Awesome bracelet!! I feel a few gifts in my future Mala inspired bracelet making. Thanks Kellie for sharing with us. You make the process very easy to follow.
I have been making malas but I have not seen you on u tube . It was refreshing, educational and enjoyable . Please make a mala tutorial . Thank .i have subscribed you and hope that I get all your tutorials . Thanks
@@KelliesBeadBoutique now why do you pre stretch won't that like wear out the elastic quicker I apologize if these questions seem dumb again I'm an amateur that's just starting out it's funny I started out making little bracelets for my kids for when they went back to school now it's turned into like a hobby of sorts if I see a bracelet I like online I simply go I can make that
Not dumb at all! By prestretching the elastic it helps to make it easier to tie the knots and it will also help your bracelet not stretch out of shape. Watch this one. ua-cam.com/video/IrKWGwILHoc/v-deo.html
I have never used a guru bead and was looking for a mala type bracelet with a guru bead closure but all that knotting hurts my hands. I love the idea of seed beads. Especially when they have a little sparkle. And I love the 3 layer look! Thanks Kelly!
I use the same technique and cement to make stretch bracelets except I don't allow the cement to dry before pulling the bead over the knot. I use the cement to glue the knot into a bead. I find it makes for a stronger knot.
This is another amazing bracelet....have a few things to had to my cart for my next order :-) I appreciate your explanation of not just how to do these techniques, you add the "why" you do something and this is so important. Thank you for sharing 😍
Ah. Well if you are in to a long drive my friend has a great store there. We do ship all over though so if there is anything you ever need we are here for you! ❤️
I LOVE this bracelet, have my beads all picked out and am making it as I write this. LOL GREAT Summer fun idea to do with some young visitors while on a bead making picnic. Thank you Kellie Sutton 😍💗💗💗😎
Love it love it love it beautiful beautiful beautiful. You will be so happy and I am so happy for you congratulations cheers with happy rum and Coke. That was my husband and I favorite.
Question?? When making a stretch bracelet and let's say the person's wrist is 7 and 1/2 inches should I add a extra bead to the bracelet so it's not too tight or tie it loosely so the bracelet kind of droopes off the wrist my dilemma seems to be when the bracelet is on it looks as if I could put extra beads in spaces and it doesn't come out looking good
Bracelets can be tough to get right. I say add an extra bead. Nothing more uncomfortable than a tight bracelet. I don’t think leaving it loose will look too good either as the elastic would start to show if it stretched out a bit.
Love this! I have beads and tassels in my stash somewhere that I purchased years ago to make these. Time for a trip to the basement! Thanks Kellie! Are you anywhere near Stoney Creek, Ontario? Contemplating going to a wedding there in December. If you’re close, that may help me make my decision! Lol
Hi Kellie, great video as usual.. how did you measure your wrist size with elastic cord? Do you stretch it and measure or do you measure it same way you measure with leather cord for example. I never have luck with stretch bracelets because of sizing, it ends up being loose or too tight on my wrist. Thank you so much for taking time to answer me:)
Hi Nabila. I went 3 times around my wrist and added about 6 inches to make it easier to tie. I then stretched it out. For the actual bracelet sizing I just use enough beads to go around my wrist one complete time and then add one additional bead. I do the same for each time around. You can tie a loose knot to check for size before you actual tighten it up. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!!

Thank you! The key to elastic bracelets are make sure to pre-stretch the elastic and tie a good tight knot.

Can I use .7 stretch magic for a wrap? I use it for all my single bracelets and I love working with it. Please give me your opinion.
I’ve never used it so I can’t speak to it. I think it would work well though.
Hi. This is such a beautiful bracelet. Thank you for sharing. What did you mean by the glue "eating the elastic"/ Thank you.
Thank you! Some glues have a chemical in them that can eat at the elastic. We try to stay away from those.
very nice
Thank you!
