Scott McKnight needs to flesh out his teachers assessment of Luke's theology in Acts (the book McKnight wrote a foreword to) . I mean that reception/experience of the Holy Spirit as being the distinguishing Mark of a "Christian". Many of those wanting to be involved in "kingdom" work and not the church are needing to receive the Spirit ( Acts 19)
McKnight comment about Ladds wrong idea on the kingdom was great. Anti-Semitism is at the root of the idea. Ladd fell for it cuz he fought dispensationalism of his brethren days.
How exactly is resisting the errors of dispensationalism antisemitic unless Christian Zionists have such an elevated, idolatrous view of Jews and the Jewish state that they must be elevated above and apart from Jesus and His Gospel and followers?
@@edeancozzens3833 your comment illustrates it. Romans 11:1 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
