I mean his O-line is holding him up and a player has his hand up looking to the Colts' sideline while pointing at Hines. I don't think the Broncos med staff coming over was the reason he didn't get to play it off.
@@kmitchell9891 They were part of the reason. Dolphins med staff would've just watched and done nothing. Broncos med staff jumped in. Seeing how Tua's case was handled, all med staff are on their toes now, whether it's for their players or the opponent.

@Jayrome still doesn’t hurt to give an attaboy when appropriate
No it is honer for them being the closest to him and going to help in time of need no matter what team or uniform your wearing. That is the true spirit of the game.
Except when you play for the dolphins as QB
Then it doesn't matter
It’s a life long injury and symptoms don’t show for a long time.
Huge Respect to the Denver Medical staff, their quick reaction might have saved him from further long term damage. As a Dolphins fan, after what happened to Tua, you really start to understand how much a persons Health outweighs the importance of the game.
As a football fan, after Tua, nothing has changed for me. I hate seeing ppl get hurt but it’s apart of the game. Not just that, Tua was fine at the beginning of the last game he played. He his the softest least protected part of his head on the ground violently. Even if he didn’t get his bell wrung the week before the same thing would’ve happened. We gotta stop demanding something be done after an injury. What do we want ppl to get hurt once and it be their career because that’s what it comes off as after every big hit these days.
@hungus chungus You didn't understand his comment.
Seeing his legs going like that is scary....hope the dude is ok. Well done to all staff being so quick to assist.

The amount of injuries this season are scary. Like a lot of nasty injuries.

Hope you don't mind: I've been asking Christians recently why they pray *after* someone is hurt and don't pray *beforehand* that no-one will be hurt. The Bible says everything a believer prays for will come true, so why don't any of you guys prevent these injuries? Thanks.
@@SpeckleKen hey its ok, you don't think prayer works that's fine. It's not foolproof. If that was the case everyone be walking around like a genie granted them 3 wishes, everyone would have a trillion dollars in their pocket. Every heard of ppl getting hurt then discovering cancer in the area? Different things happen
@@userknonothing Thanks, You, but you believe the opposite of what Jesus said over and over in the Gospels (more than he said anything else?): that prayer *_is_* foolproof, e.g.
_”Ask and _*_it will_*_ be given to you.. For everyone who asks receives.”_ [Matt 7:7-8].
So my question to any *Christian*: why not prevent these injuries? Thanks.
@@SpeckleKen "foolproof" not in the actual verse.. maybe your interpretation. Your sole interpretation also not the foolproof meaning of the verse. One doesn't have to receive exactly what they are asking for.. in the exact timing/way they want it.. to receive answers responses or blessings from prayer. Ask and pray to God to protect you in a Football game one could still get hurt.. then off to spend more time with family? Find cancer in the body? Help shift and focus perspective onto other things.. an injury could be shitty and bad all the way around depending on situation.. perspective. Can also open the door to other amazing different things in time. If you don't get hurt via praying about it or not saying a prayer in your life then the plan lies ahead. God speed
@@userknonothing
Actually, no! It is not my interpretation: Jesus *did* say in the Gospels that everything prayed for by a believer would happen! You may not like that Jesus said this but be did, and he said it over and over:
_“If you believe, you will receive _*_whatever_*_ you ask for in prayer."_ [Jesus in Matt 21:22]
_”For everyone who asks receives.”_ [Jesus, when asked about prayer, Luke 11:9-10]
_”Ask and _*_it will_*_ be given to you... For everyone who asks receives.”_ [Jesus teaching prayer, Matt 7:7-8]
_”You may ask me for _*_anything_*_ in my name, and I will do it.”_ [Jesus in John 14:14]
_”Therefore I tell you, _*_whatever_*_ you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”_ [Jesus in Mark 11:24]
Etc., etc.
In saying that "one doesn't have to receive exactly what they are asking for" you are saying that *your interpretation* is _either_ that Jesus lied _or_ the Gospel writers misquoted him. Is either of those not a problem for someone calling himself "Christian"?
Loved that the Broncos staff was there for him. That's real sportsmanship. Respect 🙌🏽
Sportsmanship is like when the winner and loser both congratulate each other on a game well played. This is just basic human decency. We’re they supposed to just stand and watch because he’s on the other team, orrr?

