Hi. Just found you, not cross stitched for years due to arthritis. but, these kits are gorgeous, I think I may have another go. I could stich for an hour or so, but, never thought about just dong a small section at a time. I am more patient now and think I will get my unfinished things out again and have another crack at it. so glad I found your channel, that Flower market is really special.
Welcome to my channel! I really hope you revisit your stitching. I understand how arthritis can make it unenjoyable but, like you said, just take it a section at a time and enjoy the process!
Hi Christine! 👋🏻 I really enjoy your vlog style videos and love seeing Mary in her everyday life. ❤️ I’ve looked at that Paris Flower Market by Dimensions a few times myself and seeing you stitching it makes me think I may need to add it to my stash. It’s so pretty and seems to be stitching up fairly quickly. You’ve made great progress on it. Thanks for sharing your stitching and your puppy with us. 😄
Thanks Kris! Thanks for stopping by. Yes, I would say Paris Market is stitching up a bit more quickly than I thought it would. Might not be the case for the right half of the design, though :) I think you would enjoy it!
Paris market is a beautiful chart. I love stitching houses and building, I have no idea why. The flowers look very tedious though. Good luck. Loved seeing adorable Mary, see you again next month.
Lovely update Christine,I m glad you’re able to get more stitching done these days, don’t apologise for longer videos I could listen to your chat all day… the Paris market is beautiful, you’ve made a lovely start, maybe I’ll get this one at some point. I must look at Mill Hill as haven’t had any new in a while, though I have the ‘Stick’ kits to stitch. Miss Mary is maturing nicely, you have done well by her by putting in the work and getting her training in place, one day she will be a super calm girl and you’ll have plenty of years of joy together. Have a nice week ahead, and a nice June. Looking forward to seeing your next update..enjoy your day today ❤
Hi Sharon! It's always nice to have you stop by! Yes, Mary is going to be worth all the hard work ( and Boy has she been work 🤣), and she is already becoming the sweetest companion. She makes me laugh everyday! Definitely check out the latest Mil Hill releases to see if something strikes your fancy!
Beautiful work on Paris Market, Christine - I have this in my stash and will dream of starting it someday soon! Your puppy is such a sweetie; I know you both enjoy her social times!!🩷
Hi Christine :-)) I just started my first Bucilla stocking doing the Vintage Christmas stocking so far really enjoying it! Like you I love anything vintage also doing a dimensions kit having a lot of fun working on that one as well….I also have purchased stockings for my kids my plan was to do mine first to see if I liked making it so far so good !!!:-))
I love how you do your videos now. I like that it is all different days and what you have stitched on. Mary is getting so big and she is such a beautiful dog. I have a Mill Hill Kit called Garden. I am hoping to start it soon. I have never beaded before so that is why I think I have not started it yet. Happy Stitching.
Thank you Linda! I have that kit, too! It looks so fun to stitch. Don't let the beading scare you. Just start by getting all the stitching done and when it comes time to add the beads, you will see it is no big deal...and you will be hooked!
Hi Christine!! My heart skipped a beat when I saw you uploaded a new video. I love your video's and your projects are just stunning! Paris Market is so beautiful and I think the Lavender fields are beautiful too! I love when you talk a lot! That's when I grab my Wips and start stitching too! Please don't change that because that's why I like your video's so much❤ Love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
Aww, thank you! I think when I hear people say they hate long videos, j get paranoid and think I should shorten mine 🤣 But in the end, I do like to ramble so I'll keep them long🥰( I think I edited out at least 30 min from this video when I got carried away 🤣)
I love this video! Paris Market is beautiful! You have made tons of progress in a short time. The Autumn coffee cup is adorable. I was sitting here watching and had the urge to get Starbucks but they are closed. 😂 Mary was such a good pup for the videos. Looking forward to next month's update!
@@calico_whimsy No, still no Starbucks 😂 My husband did get me a blizzard from Dairy Queen, though. And dummy just sitting here realizing I had Starbucks Pikes Place Keurig cups in the pantry. 😂😂😂😂😂
You have come so far with your Paris Market! It looks beautiful! Also a little bit regretting starting at the flowers, the houses have much more details! You got me again, have been eyeing those mill hill frames for months, made my own version but they are not as stable as wood. So I finally picked 2 up! Now to wait to get them through the mail :) Hope you are feeling better! Happy stitching!
Yeah, I think because I started on the buildings it has kept my stitchy bug going stronger than usual with this project. Now that I'm moving into the tree, we'll see how long I last 🤣 I think you will really love those wood frames! They are very sturdy and very well made!! Happy stitching!
@@calico_whimsy I also starting to sort the horse mill hill kit you showed. Been meaning to start it for some months as a gift to my brothers bonus daughter. :)
Great update, I love your tip for managing your Dimensions floss, I will have to give that a go as they do get messy. I joined you starting Paris Market but have only had one session so far but am hoping to get some more done in June.
I have fallen down the Dimensions rabbit hole. I’m starting with one of the Gold minis to test my abilities. Did you know you can email Dimensions to get a pdf of your chart? When I start one of the big ones, I’ll use good notes to track my progress rather than paper copies.
Oooo, fun!! I just recently learned about the PDF chart versions and I actually got one for Paris Market. I was going to give it a try in Markup-R-xp but just haven't tried it yet! I'm sure it would be easier on the eyes!
I absolutely love the changed color you made on your to go kit. Brilliant!l I think the purple beads would actually look pretty with the purple heart. Purple and orange is a beautiful combo. But yeah, come to think of it. I think a deep purple is more autumn than the purple that Mel Hill chose for this kit, but we shall see what you did as I continue to watch this. 😊
Hi Christine, I just found your channel while looking for Dimensions Twilight's Calm. Really enjoyed your channel. I look forward to seeing you stitch Twilight's Calm and finishing Mill Hill's To Go. I love the orange cup! On another note, if you wouldn't mind sharing where you got the coffee cup needle minder from, I would be eternally grateful! 😍
@@miss_r4in Welcome to my channel! Twilight's calm is such a beautiful design and it just may have to be a start in 2025! I made the needle minder myself from I think a charm or enamel pin I bought somewhere. However, if you search for coffee needle minders on Etsy, you will find some cute ones!
I’m so glad you’ve been able to stitch more. Your new Dimensions design is stitching up nicely. I like the frozen banana trick to slow down Mary’s eating. What was the name of the “dog toy” you put the food in?
Ah yes, the frozen meals are a game changer. A lot of people like the Kong to fill, but Mary never took to it, but she loves the Toppl by West Paw. Also I also make her frozen treats in a thing called a Woof Pupsicle. There are all kinds of ideas online on what to fill them with. Plain yogurt, kibble (soaked in water) and also different flavors of baby food! She also loves frozen broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, and a variety of fruit straight from the freezer. Honestly, she eat better than my boys 🤣I might do a video about it someday :)

Hello Christine. I'm so happy to catch up on your videos again. I loved them. Great progress on Paris Market ❤❤
Hey Judith! So good to hear from you❤️ I miss you on IG and hope you're doing well!!
OMG my mind is blown how you manage the thread for your kit! Why have I never thought of this before. Thank you for making these videos.
🤣🤣Well it's not my original idea, but so happy to share!
I like your chatty, rambly videos. You've made great progress on your Paris piece. It's really pretty. Happy stitching for June.❤
Thank you!! I'll be extra rambly next month ! 🤣
Thanks for the Dimensions kit floss organizing tips. You made such great progress. I am in awe.
