Jets fan all my life and I’m in my mid 30s, been saying this for a long time. Nothing will change until the team is sold, but it will change hands to another incompetent owner most likely. Cursed franchise, the theory Namath sold his soul seems more likely year by year

When Mike White said “I should’ve been a first round pick” I literally said “he’s one and done”
yeah i said the same thing but he's got to have strong confidence in himself to even get to the NFL. I'd rather have someone that has belief in himself than the opposite.
He deserves another start. He's still shown more in the NFL than Wilson, who is allowed to suck game after game after game after game because of the investment. MW should get more than one bad game against the #1 defense before his book is closed.

Some coaches are actual coaches that develop their young team while accepting a couple of bad years in the process. Some teams seem to think they can draft and trade their way into a good team, which is what the Jets do. You can't win games if you keep switching around every season.

Flacco started for the jets last year against the Dolphins and helped put up zero poi ts in a close 24 to 0 score
Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. The Pats are showing the benefits of a solid, quality coaching staff, a solid O line, and a classic BB defense that starts peaking as we head in to December. But the Bolts and the Browns are the only quality teams they've beat.

Another sign of quality coaching. Contrast with, for example, Gruden's Raiders: start out hot, collapse in December. I've never understood that.

Mike White's 1 bad game is still better than Zach Wilson's whole season so far. WE forget he threw 3 ints in one half alone? To where not one receiver was in the area? Give the kid his chances man. he had 1 great game, 1 good drive in a game he got injured, and 1 bad game, against a great team.

NE Patriots fan since 1985. There were many, many lean doormat years. I still have to pinch myself at their success and how good it is to be a genuine fan of this organisation. And now, after 20 years of dynasty and six Super Bowls, a new and wonderful, budding QB home grown in our precious system whilst all these other teams with their shiny number 1 draft choice quarterbacks that never amount to any real success or much of anything anyway in the end. I love the patriots ethos of focus, accountability, and teamwork, not flashy but solid, integrated and effective. So gratifying!

I saw the Boston Patriots play the Namath Jets the year Joe won. Gerry Philbin worked with my Uncle Jim in the off-season and got us the tickets. The Pats played at BC that year, a gloried HS field. I was an AFL kid and I rooted for the Jets with all my heart in the Super Bowl. Last time I rooted for the Jets. The owner is a fool.

100% accurate Rich - our Jets can't decide if they're re-building, trying to win or going for high draft picks. I'm done with Joe Douglas too....the same Joe Douglas who refused to fire Gase early in 2020 when it was clear the season was a dumpster fire.
And yes, FINALLY someone told the truth about Rex. He inherited a good and improving team from Mangini, a guy that could see talent and drafted accordingly. Rex comes in and in two years, under his draft scheme, we go back to sucking it big time. Rex needs to shut up.

I love that Rich who is so knowledge about 31 teams is utterly clueless about the team he supports. Wilson sitting for the rest of season is 100% the best thing that could happen to Wilson. This season was lost when the JETS trade Darnold and did not build the talent up for the next 2 years before drafting a QB into a situation were he can win. Putting a younf QB into a situation to take lump hurt the developement siginficantly. Mac Jones is doing well because the PATS have talent around him so the few lumps he take he can learn from. The Jets and Wilson those lumps come so fast he can not learn from any of the lumps all they do is hurt and bring down the qb. Wilson is a Bust waiting to happen purely because the JETS are clueless about building talent.
