Darnold making something from the damage. :-0 The exception was an audible! No designed plays in drives which score. We are a non-existent Offense for the middle 54 minutes in every game. There's no precedent for this. And that's just for starters w/ this years team. Abysmal season again / Horrible franchise. And #FuckGase, for more starters....

As this is a Jet's fan channel you may not know how bad the Bengals have been. I've seen a lot. I have never seen a team lose to a 3rd string quarterback. Until last night. Until the Jets. The officiating WAS poor for both teams but it is only 'roughing the passer' if the QB has actually thrown a pass. Darnold was holding on to the ball so it's only a penalty if the tackler goes in helmet first or grabs him by the facemask or spears him or horsecollars him. Just throwing him to the ground sideways is a legitimate tackle, it's just typical for the Jets that Darnold got injured by it.
i have to agree with joe on the jets not getting flags... its not just the jets either it happens a lot to bad teams because unknown players never get calls and its not even just a skilled thing. julian edelman and braxton berrios could run the same route, get defended the same way and 9 times out of 10 berrios doesnt get the same call edelman does. its also a stigma thing, teams with bad reps get shit on by refs even if the player has nothing to do with the teams terrible reputation.

Okay, full disclosure. I'm from Cincinnati, lived in northern New Jersey for 10 years, and moved back to Cincy. I love the Bengals and the Jets. What I mean to say is, I know a lot about losing. As this is a Jet's fan channel you may not know how bad the Bengals have been. I've seen a lot. I have never seen a team lose to a 3rd string quarterback. Until last night. Until the Jets. I still love 'em. Despise the owner and the coaches. Oh and the new Uniforms look like something out of Rollerball. This is worse than Kotite.
If the Jets had Mahomes, Wilson, Jackson, Brady, Rodgers with this current Jets roster we’d be competing for a playoff spot. Darnold has a 1:1 td/int ratio with many of his td passes coming in garbage time. Wake up Jets fans!!

nah yo, the playcalling is ALWAYS bad. but yeah, i give it to gase that last night was the first time he opened up the offense in a long time, so i give him that. and yes there was bad execution. HOWEVER that has nothing to do with gase' bad choice of playcalling in certain spots of the game

The officiating WAS poor for both teams but it is only 'roughing the passer' if the QB has actually thrown a pass. Darnold was holding on to the ball so it's only a penalty if the tackler goes in helmet first or grabs him by the facemask or spears him or horsecollars him. Just throwing him to the ground sideways is a legitimate tackle, it's just typical for the Jets that Darnold got injured by it.
i have to agree with joe on the jets not getting flags... its not just the jets either it happens a lot to bad teams because unknown players never get calls and its not even just a skilled thing. julian edelman and braxton berrios could run the same route, get defended the same way and 9 times out of 10 berrios doesnt get the same call edelman does. its also a stigma thing, teams with bad reps get shit on by refs even if the player has nothing to do with the teams terrible reputation.
If Gase was fired that would’ve been the 1st win of the 2020 season
