She is an emotional wreck. Trying to raise Calvin isolated her from her troop and her daughter. She only had Ceska shoulder to cry on. Everyone else in the troop thought Casi was nuts and Casi had to do a lot fear grimacing to keep everything cool. 8:46 Finally another mom sits next to Casi. Casi looks up, happy to see a friend... Then the Chuckie doll pops his freakishly bulbus head up and screams for no reason...😡

Calvin is one of the infants that nurse like little a s s holes, stretch the nips and probably bite. The ones like him I notice get weaned hard or early. It must’ve been hell for the mother to nurse her own infant with that little ignorant stranger pushing at her baby’s head and stretching her nip constantly. No wonder she acted in aggression more often than not. All he had to do was act right.
You don't know anything about these monkeys lol, when you see the baby stretching the nipples it makes the milk flow faster. If he was biting her nipple she would stop letting him nurse. The reason she was aggressive towards him is because he wasn't her baby for one thing, for another he was constantly sucking on her arm, looking her in the eye which to a monkey is a sign of aggression.
Almost 100% of his caloric intake went to fueling his insane temper tantrums. I do think Casi was able to sense that for Calvin More Milk = More Tantrum

He drove her Crazy! And he was agressive even when she was feeding him pretty steady as Celine was on her back playing and exploring! CASI was tired, hungry and did have any rest time with her daughter! To busy wrestling with him! I realize he was starving and acting out then but he was always a lil shit!

Cassi is a higher ranking female, all high ranking females will grab and protect a infant if there is humans around, it sets off her motherly instincts, unfortunately for Cassi his mother never tried to get him back. Everytime Cassi tried to abandon him these men moved in trying to video him screeching for Cassi, when they moved in Cassi would run and grab him to protect him from the humans. The last time Cassi walked away from him the young juvenile Chico grabbed him and ran with him, lol that's all Cassi needed, she never looked back lol 😆😆😆😆
She didn't ever grab him.. short version calvin born in tree to monkey afraid of humans... he fell to ground.. vos grabbed baby then put him on casi back.. he slid off she walked away.. mom still trapped away from calvin by vo.. vo takes calvin again and puts him on casi back next to her baby.. then she kept him.. first couple days you could see real mom following ... calvin was fed but he became aggressive to her baby and the girl started losing weight. Casi shuts off Calvin's milk freedom and he doesn't thrive..
Calvin is the only monkey other than Janet who tried to retaliate against there caregiver because of being denied milk..Did you see when Cassi pulled him off her chest by grabbing the fur on the top of his Bobblehead? He viciously grabbed a Big Handful of her Throat and proceeded to squeeze it in his Webbed Fist at 3:16.. The Milk Mooching Monger then proceeded at 3: 25 to Reach his Webbed Claw up towards Cassi's Face to Grab her Eyebrow and Yank with his Putrid Might then throws a Tantrum as if Cassi did Something to him!! They have tons of skin on their head too, so typically you can see it all rolled up where she pulls it and I love it when she yanks his hair and his skin goes lopsided and his little haircut looks crooked on top of his head. You can clearly see in this video how sick of Calvin's tantrums Casi is becoming. All she did was move him and he threw a tantrum. Just more evidence as to why Calvin was completely 100 percent responsible for his own demise. I can't imagine any macaque dealing with this type of behavior, when they don't even deal with it from their own offspring.

This cameraman is absolutely horrible. Not everyone can be a nature photographer. The people in these countries think they can just grab a camera and start recording without even thinking about whether or not they can hold a camera steady. The constant jumping around with the camera and the constant nodding off, is the only way I can describe it (nodding off like a junkie when the camera falls down and then it swiftly pulled back up like he just woke up again) gives people a headache. I said what I said and I'm not sorry. 🤷🏽♀️
I don't need a scientist or a know-it-all to tell me if an animal has emotions, I have owned a lot of pets and horses in my time on gods green Earth and I firmly believe they all have emotions. Basic emotions, not as complex as our own, but they do have them. If that's what you want to believe then do that, you gotta do what works for you.
Nope. The answer is no. Whatever emotions you think they have, ok whatever makes your toes curl I guess. But they DO NOT have Human emotions as we do. They do not even cry as they have no tear ducts, so they physically are not able to. The babies do look a lot like us. But it ends there. You'll notice with some curious frequency that when the subject happens to be centered, he quickly "corrects" it by swinging camera left, right, and up. You may also notice that this occurs on countless channels....... that's either busloads of amateurs all handling the same camera simultaneously, OR he's trained a monkey or snake to handle camera, OR he thinks lots of motion of the lens adds action to the scene, or it's him and his hundreds of channels. Lots of suspense in these videos....... you're never really sure how long the lens will spend with leaves blocking the view, or how long scenes of the dirt and gravel ground will remain until interrupted by reappearance of the subject.

