  • In this video, Dr. Jim Brosnan and his research team at the University of Tennessee provide an overview of research exploring options for controlling Poa annua on ultradwarf bermudagrass putting greens. The Poa annua plants in this video are herbicide susceptible. In addition to options currently labeled for use on golf course putting greens, multiple experimental treatments are presented in this video. Use of these non-labeled options is not recommended by the University of Tennessee. Always be sure to carefully follow all label directions when making any herbicide application.

    Kerb at 28 oz rate in single application will cause serious turf injury/kill with overlap from pass to pass over green, so the katana mix rate would be a concern. Stick to split apps with kerb for safety. Should have shown a split rate app of kerb and katana mix.
