UA-cam has been great for me and every day I learn something new. Keep going at your channel, your doing great, early 10k subscribers too If you want to grow your channel into something much bigger, my advice is always to focus on quality and not quantity and just like your business, invest in it.

I like to watch gardening videos where the job is free, say for a pensioner or someone else who is in need of the help. I notice those videos attract a lot of views.

I've had to try to find a personality from somewhere to scrape by 🤣🤣🤣 One thing, I've never done shorts. Are they worthwhile in terms of monetisation or general channel growth? I know they do this short bonus thing but I haven't looked too much into it.
@@TheGreyGardener1990 cheers mate, I just ramble on then edit it, hence I hate the editing. Shorts can generate good numbers if subs but not often engaging ones for long form and they often drop off later. Some channels do amazing on them tho so give them a go
I used to reply to most of them but I get a hell of a lot now every day as well as a lot of emails. Being on my phone that much also strains my eyes plus I don't like to be glued to my phone when I'm with my girlfriend and daughter so it was a conscious decision to ease off a bit if I'm being honest. It got a bit too much. Plus I obviously get people contacting me for gardening work etc too
Bit of a shame as I did enjoy replying to everyone but as I say it got to the point where my eyes were hurting a lot and i was having a lot of headaches. Still on my phone a lot more than what's probably healthy anyway 🤣
