Man that sticker "lolevo" made my laugh so damn hard at the end!! That evo is going to get "chopped!" as you guys say for sure!!!
Nice story..

Moog would still hate my R53 BMW MINI haha, i love it as my weekend tire slayer tho lol. Pretty fun after adding 100whp and 140 torque!
My 1st car will always be the best it wasn't fast and it was horrible on fuel but it was the sense of freedom I got from it that I won't get from any other car.
One of my favorite comments just cause my car is so slow and it's the only come back I have
"Ultimately i hope for most people that cars are about how they make you feel when you drive them."- Moog, Mighty Car Mods.

He's politely saying he hates the Golf because it takes all the fun out of driving 😂😂
That is why I drive the love of my life: a 2010 Polo!!! It is a diesel, but I can race even a new car. And mostly when the lighr turns green of I go leaving the others in the distance. I do ENJOY that.
😏
But Sadly we do not have an autobahn here. Just a small Island. 😢
same man. I wish more cars made these days were only about how awesome they made their drivers feel.
yessir!
A tear dropped out of my eye :’)
So professionally presented. You guys deserve a main stream TV show. Jason
Rusty Recovery definitely deserve it but tbh now a days tv shows are wayyy to controlling and It could go either way with mcm either they crash and burn or it’s a whole new era and take off

@@bnjmnwst The future is literally not now tho..
They are far better than commercial Television :-) But i get your idea!
WIth the Grand Tour taking somewhat of a bow - there's a need... and I would watch Moog and Marty weekly.

@Walter Sobchak I didn't say it was challenging, I just inferred that it was more of a test than a drag strip...

Repeatedly replayed that exact part a few times over!
that fact you been going so long and still produce such quality is amazing. your both talented, creative and very passionate. and man oh man have I got the bug for the R.
Nah you’re wrong about the quality. You mean to say that it just keeps getting better. For them, perfect is like tying a treat to the end of a stick and put it on a dog. It will just keep on going

this like some emotional speech shit
I couldn't get the happy feeling while driving my Subaru legacy i felt disconnected between me and the car. I still wonder why I never felt... how you put...um "satisfied" I guess when I drove the car it felt like I was driving someone's else's car . I felt confused and frustrated.

And used Golfs just went up in value I bet.
Used golf’s hold their value surprisingly good in Australia. I sold all of my VWs for more than I bought them!
sheshd some do, I was just commenting on another video that I was lucky to have owned my MKIV R32 for seven years and sold it for $2,000 more than I bought it.
VW's are great bang for buck here in OZ, usually sell cheaper than rivals as people still have this concept if it's "European" its expensive to maintain and own. Can pick up MK5' Gti's cheaper that mid range model Focus, Mazda 3 or Hyundai, let alone Passats like the R36/CC's VR6's which are cheaper than a ford or commodore yet a hell of a lot faster and luxurious for under 15k. Plus diesels with DSG and a lil sneaky tune is the best money you can, MK5 jetta cost ya 4k in great nick, some cheaps JOL coilovers and a Celtic 500 buck tune and your moving, quick!

moog let me tell you something. the cinematography the audio and the visuals are insane, ur perfect transitions and fading of the music is so theatrical seriously unbeliveable content. like venturing into a story. and the flow of the music just goes so well, as you said about the cars, what are we going to be going in 10 20 years, imagine your content and character in 5 years from now. think of the personal development as well. with a little more thought and real emotion in the script this will be magic.

