I have been there...loved all the trucks they had at that time...1993? 🤩Love wreckers...own a 51 REO wrecker🥰. Looking forward to going there again next year...2020.
@@johnstewart9667 Was it straight up 24 volts, lights and everything, or was it 12/24 with a series-parallel switch for starting? Does it have a PT pump on it?

Beautiful truck

Two Great Men and three excluding Ken
Very nice Job. The one thing that bothers me is the modern wheels. But still a great truck.
Cant wait to see it.......
That’s cool
Didnt know there was a museum of this
The museum is so cool you need the whole day and you still will have questions. So you better head to Choo Choo
#HIGHWAYTHROUGHHELL JAMIE DAVIS YOU NEED ONE OF THESE UP THERE IN HOPE
Jamie has his Holmes 850 on the road towing trucks and doing recoveries not sitting in a museum!
I'm kinda surprised that it wasn't built with 24 inch Dayton tube types when new. I wonder what it weighs.
I will bet it was. Daytons will really take the weight. Thank God they saved it head to Choo Choo and check it out. The place is awesome
It originally had Daytona on it, we ended put a newer front axle and rears underneath it, also converted it from a 24 volts system to a 12 volt system

That's the way it is. If your gonna spend the 100,000.00 you get to do what ever you want. We cant all be the same. Right?
