Inaccuracies I've seen: 0:19 - The British Paratroopers do not have kit bags (aka leg bags) when in fact, they were the most experienced in jumping with it. 0:23 - Henry Baker's uniform looks weird in that it resembles a jumpsuit rather than using the Denison Smock that British Paratroopers would normally use. 0:32 - That is a patch of the 1st Allied Airborne Army which was only formed by August 1944 prior to Operation Market Garden, not Overlord. 2:01 - In a few frames, you see an M1 Garand which is impossible considering that they never went into circulation within the British Army. A more plausible weapon would have been the Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk. 1. 2:32 - If Arthur did have a leg bag when he jumped, there is a guarantee that he wouldn't be unarmed upon landing. Plus, it would have been great to explore how the leg bag would have been properly utilized as it was practically notorious for coming off after US paratroopers hit the prop blast upon jumping. 3:29 - The Stahlhelm insignia should not illustrate the German national colors. German High Command mandated against this by March 21, 1940. 4:43 - Arthur does not empty the full clip into the Kar98K. 4:47 - Almost all enemies seem to rank as Unterfeldwehbels or Sergeants. 5:35 - MP40 never had drum mags, only dual mags. But then again this is just Activision porting multiplayer mechanics into the campaign. 5:47 - It's true that the Kar98K had experimental trench magazines but loading the ammunition still required use of stripper clips. 7:24 - Germans in this game, no matter the period, seem to wear greatcoats, which is ironic considering that June 1944 is hardly winter. 7:37 - Webley IV is named Top Break though I assume this is due to copyright claims. 11:28 - There were only 100 Becker Revolving shotguns made but seeing this shotgun in German use is hardly possible since there were no shotgun units in the Wehrmacht. 13:51 - it is much more likely to see a Fairbarn-Sykes knife than a brass-knuckles Trench knife since the former was widely issued to Commandos, Parachute Regiment, SBS, and SAS. 15:18 - the M1918 BAR was used by the British, specifically its Home Guard units. A more accurate LMG would be the Bren Light Machine Gun. 15:25 - The real Merville Battery wasn't situated off a cliff, rather it was surrounded by grasslands and would probably be already zeroed on the beach. Tactically speaking, it would be unwise to put artillery by the cliffside knowing that the gun emplacements would be exposed to offshore bombardment from battleships. 16:30 - The real life account of the assault on the Merville Battery said that the paratroopers had to make do with Gammon grenades and plastic explosives. No Thermite grenades were used. 19:01 - The Nydar Model 47 sight was introduced after 1945 so it's presence here is anachronistic 20:15 - STG 44 was real but it first saw action in the Eastern Front. 21:15 - apparently the Germans are doing a Banzai charge when they have perfect cover. 23:40 - The battery guns should have been Czechoslovakian World War I-era 100mm field howitzers (Skoda houfnice vz 14/19) 26:31 - There was no offshore artillery to bombard the casemates since it was only a contingency measure should the paratroopers fail to capture the battery by 0500. 28:00 - What actually happened was the paratroopers had to withdraw after trying to disable the guns with limited small arms. Shortly after the Germans retook the position, two of the artillery guns were still operational and the battery itself would remain in German control until 17 August when the Germans would have to withdraw.

The battery site layout is almost completely flat as well considering the fact that the British landed gliders on the site as well. But try it out from the bench and that shoulder feels every shot. It's the closest thing to a shotgun. The German used 200gr ish rounds while other rifles used 150-170gr. It's still fun to shoot em though. I'll always have a love for the Mauser.

I think the inclusion of this character is pretty cool considering the historical significance of the real life inspiration.
@The One but where is the "over representation" in this part of the campaign?? You have one black soldier based on a real life person featuring in a story regarding the battle of Normandy. Yes many African/Carribean soldiers served as labourers or in support roles but a portion also served in combat roles so what is the issue about seeing these stories. They were talking about historical accuracy at some point and clearly they just couldn’t care less or the people designing the weapons know little to nothing about the guns at the time
I agree like I didn’t see a single American paratrooper.
Also they tried to make the Kar 98 like the trench weapon on BF1 like the medic weapon semi automatic with extended mag. The Selbstlader 1906
The 20 round detachable magazine for the kar98 is a real thing that was issued, maybe you need to study up on accuracy.

