And dont carry the thread on the back over where you will cut. It will get in the way and may be visible.

Just found your channel and I so enjoyed your video today- I’m a new subscriber… so many beautiful cross stitch projects you’re working on. I love the hardanger piece you’re planning to start. I just love hardanger and my favorite designer, whose pieces, most of them anyways, have multiple specialty stitches and sections of hardanger, is Victoria Sampler. She also has many youtube videos on instructions of multiple specialty stitches. Also, one other flosstuber, who no longer posts, is Stitching with a Smile. She has excellent videos primarily on hardanger… starting with the kloster blocks, the cutting and the different filling stitches. I think if you watch these two ladies’ videos, and do a little practice work, you’ll be an old pro on hardanger in no time. Looking forward to your next video.
I agree with you on dirty hands and stitching. I always wash my hands before I start and never sew if I am doing any decorating or handy work, or at least make an area safe for sewing in the evening to relax. I love your conversion of the Lighthouse, I enjoy all your conversions and they give me ideas for my own. I am currently working on the blue conversion for Christmas Elf by Nora Corbet. I have done three red, - all gifts - and the blue version is the fourth gift. I have also converted Nora Corbet’s Fern to represent the wine grape fairy, that was fun and it is another gift for a friend who has recently planted some wine grapes. I have been looking at the Chatalane patterns ( not sure I spelt that correctly🤨) with a view to a new start in January. Please keep up the good work and the videos, I enjoy them. 😊
@@Jayne22! I had to look up the Christmas Elf since I have never heard of her. I can imagine her in blue, which I think she’ll look lovely. I’m picturing a light grayish blue with some pinks in my mind now lol. Also which Chatelaine have you been eyeing?
@@KT-sq2ml Indian Peacock has been receiving some love since this video. It’s honestly not so intimidating since a good section is tent stitch (the sky). Have you started on Comfort Lighthouse? Yoshi, Thank you for the musical suggestions. I have been a huge musical fan since I was a kid thanks to my dad, and have not kept up with more current musicals for various reasons.
