This is what makes the S2000 feel so good, low down power and torque. We do the Hondata K-Pro for a super OEM feel and plenty of usable features you need.

Ballade sports now makes plug and play wiring kit for kpro for 00-05 s2k’s. No need to change any sensors or valve cover.

Hey John, you should look into the "Rain H8r" valve cover mod for your clients who want it.
Also I made a Delrin cap for my LHT master cylinder brace to make sure it didn't scratch up the master.
I do like the cooling plate airbox you guys made for this car, the water drains are a nice touch. I do think a LHT plate with a duct would be awesome too!

Ok Jon you got me intrigued with that turbo package. Down the road when the Scat Pack is paid for, I could see getting that package on a S2k with two differences. Quiet blow valve and a much more robust exhaust note. For me that would be..perfect, massive torque, plenty of over rev, but got to have a distinct exhaust note that exceeds tire noise without drone on the hwy. Just music when the top is down for me. Once again..well done guys👍
You can hear the exhaust when you get in it heavy, but it’s not overwhelming. We’re constantly trying to get no compromise packages.
@@LHTPerformance Jon: Your meticulous and you know I used to crawl under the white car to clean that custom exhaust you built for it right? I just like it louder than your typical exhausts now. Not annoying loud, but we have time before I have an S2k build budget again. The best thing about the Scat Pack I have now. Deliciously loud at WOT and perfectly quiet cruising around town or on the hwy. 👍
I just switched over to kpro from aem. I also have that weird “drone” sound coming from the engine. I hear it in this video... is that a kpro thing? Almost sounds like it comes from the radiator or my sc but i didnt have it before with aem
Best wings = slightly overcooked and lightly coated with S2000 finger grease :) Side note, good on that guy for tossing the knock off and buying the real thing. I love mine and nice one handed dumpster shot. Lol!

Just about to sell my S2000 down here in NZ , it is a 2009 model with only 13,000 miles (22,000km)on it . I think if I lived in America I would keep it an let LHT go to town with their turbo package on it .
Great video guys! Could you share the link to the Coolant funnel that you guys use? It looks like it secures to the radiator like a cap would? Then when you remove it does it not spill out the bottom?

When you guys do clutch master cylinder replacements, do you recommend replacing the slave as well or is it okay to just do the master?
We don’t often see the slave cylinder fail, we keep in stock but sell many.

There is some quieter options if needed.

What's your take with ballade sports plug and play harness for kpro for s2000? I think you don't need to replace the sensors and valve cover. It will run on stock 00-05 plug and play with factory sensors
I’ve never used it, I haven’t seen anyone I k ow have first experience either. I don’t like experimenting.

its crazy. it sound so quiet and smooth. although the spoiler and wide body is not my taste
It desperately screams fast and furious ricer boy. I dont like it either but to each their own. I prefer a subtle simple look, sleeper if you will. Body kits like these with an oversize wing is just a waste of money imo.

Should there be a difference Hot vs Cold level?
At normal operating temperature, I would look to have the oil level to the second dot ( higher dot ).

Are the trans bell housing bolts the same length?
No, 2 different lengths for the larger bolts with 17mm heads and then 2 smaller bolts from the trans to the pan with 14mm heads.

That lack of purge is probably why those welds fail on that exhaust.

Hi, just wanted to respond on the brakes topper on 7:50. You are showing one of the early models from back in the days. It was 3mm steel and could flex a little bit. It was replaced by a stronger 5mm version. I have never seen it bent this way. But I do noticed you are comparing it with your model. Daan