They really need to Remaster or Remake the Very first Call of Duty, because some of the Levels on the CoD 1 are very good and Memorable Especially the Volga River Crossing, imagine it with this Graphics
I don’t think they want to remaster anything aside from what we got with MW1 and 2.
If the female sniper teaser demo is also based on Palevlona from the era of the first trio of CoD games, this is good enough.
They should remaster WAW. The campaign for that game was a brutal and harrowing depiction of the war.
They need to remake Big Red One. This game was supposed to be a spin off of COD2 for the older gen consoles but ended up better than the original game lmao. The story + characters were the best in all WW2 shooters I played during the PS2 era.
Just remaster the whole war chest games + old console Cods for pc would be nice.
Inaccuracies I've seen:
0:19 - The British Paratroopers do not have kit bags (aka leg bags) when in fact, they were the most experienced in jumping with it.
19:01 - The Nydar Model 47 sight was introduced after 1945 so it's presence here is anachronistic
20:15 - STG 44 was real but it first saw action in the Eastern Front.
21:15 - apparently the Germans are doing a Banzai charge when they have perfect cover.
23:40 - The battery guns should have been Czechoslovakian World War I-era 100mm field howitzers (Skoda houfnice vz 14/19)
26:31 - There was no offshore artillery to bombard the casemates since it was only a contingency measure should the paratroopers fail to capture the battery by 0500.
28:00 - What actually happened was the paratroopers had to withdraw after trying to disable the guns with limited small arms. Shortly after the Germans retook the position, two of the artillery guns were still operational and the battery itself would remain in German control until 17 August when the Germans would have to withdraw.

No equipment check when hooking their chutes and by the looks of it there were no seats by the door for the jumpmaster so he basically stood there the whole plane ride lol

Band of Brothers for research? LMAO, Stephen Ambrose is a notorious hack, you may as well get your research from Alex Jones!
15:13 the game devs clearly never did much research about the actual site of the Merville battery. Its further inland than that and there's no cliffs in the area along the coast, its all flat beach with small sand dunes behind them. The parachute scene was so inaccurate. There are these things called "jump commands" or the commands said by the jumpmaster. He just said three of them which is "Stand up", "Hooks on" and "standby" where in fact there are 8 basic jump commands and Activision didnt even bother to add them.If you are wondering here are the basic jump commands:
RED LIGHT-Signalling approach to the LZ (Landing Zone)
STAND UP- Signalling to stand up
HOOKS ON- Signalling to hook on the cable
EQUIPMENT CHECK- Signalling to check equipment and weapons
SOUND OFF- Signalling to do a head count from the back of the line
ONE AT THE DOOR- Signalling to prepare for the jump
GREEN LIGHT- Signalling arrival at the LZ (Landing zone)
GOGOGO- Signalling to jump immediately (This may vary across jumpmasters)
Although this may vary, Activision didnt even bother to add something similar to this
Edit: These are the jump commands for the 101st airborne 506th Infantry regiment
Maybe they only heard the old airborne cadence "Stand up, hook up, shuffle to the door" and said "Yep, that´ll work. XD
Those are American jump commands, why the fuck would the British be using them?

@@bradshaw2244 Did the race baiting portrayal of the 93rd not come to your liking? Strange. I thought gamers loved being patronised to...
@@reddeadbret4218 now I did like the mission(this one) my point is I think including minorities in the ww2/ww1 could be done better than it has been done in this generation
@@bradshaw2244 Well black British and black African/Carribean soldiers served in British units during WW2. There was a Black paratrooper who dropped into Normandy called Sidney Cornell (who inspired this character) with the 7th parachute battalion so you're simply incorrect here. Obviously diversity is a big part of this game but in all honesty I don't really see an issue about shining a light on certain groups who have not been included in previous WW2 games.
Also the COD franchise is not an accurate depiction of WW2, they're fictional stories which are meant to entertain so if you really want to learn about how WW2 was won read a book lol. World at War is considered a great COD game but is equally as over the top and unrealistic as vanguard so whats the issue really?
Nice headshots bro!
Please make part 5 to the walkthrough! I’ve been binging it lol
Arthur: We've got a job to do
Bell: I'm sorry what?
After reading the comments regarding historical innacuracy, this gave me an idea, why not add a Search Light Killstreak that you place down like a Sentry Gun and it tracks and blinds enemies in it's line of sight, also can be used manually to spot enemies, planes. If anyone can send this to Activision, that'd be great.
What they need to do is add an AI soldier on a machine gun so it's like the sentry gun
At 00:32 one of the paras has a patch on his sleeve for the 1st Allied Airborne Army. That unit wasn't formed until August 1944.
They took the jump scene straight out of overlord
yea haha
i love the scene when arthur kingsley throws his cigarette
