I think his voice is perfectly fine. We're so used to perfectly tuned pop artists, that most people probably don't know what a real singer sounds like. The rawness in it is great.
It’s a similar charm as the twang of an acoustic guitar. Mastering a specific tone is an art in it’s own right but it takes passion and skill to make the unadulterated sound as or more engaging

I was finally lucky enough to see this band live in buckhead near Atlanta last year. My fiancé bought me tickets for my birthday knowing it was my favorite band and I’ve never seen them, because we live in an area nobody really performs at. It was the best show I’ve ever been to. Seeing them perform live is on another level from listening to studio. Of course they played this song as the last of the encore and it was amazing. If you like this band, even if you have to make a drive, please go see them live.

Best bands never have 'great' voices. For me great is unique, it fits perfect with the music. Not those people on those contests singing COVERS. It takes much more to be a professional. For example, Lemmy is one of the best voices I ever heard. But he wouldnt pass first round in Idol.
They were here in Nevada in Oct. and i was doing security for these guys...never herd of them but they Packed the house and the have such energy live. I became a fan.

I think that most people here just don't understand melodoxian percussion, the tempo has to be around 120BPM. Keeping pace with an instrument is hard enough, but to write lyrics and sing them like this is damn near impossible you have to stretch certain syllables to fit the rapid breaks. The harmony for the chorus is pretty boss too.
I actually.. totally disliked this first few times. But- I don't know blue grass at ALL. Taking into consideration the 2 comments here.. I appreciate it more. And.. it's actually slowly growing on me.. 😊

I'm originally from N.C., from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and I always love to hear good bluegrass like this- It reminds me of the old Appalachian musicians, pickin away in the humid Carolina air.
Pretty cool to see just how worn all of those instruments are. Those guys really practice their craft often with dedication and love, the product of which is absolutely pleasant to the ears!

Del McCoury is one of my favourite artists and I recommend you give him a listen, as well as the Seldom Scene, the Gibson Brothers, and I'm sure you'll find others through them. Recently getting into Split Lip Raymond John Hartford and some other stuff. Glad Trampled showed me new stuff bc you hit it on the head. I wouldn't have gotten into it without first getting into TBT.

I was so lucky to, outdoor area(former ranch actually, WEfest is there will probably never go to that though lol) with just a few hundred or so in the audience. First Summit(the brewery) Plains Festival, IDK if they're doing another, or what it was called exactly. I was standing front row, most fun show I've been to, I don't normally dance but I danced almost non-stop to them lol. Really miss the 10,000 Lakes Festival, smaller than WEfest in a good way, jam bands and whatnot. I wished I could have watched Buckethead more there when I had the chance, but it was late and the people I was with at the time wanted to go. Too much drugs going on though so they shut it down mainly for that reason. First year I was offered mushrooms before even getting into the actual festival campground, took 10 mins to drive about 100 feet to a camp site, was offered drugs 10 more times along the way lol. The police dogs couldn't pinpoint where any drugs were because there was scent coming from all directions.
I saw them last month in Chattanooga during a yearly festival we have here called Riverbend. Music was amazing, but they seemed so not into it. Never even really spoke to the audience. Very good music though, they didn't even try to butcher the songs like some artists do in concert.
Just saw Trampled in concert at a festival, one of the most fun bands there, I enjoyed the entire set, especially this song, which they closed with. I was front row and the crowd was going nuts.

I saw them last month in Chattanooga during a yearly festival we have here called Riverbend. Music was amazing, but they seemed so not into it. Never even really spoke to the audience. Very good music though, they didn't even try to butcher the songs like some artists do in concert.

Just saw Trampled in concert at a festival, one of the most fun bands there, I enjoyed the entire set, especially this song, which they closed with. I was front row and the crowd was going nuts.