Everyone always says about how Celine sweet and doesn't even say a peep. Well I've watching closely. Celine always blocks Calvin from the left nipple by latching on herself. She pulls his hair back, like mom does. She steps on him wherever she needs to. Slaps him, etc. So she is no angel ! Its survival of the fittest!What I'm saying is, Mama taught her well! She can fight against him with the best of them! They are animals, they are taught what they need from their mothers! The better the mom, the better chance the little ones have to survive!

So did I in the beginning. But when I saw him try and starve Celine from her own Milk by Birthright. He took over the milk for 3 days! Celine lost a lot of weight. I no longer did felt sorry for him and I watched it almost 3 yrs ago when it actually took place. But on the other hand I learned these Mom Macaque’s actually produce different milk for Male or Female Offspring. Since Casi had a Female that milk Literally wasn’t meant for Calvin a Male. Male milk is more thicker with nutrition Males need to grow properly. Which he could never get from Casi! So yes Nature does have a way of weeding out the Weak!
Celine is the only one I felt sorry for! She was 1 day older than Calvin, by her mother picking this rejected thing up made her life hell! She should have never had to fight for her birth right but she did!
I think you're alone in that. I felt more sorry for Celine as she was constantly tortured by this little reject her mother decided to pick up and put next to her. The first month of her life was hell with this little creepy thing tearing at her flesh, chewing on her ears, pecking her in the head, pinching her with both his hands and feet and ripping at her fur every time he got angry or couldn't nurse whenever he wanted. He was terribly jealous of Celine and took all of his aggression and anger out on her poor little body.

I’m really amazed at how people look at this. I don’t think I have ever seen another person who thinks of this like I do. Calvin was mere hours away from death with a biological mother that didn’t want him. If any other monkey, say Chiko, had picked him up on April 15th and wondered off with him he would have died that day. Calvin is the luckiest monkey on planet Earth that he happened to get picked up by Casi. She saved his life. No matter how difficult it was for him, you have to think in terms of facts and not emotions. Calvin was an undisciplined worthless baby monkey. You can grumble and moan about that all you want but in the animal kingdom he was good as dead. Babies don’t just need nutrition though. They must be able to wrap their arms around a big warm belly with fur they can tangle their hands up in and get the feeling of clinging and using their arms and legs. Monkeys don’t exchange hugs or laughs so to a baby monkey, when mom looks down at them and doesn’t bounce and yank their hair back then that is a feeling of acceptance. These feelings are not like you and I feel them, it’s just the natural progression of the two monkeys getting to know each other with one being dominant and the other using every tool in its tiny tool shed to challenge for dominance. What Casi did was remarkable, and Calvin was never getting abused or under the threat of being killed. It’s unheard of that a mother adopt another baby and let it hang on with their own baby for 3 weeks. Calvin had it tougher because in order for him to survive in that wild troop he was going to have to learn very quickly and somehow prepare himself for when Casi couldn’t carry him around any longer. Calvin just turned out to be the biggest dud I have seen. He wasn’t going to survive no matter what. It’s very difficult to tell what might have happened if Christy kept him, but he had no chance with the amount of effort he put into things. He was stunningly bad. He had nothing to offer. The only cell firing in his brain was the one telling him to get milk. And that’s all he did for 3 weeks. But Calvin was extremely lucky. The wild is unforgiving and a baby monkey screaming on the jungle floor after being dumped by its mother is only good for filling the belly of a predator. He would have ended up getting his arms and legs pulled off and eaten while he screamed and cried and then his face would have been ripped off and eaten. Not many monkeys are as lucky as Calvin was. Calvin wasn’t prepared to thrive in life. His overall picture of health and wellness on his last few days was getting bleak. Animals with that spark of life will overcome incredible odds to survive. Animals that were born to die will quickly begin to fade and not be able to pull itself back. Calvin did what he was supposed to do. His 19 days worth of videos is howlingly funny.

