The worst part about Horrortae is the fact that the whole situation was a MISTAKE. Because they ran out of normal monster food after the neutral route, they resorted to cannibalism.

I like how unlike other AUs, Sans here constantly you throws you into bad situations, only sometimes giving you hints. It really makes the vibe feel as if this world has really gone messed up.

The voice acting is pretty good, especially the voice for papyrus and Aliza, I'm not just on about the impressions but the way they put the emotions into them is incredibly good

In Normal Undertale, this character was all drunk in grillbys.
But in Horrortale, they are actually normal!

I slowly but surely am starting to realize that Sans seems to be very annoyed with papyrus in this AU. Just like he's been down there for so long of course over time his brother would get annoying when it just like he's been down there for so long of course over time his brother would get annoying when he needs some because Papyrus has changed a lot. But Sans probably still does love his brother. And always has but at the same time Papyrus seems to be a little bit more smarter as well the last time that's happened well when it came to the lamp Papyrus didn't want to bother with something like that but in this one he went straight for it also there's another small details Sans is no longer wearing slippers he's actually wearing boots or blue shoes but again Papyrus seems to have gotten a lot louder as well.

It’s odd that this is actually quite a tame au considering it’s a scary au. I mean, this is one of the few aus where sans and papyrus’s relationship is still in tact. Like there not mangled together or in an abusive relationship. This is a gory au for sure, but it still is quite malleable compared to its “counterparts”.

This actually made me tense up, especially at the part where she slowly peeled off the flesh of her finger. This is truly a work of art.
Funny story. I was eating icecream and i didnt have a fork (cup icecream) and i used my finger. It was so cold, i couldn’t feel it so i bit down extremely hard. Didnt feel anything. Then time passed and it hurt like hell, i ripped a large amount of skin lol

It's weird to admit, but even when he's deformed and completely unhinged, Papyrus can still make a pretty cute expression every now and then. ^u^ 💕
I guess but...that papyrus is the most horror of all of this, geez I can't figure out what's so creepy about it but it makes me feel sick. Which is probably the intent so good job there

Really enjoying this perspective of Horrortale. At this stage Aliza should probably just reset, i have no idea how she's going to recover.
For me personally, what i find missing in Horrortale would be instead of determination, it should probably be bravery, being able to show that you're not afraid yet still willing to help them is in my opinion. Horrortale's pacifist rout.
And for the Neutral rout; i can see that just being Aliza doing everything she can to survive disregarding others for her own needs.
Don't know how the genocide rout could be impactful considering we may not feel as bad for the characters as we do in the original. I've yet to see how that could work.
Love the artwork and voice acting for the characters, great job.
Her soul trait is fear so she doesn't have a reset but she can respawn tho.
She just casually goes back to the point before she died with some scar or something.

Fan Theory: (2 versions)
Before Aliza went to the underground she had a unhappy life and lived with abusive parents, similar to what sans said in the game, so she went to the mountain in attempt to off herself, but instead she arrived in a place 10x worse. (She may of have had siblings, but if she did they may of came so that’s a low chance)
Second Theory:
She was ethier poor or a orphan, her ragged clothes may be the cause, so similar to the first theory she snuck out to off herself.
At the ending of Chapter 5, she states that she doesn't have such of a homelife or friends so that might make sense

This is one of the AUs where a genocide route would be justified.
Aliza is too kind to be a genocider . In a pacifist run you will still have to go through pain and horrible deaths - it's horrortale ,a timeline where monsters are from desperate and feeling hopeless to being insane and psychopathic. It's where you are at the wrong place and the wrong time .
I don't want to imagine what a genocide run would be like . Maybe it will be even more terrifying than the Leaderless ending in the original Undertale. Also ,if you kill everyone you would wipe out an whole race and when you reach the end - you will be all alone and trapped if there are no monster souls or something else happens like Chara appearing in front of you there won't be much point .
Slaughtering every single person you encounter will take away the monsters' chance to be free . If you are trapped somewhere and someone comes and deprives you of ever seeing the sun wouldn't you go insane too like they did ?
Neutral run will only result in you escaping the underground and leaving the monsters to root
The monsters deserve someone who will have the bravery to do the right thing and the kindness they show maybe even will have them change at heart
and killing sans would be fun. man all of the characters are just ass holes

I hate that fanon Horror!Sans is literally just a mix of canon horror with fanon Classic!Sans.

Well technically Chapter 3 is done, it's very short. Chapter 4 is the one still in progress. But yes, we are going to be dubbing Chapter 3, and what is currently out of Chapter 4!