Lol love the plates!!
One thing I don't like about the golf GTi/R, it almost makes things too easy. No trial and error, no experimenting, just bolt on and there you go. Kinda takes the fun out of the whole experience of building something.
where is the E85 and 500hp you guys teased on the first episode?
Gabriel Amorim it’s definitely possible with the right tune. On my GTI with an is38 turbo and full E85 we made 400whp. They have a bigger turbo but a less aggressive tuner but the platform would be good for that 500hp with the proper tune and e85.
Based on their baseline of around 240hp and assuming the same parasitic loses (engine rated at 288 at the crank), they're making roughly 450hp at the crank with pump gas. Could easily get 500 on E85.
500 at the crank is not 500 at the wheels.. When anyone talks about power figures that arent OEM stock cars, we are talking about at the wheels chap
@@AutoMotionDigital did Moog say they were shooting for 500hp at the wheels? Did Revo advertise the kit as power at the wheels?
@@nmh5001Jesus christ.. ok let me try to explain this...
Measuring hp at the crank is "impossible" without literally putting the ENGINE on a dyno. I think it is safe to assume they did not have the facilities or capabilities for this and seeing as though a mishmash of parts cannot accurately predict crank horsepower, No... I do not think they were talking about crank horsepower
Production quality on your guys vids these days Is top notch! Love the show, been watching for years!
Love the end of the video! Great sweeping rools of the car driving at night..reminds me of the old nfs u2..
I‘m wondering what the TÜV would say about it 😄 but great series you did there.
If the modded parts have a License, it will cost around 1500-2000 Euros to have " TÜV ".
I'd let to see it drag race a stock Golf 7 R, just to see that extra power in effect
The car would be even faster if it had the the new 7 speed DSG that is in the MK7.5 Golf R. It would be about .2 seconds faster from 0 to 60 MPH.
@@TheSinMOG True, but would also be $12,000 more. Could be better ways to spend it.

Run 11’s then run errands! Total Sleeper status! Favorite MCM build yet! Buy a used car, spend 24hrs bolting on parts, tune and race! I’m sure those Revo parts are expensive but for the ease of installation, the time saved installing/no down time on car and how major the impact; totally worth it!
Favorite mcm build? guess you dont know the SUPERGRAMPS saga
And not having to pay a single cent for the parts, if I recall, all the goodies was donated for this build.
Fave build in the respect that it seems realistic or possible to do. Super Gramps is bad ass but took Als and a lot of others fabrication skill and a year or more. I could buy a used Gulf R and install a Revo kit in a weekend and run 11s next week! I get that some of the fun is in the journey but I’d never follow through with a year long build. I would follow thru with a VW and drive the hell out it.

That ending had me nostalgic. I've owned two GTIs over the years. My first GTI was the car I gifted to myself after landing a 'good enough' paying job. That car made me feel proud. I admired and took care of every inch of it. While the numbers were much better than any other car I had before, it was never really about them. @@yamahamer89 i absolutely agree👍🏼 his car is also not drag oriented but street/daily, sooooo....
This was on a Mainline load-bearing dyno, which reads lower than the Dynojet inertial dyno. 372whp on this Mainline dyno means it's making a healthy 470-490hp at the crank. With a full e85 tune, it'd be making the 500hp REVO claims for this kit.
@@End3r_Wiggin oh thanks for the info tho, I didn't know that. Then it really is a pretty good tune.
@@Unchartedplayer15 Using a racing calculator backs that figure up. With a curb weight of about 3350lbs, plus Moog, figuring 3500lbs all in, running 121mph in the 1/4 mile means the car is making about 480hp at the crank. Get this tuned for e85 and you're easily over 500hp.

Thought the same thing. They need better tune and better gas. Not sure what is available in AU for gas, but an APR tune would be way better than what they have.
Factory in Europe the Mk7 R makes 306bhp and 295Ib torque. Why so low in Australia?
Stunning edit as always.
The European cars don't make 306 at the wheels. The figures companies release are from the flywheel to sound more impressive to help with sales but they don't include power loss through the drivetrain.
You can easily expect 20% power loss with AWD
Detuned for reliability
@@Mike-bt3ki If you watch the video it wasn't detuned. The guys putting the kit on gave it a tune then they took it to tuning fork at haltech where he made even more power
LOLEVO 🤣. Marty's gettin' chopped! ✌️✌️
Somebody here in Ohio actually has (or at least had) that number plate on their STi.
The tears and smile from me at that last part. is the best prove that MMC is the best car channel on youtube for me
