Hi Andy it is great to see you. So happy to be able to watch your ads on this video. I will watch the video too in full. Nice views on your videos. I will have to show this one to Michael when he gets home.
The 1947 gmc bubble nose in there our towing company owns that truck our company's name is Lanser Garage & Towing out of Wisconsin That is my great grandpa's truck (who is also a hall of fame member) my dad and grandpa also drove that truck
This is the museum in Chattanooga??? It seems different if it is. I haven’t been there for quite some time. I love wreckers..even own a 51 REO wrecker that my dad bought new. Love the benches outside!
Andy's Journeys I operated a Foden 6 x 6 Wrecker 27 tonnes in weight. 12.5 ton crane and 25 ton rear winch. 10.5 ton front winch. Off road tyres. Was a beast.
I didn't record one but I love that they have a ceremony every year for the inductees. It really is a great way to honor people in a job that's not very appreciated. Thank you for watching
@@AndysJourneys me and my wife came to Chattanooga for our 1 year anniversary last spring and we took the hop on hop off trolley tour. Its an awesome tour and we love Chattanooga we want to come back very soon.

That's awesome. It's great that it made it down here so that people can see it. Tow truck drivers are some amazing people
I like the look of the 79 bubble snot
They have an amazing collection for sure
Good tour! 🤩 Seems that some of their inventory has changed since I was there before...many years ago. Gonna go back in 2020. 😳
Yeah the collection is bigger than the museum. Its neat to see parts changing over time. :)
The first shop I owned was right across the street from here.
South Broad has really changed over the last 20 years or so.
Stumbled along this video and learned something new today thanks boss😅
Glad to help. The museum has expanded since I filmed this one. It's really cool.
Thanks for posting this. I was tempted to go here when i was in the area ane never got a chance
You are welcome. It's a pretty cool place. It's also fitting since the official tow truck was invented here in Chattanooga. Thanks for watching.

Love the Autocar!
I need to get back sometime. This is a fantastic museum.
49 cent gas was expensive. In the early 60's it was never over 25 cents and often in the high teens.
I've been here and did a video too. Nice job
Thank you. Its one of my early ones, but folks seem to like it. :)
i wonder if Bruce --Crazy Horse-- Hardy who worked for Jamie Davies Towing is remembered there as well
Its possible. There are a lot of names on the wall.
Interesting. I was a Recovery Mechanic in the British Army.
The interesting thing is that the tow truck was invented here in Chattanooga. Its amazing how far its come

Here’s what I operated ua-cam.com/video/JU2HvKBfyjg/v-deo.html now replaced by an even better machine.
Does Ron Pratt have his hand prints in the concrete outside the front doors.?
I am not sure I will go back and check some time. it's about time for a re visit anyway
My son in law Darrell Mansfield from the UK was inducted into the hall of fame a few years ago.
I didn't record one but I love that they have a ceremony every year for the inductees. It really is a great way to honor people in a job that's not very appreciated. Thank you for watching
@@AndysJourneys I think Jamie Davis is a member, and the owner of O Hare towing in Chicago also
I loved that place
It still is neat to know that Tow Trucks started in Chattanooga. We can add that to Moon Pies, and The first Bottling Plant for Coca Cola
