I'm starting to find more stitching time as Mary the pup is getting a BIT more easy to manage :) I start off the month with plans to do Mill Hills but plans change and A New Dimensions Kit was Started!

Hi. Just found you, not cross stitched for years due to arthritis. but, these kits are gorgeous, I think I may have another go. I could stich for an hour or so, but, never thought about just dong a small section at a time. I am more patient now and think I will get my unfinished things out again and have another crack at it. so glad I found your channel, that Flower market is really special.
Welcome to my channel! I really hope you revisit your stitching. I understand how arthritis can make it unenjoyable but, like you said, just take it a section at a time and enjoy the process!

Aww, thank you! I think when I hear people say they hate long videos, j get paranoid and think I should shorten mine 🤣 But in the end, I do like to ramble so I'll keep them long🥰( I think I edited out at least 30 min from this video when I got carried away 🤣)
Paris market is a beautiful chart. I love stitching houses and building, I have no idea why. The flowers look very tedious though. Good luck. Loved seeing adorable Mary, see you again next month.

Lovely update Christine,I m glad you’re able to get more stitching done these days, don’t apologise for longer videos I could listen to your chat all day… the Paris market is beautiful, you’ve made a lovely start, maybe I’ll get this one at some point. I must look at Mill Hill as haven’t had any new in a while, though I have the ‘Stick’ kits to stitch. Miss Mary is maturing nicely, you have done well by her by putting in the work and getting her training in place, one day she will be a super calm girl and you’ll have plenty of years of joy together. I absolutely love the changed color you made on your to go kit. Brilliant!l I think the purple beads would actually look pretty with the purple heart. Purple and orange is a beautiful combo. But yeah, come to think of it. I think a deep purple is more autumn than the purple that Mel Hill chose for this kit, but we shall see what you did as I continue to watch this. 😊

Thanks Kris! Thanks for stopping by. Yes, I would say Paris Market is stitching up a bit more quickly than I thought it would. Might not be the case for the right half of the design, though :) I think you would enjoy it!
I love how you do your videos now. I like that it is all different days and what you have stitched on. Mary is getting so big and she is such a beautiful dog. I have a Mill Hill Kit called Garden. I am hoping to start it soon. I have never beaded before so that is why I think I have not started it yet. Happy Stitching.
Thank you Linda! I have that kit, too! It looks so fun to stitch. Don't let the beading scare you. Just start by getting all the stitching done and when it comes time to add the beads, you will see it is no big deal...and you will be hooked!

You have come so far with your Paris Market! It looks beautiful! Also a little bit regretting starting at the flowers, the houses have much more details! You got me again, have been eyeing those mill hill frames for months, made my own version but they are not as stable as wood. So I finally picked 2 up! Yeah, I think because I started on the buildings it has kept my stitchy bug going stronger than usual with this project. Now that I'm moving into the tree, we'll see how long I last 🤣

Hi Christine :-)) I just started my first Bucilla stocking doing the Vintage Christmas stocking so far really enjoying it! Like you I love anything vintage also doing a dimensions kit having a lot of fun working on that one as well….I also have purchased stockings for my kids my plan was to do mine first to see if I liked making it so far so good !!!:-))

I have fallen down the Dimensions rabbit hole. I’m starting with one of the Gold minis to test my abilities. Did you know you can email Dimensions to get a pdf of your chart? When I start one of the big ones, I’ll use good notes to track my progress rather than paper copies.
Oooo, fun!! I just recently learned about the PDF chart versions and I actually got one for Paris Market. I was going to give it a try in Markup-R-xp but just haven't tried it yet! I'm sure it would be easier on the eyes!
I’m so glad you’ve been able to stitch more. Your new Dimensions design is stitching up nicely. I like the frozen banana trick to slow down Mary’s eating. What was the name of the “dog toy” you put the food in?
Ah yes, the frozen meals are a game changer. A lot of people like the Kong to fill, but Mary never took to it, but she loves the Toppl by West Paw. Also I also make her frozen treats in a thing called a Woof Pupsicle. There are all kinds of ideas online on what to fill them with. Plain yogurt, kibble (soaked in water) and also different flavors of baby food! She also loves frozen broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, and a variety of fruit straight from the freezer. Honestly, she eat better than my boys 🤣I might do a video about it someday :)
