Arnold has enjoyed economic independence since the early 70's.. what most people don't know is that he was a very succesful entrepreneur and businessman, which allowed him to focus fully on his bodybuilding career. He doesn't need paychecks.

I always felt like The Sarah Connor Chronicles was the best idea after Terminator 2. It expanded the idea of Terminator as the entity that is capable of feelings and emotions, that we had seen at the end of T2. It also made a look into how John grows up, overwhelmed by the burden od loneliness, misunderstanding and never ending danger from Skynet and Terminators, until Cameron shows up. The relationship between Cameron Phillips and John Connor is one of those things from Terminator franchise that deserved so much better in terms of insight and development. John's love interest in Kate Brewster felt too plain, because I think they were actually pushed to be together, when relationship of John between Cameron in TSCC actually has a profound story and great potential. John is her teacher in understanding humans and Cameron teaches him, what terminators are. Also the ambiguity of their feelings is blessing and curse of the TV series, because everyone rooted for them to be lovers, especially when Riley appeared, but obviously...no season 3 to unveil what was most anticipated by thousands of people - seeing John in unconditional love with the very thing he was born to destroy. This is actually so poetic and tragic! At least it's my opinion

The terminators played by Arnold in most of the films (except terminator 3) are Cyberdyne Systems T-800 series, Model 101.
T-800 = chassis design
Model 101 = biological cover
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines has Arnold playing a Cyberdyne Systems T-850 model 101 which is an improved 800 series design keeping the same covering.
If you watch the trailer for Terminator 2: Judgement Day they show a scene where the terminator’s information is on a computer screen. That same scene appears in the music video for Guns N Roses “You Could Be Mine”.

I just finished watching Rise of the Machines with my parents, and, despite the critical reception, I’d say this is one of the top three favourites in the franchise.
T1: Absolute gem
T2: pretty good
T3: alright a watch - really enjoyed

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles had such a promising cliffhanger. John Connor goes to the future to retrieve the program chip for his T-900 Cameron while meeting its human inspiration Allison Young, Kyle Reese takes John's place as the chosen resistance leader & Sarah Connor pledges to continue fighting to stop the apocalypse in spite of her leukemia, even though John's arrival in an apocalyptic future shows she evidently fails.
I need to watch it. Ppl say that the series is the real Terminator 3.
@@tweeks9896 Terminator:TSSC being the real T3 is up to the viewer. I have not seen TDarkFate, and based on what I am hearing T:TSSC would be the an alternative version to that. The series has more time travel use not just by terminators & resistance fighters, but also with Sarah, John & Cameron. My opinion is that the series material is enough to push out a couple of 2 hour movies before something like T3 or TSalvation happened.
@@HOTD108_ That's why it is a cliffhanger...the series could have continued in a direction where John came back from the future or Sarah does not ultimately fail. However, the series cancelled. So unless the series is renewed(unlikely), we don't actually know where the story was going.

By the way, SCC has a better looking T-600 then Salvation, he looks in SCC more like a human, just with rubber skin, in Salvation, he is to tall and clumsy. By the way, I also like the future war scenes from SCC way more then those from the sequel movie from T3 on, they looked dirty and depressing according to the ones from T1 and T2.

1- Arnold type, 2- Liquid type, 3- Endoskeleton with liquid type cover, 4- Cyborg, 5- Dark couloured Terminator.
Of course the stories about time travel, chase scenes, protecting someone, and more ad nauseum.
There was no originality in Dark Fate, but just tried to put the five Terminator movies together and blended the abomination known as Terminator: Dark Fate.

I like the Rev9 in terms of infiltration. He seems like a normal guy who engages in conversations ("two tours in Afghanistan", "I prayed more in five minutes then I did my whole life")
That normalcy would probably let people lower their guard, and then *STAB* you're dead.
It had me fooled when it was the female officer, I thought she would be killed by it or see the aftermath of its killing.

Yeah. He's even more charismatic than the T-1000. I wondered how Legion managed to make them so... human. Even when he was talking to 'Carl', he spoke like a human would.
Jetfire97 the thing is, it doesn’t matter if you’re at the most guarded you possibly can be. He will easily stab you. The fact that he doesn’t do it easier, and more often, is a plot hole. For all intents and purposes, he’s unstoppable and invincible.

@Axel Nilsson That opinion is fine. But that’s where the STORY ends for me. You could say Back to the Future needs/could have dozens of sequels, but if the story is shit, time travel is irrelevant.
The T-800 (T1 and T2), T-1000, and T-X are my favorite three. I don't think they can be topped.

T1 and T2 were absolutley breathtaking and atmospheric, with powerful characterizations and high steaks. The lore is juicy, and the emotions were high. T1 had a horror/action element, T2 had a adventure/action element. T3 had amazing potential where it shows us how Skynet took over and the various T-models that were developed in the facility. The T-X was a stellar villain (she felt like "the final villain" - though I wish the writers utilized more of her abilities and weapons), the crane chase scene was incredible, and the ending was perfect and unexpected. That being said, the film was bogged down with humor making light of the situtation and it lacked the heart of the first two. I walked away after having a good time, but also wanting more. As for the other sequels... I couldn't get down with them. T3 should have led into a story that resembled the battle that was told by Kyle Reese in T1. The war and atmosphere in Salvation felt nothing like what we saw in previous film flashbacks. Yes, it had some great sequences and I thought Marcus was an interesting idea. Loved seeing the creation of the T-800s. Genysis and Dark Fate had cool ideas that were let down by terrible cash-grab writing. Same goes for the TV show. The show had some fun parts and ideas, but something just didn't work. Maybe it was the budget? It felt like an action show that did what if could on a small budget. I loved the charactes, though.

The only reason I like the movies after T2 is for Christian Bale and Arnold . Honestly Salvation is a good movie. The other sequels don’t bother me since they are basically alternate timelines after T2 .

Salvation was good if they ended with the T800 getting melted, and then they have to face an ethical dellema about Marcus -- do they pardon him, or "dismantle" him. The lame "I'll give him my heart" ending was a way to tidy up loose ends without asking tough questions about humanities ability to recognize good peoples. I mean, if they wanted to wrap up the John Conner story line, they also could have just let that be the end of John Connor... then the next film could have been a flipped-script where the resistance in the future sends back a terminator that looks like John Connor to the time of Salvation in order to do some twisty stuff that we don't fully understand until the end of the film whether it's good (e.g., save John, lead the resistance, etc.) or bad (e.g., infultrate and gather intel, prevent sending Reece back to 1984, etc.)
That book would make an interesting movie. Hmmm! Lightbulb!!🥳👍❤️.