Casi only behaves how her instincts direct her to. She has no ability physically or mentally or any other "ally" to control, change, or stop it. What you want is for this animal to behave as YOU expect her to, and to treat Calvin in the way a normal human would treat their baby. With feelings and emotions. Why do most of you adults have great difficulty and struggle with this?🤔 These animals will never behave as you want and expect them to, as they are wild animals driven by instinct for the sole purpose of survival. Your use of the word abuse is faulty. Words such as abuse, torture, revenge, hate etc, are words that require the awareness that only humans have. I think it’s the first chapter of the Bible speaks about eating fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and from then Adam and Eve realized they were naked went to cover themselves. Abuse cannot come from an animal. They simply do not have the capacity to know something is right or wrong. Abuse alludes to the idea the abuser understands their wrongdoing and that there is punishment for that. Abuse requires a person to willingly commit those acts with full knowledge they are wrong. Abuse is committed by someone who has a clear idea why the abuse is taking place. Like they abuse a child because they have hatred for the mother, or they abuse the elderly in order to make them submissive so they can steal their government checks. Animals are never guilty of anything. They have no understanding of any of that. You definitely watch monkeys as they act sneaky but what causes that is a loose few troop rules that will upset other monkeys if broken. The most you could really say about Casi is she was rough with him.

Calvin is abusive to both Cassie and Celine, poor Cassie and Celine. I feel bad for them, not him. Poor Celine had to deal with this little reject that her mother decided to pick up and protect for the first month of her life. This little reject that essentially attacked her every time he was angry and couldn't have exactly what he wanted or every time he was told he couldn't search for the teat. His little disgusting webbed foot would reach out and pinch Celine or he would grab hold of her fur and pull or he'd grab her by the face. He constantly tortured her, pecked her in the head, and gnawed on her ears. He went out of his way to ensure both of their lives were miserable because he was jealous possessive and hateful. I don't feel bad for Calvin at all. He was 100 percent responsible for his own demise.

Calvin is one of the infants that nurse like little a s s holes, stretch the nips and probably bite. The ones like him I notice get weaned hard or early. It must’ve been hell for the mother to nurse her own infant with that little ignorant stranger pushing at her baby’s head and stretching her nip constantly. No wonder she acted in aggression more often than not. All he had to do was act right.
You don't know anything about these monkeys lol, when you see the baby stretching the nipples it makes the milk flow faster. If he was biting her nipple she would stop letting him nurse. The reason she was aggressive towards him is because he wasn't her baby for one thing, for another he was constantly sucking on her arm, looking her in the eye which to a monkey is a sign of aggression.

That’s called “The Squint.” She stretches the skin on his head so far back it pulls his eyes shut. They have tons of skin on their head too, so typically you can see it all rolled up where she pulls it and I love it when she yanks his hair and his skin goes lopsided and his little haircut looks crooked on top of his head. This cameraman is absolutely horrible. Not everyone can be a nature photographer. The people in these countries think they can just grab a camera and start recording without even thinking about whether or not they can hold a camera steady. The constant jumping around with the camera and the constant nodding off, is the only way I can describe it (nodding off like a junkie when the camera falls down and then it swiftly pulled back up like he just woke up again) gives people a headache. I don't need a scientist or a know-it-all to tell me if an animal has emotions, I have owned a lot of pets and horses in my time on gods green Earth and I firmly believe they all have emotions. So did I in the beginning. But when I saw him try and starve Celine from her own Milk by Birthright. He took over the milk for 3 days! Celine lost a lot of weight. I no longer did felt sorry for him and I watched it almost 3 yrs ago when it actually took place. But on the other hand I learned these Mom Macaque’s actually produce different milk for Male or Female Offspring. Since Casi had a Female that milk Literally wasn’t meant for Calvin a Male. Male milk is more thicker with nutrition Males need to grow properly. Which he could never get from Casi! So yes Nature does have a way of weeding out the Weak!
Celine is the only one I felt sorry for! She was 1 day older than Calvin, by her mother picking this rejected thing up made her life hell! She should have never had to fight for her birth right but she did!
I think you're alone in that. I felt more sorry for Celine as she was constantly tortured by this little reject her mother decided to pick up and put next to her. The first month of her life was hell with this little creepy thing tearing at her flesh, chewing on her ears, pecking her in the head, pinching her with both his hands and feet and ripping at her fur every time he got angry or couldn't nurse whenever he wanted. He was terribly jealous of Celine and took all of his aggression and anger out on her poor little body.

