S2000 diff built for LHT Performance PuddyMod Stage2 4.44

what does it cost to have an S2000 differential rebuilt and painted? - or just painted. I could get LHT to take it out. Why would I want to change the gear ratio to 4.44? faster off the line, or faster top end?

How do you feel about the studs that are used for the bearing cap that take up that factory slack?

I have had a few failed rears in my shop with studs installed. I will be working on one again in a up coming video. The stuff I have seen is not good. I have videos posted you can watch. In my opinion studs are not a help and the ones I have seen are not any good.

The 4.44 is a bit faster acceleration than stock
So does that mean the engine rpm would be higher cruising on the highway?

Yes, a few hundred higher it’s not that bad. Definitely manageable.

I've got an 02 ap1 250,000 miles original diff, I change the fluid every 15k, and use 75w140,would love to try one of your diffs when mine gives up the ghost

Ben you still recommend 75w140 in all your diff builds? or does that even go for stock diffs now days ?

Yes, 75/140 is the standard for most all differentials
