That, and the cutscene at the end of the Olgierd fight in Hearts of Stone (yet to finish Blood And Wine, but I easily expect some epic moments to be there for sure)

I swear, the witcher has some of the best characters in gaming and maybe even in fiction as a whole. I felt a genuine attachment to most of the main characters, and Ciri might've been the best.
I’m playing for the first time cause I got on switch and man I am a fool for not getting this game earlier, This is honestly “THE” best game I have ever touched and played, not only are the voice actors and story give u Immense Emersion but I honestly felt attached not only that I felt Emotionally attached to most of the characters in the game. This is a gem in my book and thank god there is a lot of content so my path awaits great adventure thankfully.

Thanks to Geralt and Avallach and another powerfull fighters and wizards and whole bunch of NIlfgardian and Skellige soldiers, they did not succed. So I dont know what the hell you are talking about :D
Adam Bečvář actually the game never depicts the Hunt being a true threat to Ciri. They are relentless in the pursuit, sure, considering the sheer numbers they are capable to subdue her... But when they are limited by numbers, they became pitiful. Geralt defeated basically the entire hunt by himself, the level of protagonism in the end was just... Sad, lol the story was so well written, but when you discovered the true nature of Ciri's power and know that everyone, friend and foe, are slowing her down, limiting her potential... I felt stupid because my character was not even near as strong than the one I was supposed to protect. It's a feeling similar to Bioshock Infinite, but in Infinite the game delivery a much smoother aprouch to this dilemma. In the Witcher, some things feels disconnected.

Geralt wasn't alone. There was NIflgardian fleet, Crachs men and 10 other powerfull characters. It's true that Ciry is more powerfull then all of them combined , but still very vulnerable and Hunt would kill her, since she has limited control of her powers (the scream that she performed when Hunt almost got her in Kear Morhen was pure luck). I get your point though.
Adam Bečvář Well, in the final sequence the game never shows the true powerfull characters (the sorceress in this case) actually fighting. The combined forces of Nilfgaard and Skilleg was more than enough to hold the Hunt, creating the final scenario of Geralt facing the generals in single combat. Two big holes in the plot if you ask me. The Hunt is described in legends of over a thousand years, those petty soldiers that Geralt and Lambert easily defeats in the outskirts of Kaer Morhen are part of this "legend". Even if Geralt is a powerfull one hundred years old Witcher, its safe to assume that a thousand years old super elf is more than a match to him. If those fights at least ended in a drawn, then I will not bitching about it... But Geralt defeated them way to easily (specially the so called "king of the hunt", who was betrayed by his kind in a simplistic way). The story was top notch until the Kaer Morhen battle, after that the overall level drops a little bit.

I feel like Death March gets easy in the mid/late game. I thought parts of White Orchard were hard as hell and everything after Kaer Morhen was a cakewalk
i loved it how even sidequests gave you more insight on the story itself. the main story was found in, offcourse the main quests, but the small details you could find in sidequests always amazed me... can't even consider them side quests anymore...

I am a big fan of Hunt or be Hunted. Loved when they used it during Ciri's escape with Dandelion on horseback, but this battle theme for here here is right up there with it. Love this too.

Been playing games 25 years and this game is the best of the best in terms of story telling, action and visuals. Bloody Baron quest and associated quests have been by far some of the best story telling I have ever played.
Loved this soundtrack during the fight with the wild hunt at Kaer Morhen. Was genuinely terrified the whole time before the fight. Was a relief they were pretty managable on deathmarch.

A one on one battle, both of them doing everything in their power, without holding back? Cirilla will give Geralt a hard time fighting back, but in my opinion, Ciri will win, most definitely. Geralt may be able to use options and be physically stronger than her, not including the fact his sword techniques are far superior to her's, but it's still just not enough compared to her full powers. She can't only just teleport, she literally has super powers, might say, straight outta comics. And with the training with Avallac'h? Ciri will win. No question.
I actually took a look at the ciri combat sequences (velen novigrad skellige) and they all sound different. Each one is amplified and cooler than the last until they lead up to the Caranthir fight with the singing. It's really cool because ciri is all charged up and so is the music. Nice details put in by devs
The moment I played a s ciri against the wolves and tried to dodge... That speed blitz made my heart explode and I started to love ciri more than any other female game character I have ever played with❤
She goes berserk at the end! When she jumps down where a bunch of eredin's forces are, she is suddenly sporting a greenish aura, it's like oh man shes not just pissed, she's learnt to control her power

Playing as Ciri makes you feel so powerful, you literally can't be touched, phase-shifting through enemies, it's great.
But playing as Geralt is more badass, a witcher, powerful, dancing in the shadow of death itself in the fury of claws and steel clashing...

Loved this soundtrack during the fight with the wild hunt at Kaer Morhen. Was genuinely terrified the whole time before the fight. Was a relief they were pretty managable on deathmarch.

I probably say ciri is stronger. Since she has a super power, even geralt is sword technique is greater, more experienced, and has a vast knowledge about monster I think ciri will win

A one on one battle, both of them doing everything in their power, without holding back? Cirilla will give Geralt a hard time fighting back, but in my opinion, Ciri will win, most definitely. Geralt may be able to use options and be physically stronger than her, not including the fact his sword techniques are far superior to her's, but it's still just not enough compared to her full powers. She can't only just teleport, she literally has super powers, might say, straight outta comics. And with the training with Avallac'h? Ciri will win. No question.

I actually took a look at the ciri combat sequences (velen novigrad skellige) and they all sound different. Each one is amplified and cooler than the last until they lead up to the Caranthir fight with the singing. It's really cool because ciri is all charged up and so is the music. Nice details put in by devs

My god. This game man...it was just wow. Best game ever made. Best characters, best music, best cutscene (kaer morhen battle was top top). 10/10 for ever. The expansions were absolutely perfect. Wish I could marry CD project.