I’m really amazed at how people look at this. I don’t think I have ever seen another person who thinks of this like I do.
Calvin was mere hours away from death with a biological mother that didn’t want him. If any other monkey, say Chiko, had picked him up on April 15th and wondered off with him he would have died that day. Calvin is the luckiest monkey on planet Earth that he happened to get picked up by Casi. She saved his life. No matter how difficult it was for him, you have to think in terms of facts and not emotions. Calvin was an undisciplined worthless baby monkey. You can grumble and moan about that all you want but in the animal kingdom he was good as dead. Babies don’t just need nutrition though. They must be able to wrap their arms around a big warm belly with fur they can tangle their hands up in and get the feeling of clinging and using their arms and legs. Monkeys don’t exchange hugs or laughs so to a baby monkey, when mom looks down at them and doesn’t bounce and yank their hair back then that is a feeling of acceptance. These feelings are not like you and I feel them, it’s just the natural progression of the two monkeys getting to know each other with one being dominant and the other using every tool in its tiny tool shed to challenge for dominance. What Casi did was remarkable, and Calvin was never getting abused or under the threat of being killed. It’s unheard of that a mother adopt another baby and let it hang on with their own baby for 3 weeks. Calvin had it tougher because in order for him to survive in that wild troop he was going to have to learn very quickly and somehow prepare himself for when Casi couldn’t carry him around any longer.
Calvin just turned out to be the biggest dud I have seen. He wasn’t going to survive no matter what. It’s very difficult to tell what might have happened if Christy kept him, but he had no chance with the amount of effort he put into things. He was stunningly bad. He had nothing to offer. The only cell firing in his brain was the one telling him to get milk. And that’s all he did for 3 weeks. But Calvin was extremely lucky. The wild is unforgiving and a baby monkey screaming on the jungle floor after being dumped by its mother is only good for filling the belly of a predator. He would have ended up getting his arms and legs pulled off and eaten while he screamed and cried and then his face would have been ripped off and eaten. Not many monkeys are as lucky as Calvin was. Calvin wasn’t prepared to thrive in life. His overall picture of health and wellness on his last few days was getting bleak. Animals with that spark of life will overcome incredible odds to survive. Animals that were born to die will quickly begin to fade and not be able to pull itself back. Calvin did what he was supposed to do. His 19 days worth of videos is howlingly funny.

Calvin is a victim dying a slow agonizing death. Casi should release him to his own fate instead of keeping him captive only to abuse him.
Your use of the word abuse is faulty. Words such as abuse, torture, revenge, hate etc, are words that require the awareness that only humans have. I think it’s the first chapter of the Bible speaks about eating fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and from then Adam and Eve realized they were naked went to cover themselves. Abuse cannot come from an animal. They simply do not have the capacity to know something is right or wrong. Abuse alludes to the idea the abuser understands their wrongdoing and that there is punishment for that. Abuse requires a person to willingly commit those acts with full knowledge they are wrong. Abuse is committed by someone who has a clear idea why the abuse is taking place. Like they abuse a child because they have hatred for the mother, or they abuse the elderly in order to make them submissive so they can steal their government checks.
Animals are never guilty of anything. They have no understanding of any of that. You definitely watch monkeys as they act sneaky but what causes that is a loose few troop rules that will upset other monkeys if broken. The most you could really say about Casi is she was rough with him.

Calvin is abusive to both Cassie and Celine, poor Cassie and Celine. I feel bad for them, not him. Poor Celine had to deal with this little reject that her mother decided to pick up and protect for the first month of her life. Cameraman cares. He watches a LOT of video footage for examples of camera use, like centering of subject, focus, leaving the zoom alone, etc. Problem is the only examples he watches are his own. And STILL uploads it.
