    Thanks, I have the same $20 box for my GPS. I was sweating the cutting and splicing on my Triumph Tiger. I just plugged it into the fuse box like you showed, and ta da it works.

    Nice to see you are back. I've used your videos quite a bit since i bought my 2014 to do my own maintenance. I'm not the most mechanical person around but your videos are very well laid out and understandable. And I've saved some money. Appreciate it. It's my 3rd FJR. I've had 2 different 05's and now my 2014. I love the bike.

    Hey man i just bought fjr 2017 about a week ago. In the first 2 days i have striped the whole motorcycle and changed the coolant and both oils, both tires. Im thinking of throttle bodies i dont notice anything but maybe is a good thing to do because the bike has 40k km and indont believe anyone ever done it.
    Also i have something like knocking from my front suspension or in my wheel ( im not sure)when i go through pote holes.
    AND ALL THAT WORK THANKS TO YOU.
    A BIG THANKS YOU :)

    Awesome, never used a fuse box before, will from now on as it's much neater. My 2017 'P' model has a 2nd battery where your suspension control is under the seat. The rectifier for that battery is for an LFP chemistry and I upgraded it from 7ah to a 12ah of the same brand and size (Fusion V-LFP-12-12). I'll be running my fuse block off that as I also have a 120w folding solar blanket that fits (only just) in my SHAD 59x top box to recharge that battery while I am off grid.

    The box under the seat is the Electronic Suspension Control.

    Wow that's great value. I've used PDM60's and ThunderBoxes in the past but they are a lot more expensive than this one.

    Great to see you back. Your channel has helped a lot to maintain my 2016. You’re back doing mods on your fjr. I remember you were thinking of changing to a Tiger. Do you ride the mt09?

      Thanks! I sold the fz09 a couple years ago. Coincidently, he just sold it to another guy here, and he recognized the bike! He just got in touch with me to tell me he has it now lol

    Good vid. Just wondering if it'll have to be disconnected when a valve service is done? Might be a good idea to have more spare wire?

      It's just cutting a couple zip ties and loosening the battery bolts. Not any big deal

    How many amp fuse is that tail light fuse you’re putting the wire in? TIA

    • @TwoWheelObsession
      @TwoWheelObsession  8 днів тому +1

      It doesn't matter, that's just acting as a relay, not carrying current.

      @ Ah okay. I wasn’t sure if it needed to be on something higher amp than what I wired mine to, which was a 10amp fuse. Thank you, very helpful!

    Hey mate, i have ordered the same box, do you think i can fit two different pairs of led lights and maybe a satnat like the ones you show. Is this going to be strong enough?
    Also one of the led lights is permanent light plus blinking yellow left and right while signals are on. I see you are connecting to the stop lights but do i have to used the same think?
    Tail lights are including the signals? Or just the stop light

      You just need to lookup all the power draws for what you are going to use as far as the lights. If they are within the rating, all good. There are multiple switched sources, I just went
      with what’s easiest.

      @@TwoWheelObsession if i want it to blink same time with the signal ligts i need to find where the signal light fure is and donthe same as you, right?

    • @TwoWheelObsession
      @TwoWheelObsession  18 днів тому

      I’m not sure what you are trying to do. The fuse box has nothing to do with light operation.

      @yaninacepqni2091 18 днів тому

      @TwoWheelObsession i mean the led lights i bought are said to blink while the signals are on. Thats why i wonder where to plug them.

      You need to follow what those instructions say. That has nothing to do with the fuse box install. The switched power tap is just to turn it on.
