I can spot a lot of things wrong with this level, in terms of historical accuracy: El Alamein was in 1942. The Sturmgewehr 44 was made in 1944. Of course, there was the MKb42, but Hitler scrapped that project. Since this in North Africa, it should be the Italians the British and Australians should be fighting. I can forgive them having some German units, but this isn’t correct because of historical accuracy. The Volkssturmgewehr wasn’t made in 1942, it was made in 1945 as it was a last ditch weapon. I can see them being used in the prologue and epilogue, since those missions take place in Berlin 1945. The Panzerfaust is a fire-and-throw away weapon. One thing I am very bothered with is that the Germans are using shotguns. (The Einhorn.) I’m sorry, I thought the Germans tried to ban them in WW1 and WW2. And for Christ’s sake, El Alamein is a tank battle. You’d expect that Lucas would spend most of the mission in a tank. The Rambo shit isn’t accurate.

@@christopherwang4392 personally I've never heard of this. I guess it's possible. I just finished the game and even though the campaign is fun, they didn't even bother with the historic accuracy and the diversity does seem forced at some moments, Arthur being the leader of the group didn't make any sense, nor him being accepted as the leader in D-day, but I love the way they put the segregated 93rd infantry division into the game, through it is also history inaccurate, the diversity didn't feel forced and they showcased an important part of ww2 often overlooked by historical media. @@RyuNoRizz Pamzerfaust was a latewar stopgap AT weapon. It was rocket propelled, but the fuel burned so quickly it flared for a portion of a second and just glided the rest of the way. At the same time it was being considered, they also considered a grenade you just throw because they both have about the same effective range. They were not accurate to any meaningful distance. The Germans had an 88mm rocket artillery weapon in 1943 that was extremely non-portable. It took the same kind of power to tow it as it did to tow an actual AT gun. Eventually they copied the bazooka (yes, the Germans copied the American bazooka) and came up with the panzershrek, one of the most sensible AT weapons at the time.
I don't get why they can't even get the models of the guns right. The No.4 Mk1 he is using has the sight modelled wrong. The rear sight should be an aperture with a flip up ladder sight. Also, the Lee's had 10 round mags, but your guy never loads it beyond five. Plus, the metal on the gun is way too shiny. The rifles had a blackened finish that didn't reflect light. I own a 1942 Long Branch No.4 Mk I*, and it does not shine like this one does. Further, it would be more likely for the British to have No. 1 rifles in North Africa. I can spot a lot of things wrong with this level, in terms of historical accuracy:
El Alamein was in 1942.
Other thing is they fucked up the Lee Enfield it holds 10 rounds that magazine is not for show mate, it has a full circle sight, you do not NEED to zoom out to chamber a new round you can chamber while still looking down sights and what is with the engravings on the wood

Nah, they are all just stupid and don't know how to load 10 at a time
@@poniedzialek2790 this what happens when they focus to much on that diversity agenda
@@kevinbabu8919 they did have a select fire variant but the war was basically over before major production started
“Can somebody please bugger that RPG!?” My god… this game is pathetic.
RPG in WW2? doesn't really make sense. They would've said Panzerfaust or something considering the first time they used RPG was in the Vietnam War in the 1960s. Also these Crusader 2 pdr tanks could go at a nice speed of 60 kp/h, don't see why they're being used as infantry support. They were mostly used for scouting, the churchills were used for infantry support at that time.
wouldnt even say that as the germans had no rocket propelled AT until 1943 with the Püpchen 8.8cm gun carriage
@@tramlink8544 Wait what was the Panzerfaust then, a non rocket at thing?

The feeling of the kar and enfield is fantastic and the dust effects are great. Everything else craaap also 5 rounds lee....
This campaign mission at least taught me about the Rats of Tobruk and a little about the ANZAC and the UK campaign in El Alamein.
1:37 "could someone please bugger that RPG?"
seriously? I don't think the term RPG exists in WWII...
4:06 oh and StG 44 in 1942... very well.
its gets worse
I don't get why they can't even get the models of the guns right. The No.4 Mk1 he is using has the sight modelled wrong. The rear sight should be an aperture with a flip up ladder sight. Also, the Lee's had 10 round mags, but your guy never loads it beyond five. Plus, the metal on the gun is way too shiny. The rifles had a blackened finish that didn't reflect light. I own a 1942 Long Branch No.4 Mk I*, and it does not shine like this one does. Further, it would be more likely for the British to have No. 1 rifles in North Africa. It is not impossible for the No 4 to be available in 1942, but it didn't start appearing in significant numbers until 1943.
Remember, it's an arcade shooter, not a WW2 simulator
@@VitorLuquini Remember its based on facts not just poor attention to detail.
I guess you like women with prosthetic legs screaming in there as well?
Try reading a book, a proper education etc.
as its an Aussie squad it should be a No.lll*
@@tramlink8544 I didn't know he was Australian. If that's the case, he should should have a No.1. Australia never adopted the No.4.
@@VitorLuquini I understand that; however, they should still put in the effort to model the weapons correctly. When it comes to damage and other stats, I'm okay with them tweaking those for gameplay purpose. Messing up models in a AAA title that cost millions of dollars in inexcusable.
Honestly considering everything i saw i wouldnt be suprised if an a10 warthog did a bombing run on the germans
I’m sure this game is suppose to be an alternate reality and not suppose to be historically correct
Damn bruh coming clutch with the goods
Graphics of video games nowadays had come so far that it already looked like a movie
Edit: I hope the devs don't forget about the physics and details
Graphics improved but the game itself doesn't
i have ever played this chapter in CoD 2
how time flies & still cool 🔥
Thanks for showing the battle of El Alamein so I can get material for diorama (1/35)
Why does the Lee Enfield only carry 5 rounds instead of 10?
Yea without extended mag
@@fathblin shouldn't need extended mag, the actual Enfield rifles are 10 round capacity
@@jackttroyer2976 oooo thanks for thr correction, i think the mag under the rifle is kind of extended mag or somethin
Yeah but atleast it didn't said 10 rounds unlike WW2
I remember reading somewhere that the British use to arm the Australian's with all the redundant WW1 weapons, which forced the Australian's to innovate their own weapons, like the owen sub machine gun. Mind you I remember this being on show hosted by the Gunnery sgt from full metal jacket.
Basically vanguard is Call of Duty 2 campaign that is remastered and remaked

The Box mag for the mg3 was made around 1960ish. MG 42s used belts ore a drum.
They bring the Battle of Alamein which also coming for 2042 multiplayer, can't wait to see the comparisions tho
1:31 That Rifle can hold up 10 round. 11 in the OG SMLE No.1 Mk3, before the 1915 variant.
MW feature: cool, immersive spec ops-style missions
BOCW feature: a dynamic campaign
Vanguard feature: wrong weapons and terminology and a general disregard for history
The weapon animation and sound is pretty slick...
