Towing and Recovery - Crane Falls on SUV I-69

- A crane company was working on a sign as the weight became too heavy and the crane toppled onto the road striking an SUV, The crane company called Paddacks Wrecker Service for two rotators to upright the crane and a flatbed for the SUV.
If you just want to see the Crane being lifted start at 3:30 and it finishes at about 9:00 minutes.
I’m just speechless !
Yeah looks like someone forgot they're outrigger
Why was the driver side outrigger not out when he swung over the side? And at 9 minutes it suddenly pops out
Hmmm... to me looked like the outrigger hadn't been deployed, so lacked the stability to that side, as I saw it in the retracted as they lifted it, then was deployed to rotate it back!

Wonder if anyone bothered to mention this incident to the crane rental company... Ha.
Man they used 2 rotators to upright that light ass truck. 1 rotator could've done it. The truck had the passenger side outrigger extended so it would've kept from going on over. Neither wrecker had to restrain it from going over. Gotta make the payments on the wreckers some way.
I'm guessing your a recovery expert? It's called if you have it, it's available and it will help then use it. Monday morning quarterbacking probably isn't the best comment one can leave. Maybe ask why they decided to utilize 2 Rotators instead of only one? Just saying.

Not a so good video, fist, any closer to the boom, makes the video look amateurish, then out of focus, Sad.
What a waste of manpower. So many people idling over 2 or 3 men job.
What kind of rat outfit is running this digger / picker on a highway job ????
