Fun fact, he said don’t wash for the first 1-2 months. That’s dead. I’m on week three of starter locs. I spray my hair 1-2 times a day with water and my locks have been budding since week 1. I’ve also washed my locs twice. Yes the parts are puffing up but that’s to be expected. I have 4C hair and my locs are budding up every time water touches them.

i started mine with comb coils that were two stranded i took them out of the two stranded coils after 2 weeks and they didn’t unravel after washing
