I thought Laverneous Coles was the first one to mix it up, by saying his high school instead of Florida State. And I thought that he didn't say Florida State because he and FSU teammate Peter Warrick accepted sneakers in violation of NCAA rules, but FSU punished him more than Warrick because Warrick was a bigger star on the team. In any case, how is Cris Carter credited with starting the trend when the official name is The Ohio State University?
@@awprc he would go into all the details lol, he started his Miami press announcement by not saying anything for a couple of minutes and then yelling at the reporters for missing their chances to break into rapping Will Smith's "welcome to Miami" . One of a kind he is.
My son met Jamaal Williams a couple months ago and they were trading Pokémon cards lol. Jamal signed one of his cards and got my son to sign one for him 😂 great dude
Antonio Smith of the Texans once introduced himself from the Shaolin Temple. Also, in the same game, four of the five starting offensive linemen said their elementary schools and the one that didn’t actually got fined for not saying it.
I was NFL bound until them Sebring Lightning bolt boys took out my knees in the Heartland Championship game of the 7th grade Junior high school round of 64 in 1997. Them good ole days as the running back for them Hardee Junior High Wildcats.
I feel like it was a missed opportunity for them to get a little cheeky about Marshawn Lynch's period of abstinence from the media, it would've been hilarious if they brought back the Clutch Cargo for him, like they did the Broncos O-line. Also: I'm waiting for one of the players to be brave enough to say they come from Bishop Sycamore.
It would have been hilarious if Marshawn Lynch during his intro would have said. "Marshawn Lynch, I'm here so I don't get fined."...😂😂😂😂 Given the fact that Marshawn does not like doing press conferences or post game scrums with the media.
This was a very good in-depth to the Fans From the Players. It gave people a understanding of what type of player you were based off your school, and as fans if it was a school we like/ went to, that player became someone of a fav... I remember this so clearly, i always loved the beginning of the game. 🏈 💯
justin pugh was the best one i ever saw. i didn't know who he was or the backstory, so when i heard that, i immediately googled it and found out what was going on.
I would agree, this season feels very very different than the past. It centers on what I remember from the 80s ... we knew the players. Remember when Chicago and other teams had music videos. Seeing the players under the helmets makes it feel far more connected and excited to watch. Teams aren't just big name QBs ... Absolutely love this!
Honestly really surprised the No Fun League hasn’t cracked down on this. Seems they love to take all personality and fun out of the players in every other way but at least this tradition still flies.
It's not just league owners and executives - a lot of fans don't like this, celebration dances, etc. Those fans are dying off, and most younger fans like to see players having fun doing things like this. But for the league, it's also a matter of how many fans are on either side, how much money they have, how much money they spend on the NFL, and what the corporate sponsors and TV execs think about it.
@@loki2240 I’m not sure you’re exactly right there, my friend. Don’t you remember the crazy celebrations guys like T.O. would do back 25+ years ago? Stuff they do today is incredibly tame in comparison, and a lot of rules have been made to discourage celebrations since then. I might agree with you if you had said that to me 20+ years ago, but I think the vast majority of fans today love this kind of stuff. Most of the fuddy-duddies are already dead lol. No one today complains about stuff like this at all, man.
Hawks fan here: By "best in the nation", does Adams mean he's the best at giving up huge plays by being out of position, getting blown out when he is in position, or at being injured? By far our worst sign in a long time.
“Kris Jenkins, this jersey is too tight” is an all time line 😂😂
Ikr that one killed me 😂
That one caught me for sure lmao. I love it
And these t shirts are too small, Billy!!
That was my favorite also. 😂
Was absolutely not expecting that, made me burst out laughing lmao
Tony Gonzalez's Scarface intro is my favorite. I remember laughing so hard at it when I was watching it live.

This was phenomenal, need more NFL films content like this. Just needed a cameo from Key and Peele doing their player introduction skit.
While the producer should definitely get credited. I wouldn't mind if key and Peele hosted this short film
They should do head coaches. Imagine a mike mcdaniels one vs belichick 😂

Terrell Suggs "Ball so hard University" is the best one 😂🔥
Honestly still feels weird not hearing “Sizzle, Ball So Hard University” whenever the ravens are on primetime
Body built by Taco Bell - Judon
“I’m Tony Gonzales/ Myles Garret?” will always make me laugh 😂
"Dammit! Who typed a question mark on the teleprompter?! For the last time anything you put on that prompter, Burgundy will read!"
Not including Judon’s “Body built by Taco Bell” is nuts
Exactly, that was the best one!
Didn’t Jamie Sharper back in his Ravens days always introduce his school as “University…OF VIR-GI-NIA!!!”
Jamal Williams really loves to show off his love for anime and I’m here for it. I wish I could meet him in person.
5:03 If you let your imagination run wide, that IS Jordan Peele in character 😂
Not including Antwaan Randle El should be a federal crime.

hes got a lawsuit against the NFL so the league probably feels some type of way about him lmao
I was pretty much just about to type that word for word, until I saw your comment. 😂
