I'm glad you enjoyed it Edward. I totally agree, these jigs surprised me at how effective they were and what a beautiful craft for those who can tie them!
I really enjoy your channel. I have the same kayak as you that I use in high elevation Rocky Mountain lakes, mostly for trout and bass. Thanks to you, I was able to mount my Garmin using a Home Depot conduit clamp, build a kayak cart to easily load into my truck bed, and found the perfect fish bag cooler. I also used some of your other gear ideas using links from your website. Thanks again for everything and keep up the great work!
Hi Jay. Thank you very much for your kind words. I’m super glad that you got some discounts using my links and that you found good recommendations in my videos. Welcome to the channel!
Another great vid. I too love the drone angle gives a nice perspective. That's a beautiful bucktail maybe try it with a chartreuse curly tail grub? Tight lines!
Ron, you alway's do a great job, showing us how to fish a new bait. You research it, and I've alway's watched you put different species, in the boat. Great job, and awsome to watch. 🙏 😎 🎣
Is any one else screaming at the screen? when the two fish popped the surface near the yak (get a line in the water fast!) Beautiful drone footage of 🐬 dolphin.Your videos have such a professional artistic look🏆🥇🏅Delicious looking trout Sir!
I love my Bucktail jigs but mine are bigger not to brag I swear😉 but the smaller ones would make sense to catch way more...and your gifted ones look dang amazing! Dang Red inhaled that jig fast! Great video as always and Snook are so much fun!
Your videos are so good! They just fly by and I’m always blown away by the quality and the info you provide. Those jigs look a lot like the flies my husband uses for reds when we are in FL. Also-that marsh is gorgeous! It doesn’t look like Jax; did you go south a bit?
I'm glad you enjoy the videos. I've been trying to improve the production quality so it's good to know that you noticed. This was filmed in the Ormond Beach, FL marsh about an hour south of Jax.
@@KayakFishingAddict You’re doing a great job! Thanks for the info; my parents used to live in Daytona but I never knew Ormond had a marsh system! It’s stunning, I’ll have to check it out when I’m back!
Great video and great catches! I have been off the water for over a month taking care of some business im California so it was nice to see some NE Florida Kayak fishing footage. When I get back in a few weeks I am going to have to hit Jesse up for some bucktails 😀
Glad to see a video from you. I will be coming down in a few weeks for about two weeks. Looking for place to buy around Edgewater area. Looking forward to fishing.
I was fishing in NSB yesterday and thought I saw you! Anyway… I didn’t catch squat! I was using a mirrolure and DOA shrimp. Can’t seem to have luck in the ICW with artificial lures.
Hi Zach, it wasn't me...sorry to disappoint. I'm working through a health issue that's keeping me off the water for now...I'll be back soon though! Sorry you didn't catch anything. Sometimes it's very tough in the heat of Summer to catch fish....they get lethargic.
That's my light rod and reel. You can see my gear at gear.KayakFishingAddict.com ... that said, it's a normal weighted jig head so I'm sure most setups can cast it. It just takes some tuning with the baitcaster to dial it in. I tend to keep my setups loose and thumb the spool to control the cast.
Where do you place your remote for the drone while you’re fishing?, I’ve never taken it because I simply wouldn’t know where to put it without getting it wet
That is a challenge. It's currently either slightly tucked under my seat on a towel or on the seat. I'm thinking about a ziplock bag left open might be best...also possibly something on the back of my chair. It's evolving.
my friend calls the snook: the "apex predator", and with emphasis.... and he is right. For it's body, the snook seems to have oversized fins, oversized mouth and gill plates, eyes, body design/coloring. ...more speed and more endurance.. LOVE THE SNOOK.. but smaller ones.. those big/giant ones are beasts!!!
Hey man I've run into you a few times around flagler, high bridge, and princess place. I make my own soft plastic paddletails and jerkbaits from aluminum molds. Me and my girlfriend would love to give you a few next time I run into you. I've caught a few snook reds and my biggest flounder on them. What's you're favorite lure colors?
@@KayakFishingAddict that's awesome yeah I wasn't sure if you use the leader with your artificials or not do you tie it to your main line or use a swivel it's hard to see in some of your videos but I'm sure it's there somewhere
LOL - I won’t take it the wrong way. Unfortunately over a week ago my drone dove into the water. Just got the replacements back from DJI so I’m good to go. Went out today but the conditions were horrible. Oh, and those 8 minutes take a long time to produce :). But I hear you! Thanks.

They certainly are fun to catch. Very aggressive at times.
For trout the rules say that you may possess one over 19 inches per vessel. Just FYI.
