle feed him. He refused everything!! He only wanted to be carried and nursed. He was born with developmental delays and should have to been left where his mother abandoned him. If the humans wanted to save him, they could have taken him to a vet to tube feed him and let him live his life in a sanctuary. He had no ability to learn life skills to survive in the wild.

@@Bird1964 from my observation, Calvin has no or little control over his muscles, can't stand or walk right, so suckling takes muscles power to do, maybe that's the reason he went insane when humans tried to feed him, his main objective was to stay safe with his mom, his own species, because that was the only thing he had control over. Honestly, keeping him hydrated was the worst thing to do to him, it was prolonging his suffering, and delaying the upcoming end. It's what tge medical proffionals do at tge end of life process, stop hydrating tge body for more comfortable process.
The longer Calvin had few drops here and there, the longer he stayed suffering from the pain of hunger, of which no one can help him with. His bio mom knew best.

This is the game plan,VO's feed Cassi more food than the others. However, when they stop feeding her more, she consequently stops feeding him (baby Calvin). Its a crucial trick among many they play on these animals and viewers. This poor baby was trying to survive, people hated him for it. It tells alot about humanity. Moreover, she used this baby for food, fed him enough to keep him alive until others wanted to cash in as well, until he died, from dehydration. I'm sure you love monkey.
I hated calvin true, because he was trying to survive on the account of celine and her milk..he was born a defect handicap his mother dumped him this is not celine's nor casi's responsibility..nature rules say he should die cause he does not fit and cannot, so he should die..in the end nature ruled and he died because he was a true misfit.
On top of that mom can only feed a female for the calcium, if she had a male it wouldn't be a problem to feed him. she would produce fat in the milk which causes the males to grow up faster to bump them out of the nest to join the other males. Those VOs were bored that day and said what if we threw him on her and see what happens.

What I don't get is "why" the camera man would stand by and watch what that poor thing went thru. He was thriving once he got bottle fed. Only to be starved again. Casi nor Celine was responsible for feeding or keeping Calvin alive. Christy, his biological mother let him fall from a tree and left to die. Celine was a day older than Calvin, so instinctually she and her mother was protecting her food source, they viewed him as a threat. These infants at this age need to nurse frequently and I'm quite sure if Calvin had the chance and Casi allowed it, he would've blocked and starved Celine, he was an abandoned infant trying to survive by any means necessary. Its a good thing that Casi kept him in a weakened state and Celine was the bigger and healthier infant. I could only imagine the struggle Casi and Celine would've had if she allowed him to nurse at will and thrive. I believe she took him to kill him, but that's just my opinion.

This is the healthiest Calvin ever looked but even then, he doesn’t look healthy like Celine does. He was definitely at a point where he had picked up weight though.

You're absolutely correct. I went through all the videos myself last night to see the dates and see which days he was actually abandoned. That video titled "Cassie not good with Calvin" where he gets a real good ass beating because he won't behave and stop trying to take milk while Celine's nursing, happens the day before she gives him to Chico for good. I knew she was done with him after that video LOL I just wish the videos were in order because I hate watching them all jumbled up and I really want to see how things happened in chronological order. That's why I started checking the dates so I could try to put it together myself.

I feel sorry for Celine constantly haven’t her hair ripped out her eyes clawd at her ears and face sucked constantly slamming into her trying to push her out of his way he was a little aggressive asshole she never got to eat in peace there’s plenty a video proof where is Salinas on Casi‘s back patiently waiting but anytime it was Celine stern he would act like a straight up asshole and in my opinion that’s why Casi eventually stop feeding him because of his aggression not only towards Celine but hurt Casi also and his total disregard for anything she was trying to teach him

He didn't know there were two nipples. Remember he has had Little to none nursing experience. He does not want what she has! If he knew there were two milk sources don't ya think he would have been search for the other one. He knew if she was nursing he needed to get where she was.

He could never find or keep the Teat in his mouth. Something most Newborn Monkeys master in there first week of life. If you watch some of the videos Cassi's frustration comes from Calvin Pecking all over her chest until she cannot take it anymore and puts him on her side.. The humans made a huge mistake touching him.. Calvin was meant for a quick death. His Mother knew he was not normal. Because Humans think they know more than these Monkeys Calvin was put through 3weeks of Hell .

Vo's literally threw him on her. She was confused at first and there were many times where she did the butt sniff to figure out which was hers and looked like she wasn't going to come back when Calvin was on the ground not attached to her but it was like some kind of maternal instinct kept overriding her instinct to think of her baby first and she would pick him up out of pity. Finally she got to the point where she realized Calvin was a severely mentally r_______ baby and he would never survive because he couldn't even master sucking a teet. She let Chiko keep him and Chiko got real sick of him real quick. He was supposed to die about 48 hours after the real mom left him on the ground to do what nature does to the "special" babies.

This is a VERY old video. Calvin was kidnapped by VO’s and pushed onto Cassie. She was not his mother and that is why she kept denying him milk or food. VO’s spun this story to make money, as they usually do. Doesn’t matter now, pretty sure they are all dead. Unfortunately Calvin died of starvation.

He died when he was just two and a half weeks old. Other than what the VOs forced down his throat, he got no nourishment from Casi the first two or three days after she got him. In fact, there are videos showing Casi torturing him when his cord was still wet. At that stage, how can we say that he was defiant to her? He had done nothing to Celine when he was just 2 or 3 hrs old.

He was alive and kicking when Cassi walked away from him.. It was the actions of Cheko and no human interference that killed him.. Had Cheko not kept Calvin for 8 or more hours with nothing to eat in that heat . Or a human would have rescued him. He would still be alive.. ( MAYBE ) If nothing else happened after!!!

The only difference was the kidnapper was still pregnant so she wasn’t lactating and didn’t have to “defend” her offsprings “survival zone” and/or milk. However, the kidnapper did let the baby monkey use her teat as a pacifier and let her suckle.
A higher ranking female will sometimes kidnap and starve a lower ranking females baby for the benefit of HER baby. It’s an instinctual behavior that happens amongst these adult females.
These Macaques don’t normally nurse a baby that’s not their own for the long term, so the milk Calvin got, was a “lottery win” for him. These Macaques are notorious kidnappers though and Casi was a known one prior to Calvin.
A Macaque without its mother is as good as dead. 🤷🏾♀️
Why his birth mom abandoned him? Who knows but Casi gave her numerous opportunities to grab him each and every time she abandoned him. She didn’t want him for whatever instinctual reason..
If you watched Daniela’s story and how DD would kidnap and drag Daniela by the tail everywhere, Dana (Daniela’s low ranking mother, DD was high ranking) would wait and follow DD until she could safely grab Daniela)… Calvin’s birth mom never tried getting him. Not once.
Fact: a constantly screeching baby macaque isn’t tolerated in the macaque society. It can cause fights and even deaths. It drawls unwanted attention, predators and annoys other troop members. This is one reason why you see monkey moms give in to their offspring during weaning wars so much…
Casi was the queen of “mock biting” and if you pay attention, she done A LOT of that with Calvin. Only when she got super angry did it appear that she actually bit him…. But even then, it never looked hard. I mean, his face, neck, arms were never red from being bit nor were there ever any teeth marks. . .
If you watched Rozys rejected baby, in the final video after she dropped it out of the 3rd tree, you can visually see teeth marks on his face/head… (So there’s your comparison)
