- Today we're going on the first kayak fishing field trip of 2021 to a place called Princess Place Preserve in Palm Coast, Florida. It's low tide, and although we might catch a redfish or two, let's see if we can get 2021 started off right and put some flounder in the kayak.

I will be there in 2 weeks, June 9-19th, for the first time. Family vacation but I will be kayak fishing several early mornings and one of your other subscribers (John) told me to look you up. I've been loving the content and your easy, but very helpful tips. It would be awesome to see you or even better to share the water one morning while I'm down there. Hoping to take home some flounder for my daughter, some trout & reds for myself and REALLY hoping to catch a snook for the first time.

I live in Jax and have been kayak fishing since 2005. Fished PPP a year ago with good luck. Low tide makes it tough with pedal drives. Gold spoon was the ticket...

I just got a Hobie Compass and went to PPP after watching your video which was very helpful. I know you have a stake out pole, but I’m wondering what length you choose since I see we generally gosh the same kind of waters. I’m using a home made one right now. I really enjoy your videos and especially how carefully you handle the fish. I hope to see you on the water someday. Keep the videos coming!

Thanks. They make high quality gear by far! I need to get the kick up fins but I'm holding out for an upgrade option. I have the 2019 Compass.... the 2020 version came with kick up fins.
@@KayakFishingAddict going from the Solo Skiff to the Hobie PA 14 with 360 drive is day and night different. The only thing I've experienced with the kick up fins is they dont always reset all the way and you get a slight tapping as they pass each other. I just pull the drive and manually reset them. Doesn't bother me a bit!

Love them! Thanks for the recommendation. I did have to get warranty service on one though and I might be experiencing the same issue on my second one....but the jury is still out on that...that said, the reels are awesome and I've had less issues with them than any other I've tried!