The concussions this year really highlight that they happen and can be extremely serious even without major hits directly to the head. The brain isn't strapped in, it'll move with hit force and slam into the skull.
He wasn’t even hit in the head
@Lee no he didn't, put it at 0.25 speed, he gets hit in both shoulders, he turns while falling and his head hits the ground hard jerking it left. It's whiplash+concussion
@Lee - What hit are you watching? Because there most definitely wasn't any contact to the head of the ball-carrier
@Lee it was ruled that he sustained a concussion - you don't need to be hit directly in the head to be concussed
its not always a big hit. A lot of the times it is a buildup of smaller collisions
Damn, that hit didn't even _look_ bad, but the effects, wow! Kudos for everyone's quick response.
Makes me happy to know that the medical staff looks out for both teams.

@@bradd5112 When he went down the first time, I didn't think it looked that bad, but his inability to walk normally was a big clue that it was serious. But then they put him back in the game in the 3rd quarter "because he was showing no concussion signs". I didn't see it when it happened, it was when I heard about it on Sportscenter and what I saw just screamed out to me that he needed to be in a hospital. THEN when it happened again 5 days later and we saw his fingers all contorted, that is a horrible neurological sign of a brain injury. Heads should roll and the doctors who were involved with this should not just be fired, but lose their license as well. Their motto is to "harm no one" in short terms. Damn! What's going on with all these crazy injuries as of late? Pretty scary for just playing a GAME of football
Prime video
What do you mean “just” it’s been like this since forever
It’s always been like this it’s just getting highlighted now. That’s what media does. Just like with politics and other agendas such as BLM
Damn man... scary stuff
Props to the broncos training staff being there super quick and got hands on him.
Hope he's okay, but RIP Everyone who started Hines in Fantasy this week (me).
Yep damnit !!!!
Me too. FML! lol hope he's recovers well though.
Hope he’s ok 🙏
Hoping not going to do anything the damage already done
Sometimes you are the hammer. Sometimes you are the nail.
Crazy to think 30 years ago. It was “he just got his bell rung” or “he has to get the cob webs out”. Back within a week
He got hit hard hope he’s ok
Bruh I started him in fantasy. Hope he’s okay
Me too but honestly I don’t care about that anymore. After Tua situation last thing I wanna see is that happen to another player
About time coaches from either team start helping these players concussions have became unfortunately popular injury right now and these are life threatening for some. Respect for the broncos staff seeing that and stopping him from trying to play it off
Damn it doesn't look like a blow to the helmet that would cause a concussion but what else would make someone struggle to walk like that?
pinched nerve maybe
It was a side impact that his head wasn’t expecting. Back and side of head affects motor function like that.
Every body is just different, maybe he was dizzy, maybe it was a concussion
Blows to the body can cause concussions too since the brain will shift due to inertia
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a hit towards the helmet. It could just be the force from that hit that is transmitted throughout his entire body. The energy of the hit probably was got transmitted to head through his body. Just some physics 101.
I'd say just a back injury!
Really scary to see. I hope he recovers alright.
Didn't seem like that bad of a hit. I sure hope everything turns out for this young man.
Sometimes it's the ones that don't look that bad that do the most damage.
@@winstonsmith11 the brain isn't locked in place, when you are moving fast enough and your body is brought to an abrupt stop your brain slams into your skull.
Neither did the hit that killed Dale Earnheart, it's not always the bad ones that do the damage, it's all in how or where.
@@jasonhester727 I dunno man, that crash looked vicious as hell. Going that quick around the circuit and suddenly slamming into the wall head on? A crash at 60mph can be fatal, but a crash in a NASCAR race? I'm not sure how quick he was going but I'm sure it was far more than 60mph.
What's going on with these head injuries all a sudden causing this "stumble drunk reaction"? That is some scary shit to see!
SNAKE BITE.
I’m just here to like the comments about Broncos trainers being lightning fast to help! So classy! Rest up and get better, Hines!
Idk if it’s the new helmets but it seems EVERY game some one is getting dazed.
It kinda looked like he got hit in the back of the head which can heavily affect your vision. Happened to me in high school and the vision in my right eye was rotated 90 degrees. I about threw up on the spot.
It could be the helmets
