Thanks for the great tutorial. Could this technique be used with beading thread? I make malas and like to knot between each bead so if the Malay breaks one doesn’t lose your beads at least not more than one. How would I add a guru bead and tassel? That’s the termination of the mala. Thank you, Satyakaam.

Did you ever do this in a necklace form? I was trying to guess how many inches of leather it would take?
I haven’t done it in necklace form. That size gives you about 7.5 inches or so. I guess it would depend on the length you need but for sure 2.5 times what I used.

All the shows were cancelled last week. Too much uncertainty with COVID. It’s for the best. Too much money is spent by vendors and buyers to waste it if not enough people to. Let’s hope it all gets back to normal soon!

This is an old Video so this probably doesn't matter but Kristin drove down to Tucson not up. Lol I am from Phoenix! Also out of all tutorials I have watched or read you are the Only one to show knot tying with a tube! What a great idea! I have always had a problem with the slide knots and which direction to go, problem solved!!!

new subscriber today! loved this video … I’ve been looking for one similar 😊 I am wondering if there is a way to combine leather & leather end loop with beading wire or thread bracelets. Adjustable is definitely the best way to go IMO but not everyone can tolerate or like metal clasps.
There’s always a way! Sometimes you just have to grab some materials and give it a try.

I was tempted to fast forward to see how you finished it, but if I'd done that I would have missed a tip I really needed---to position the piece just before tying a knot so that the previous knots are facing the way you want the one you're tying to face!

What is that tube tool called? Sorta looks like a leather needle. I've never seen that. Itz always been a puzzle to what kind of closure or how to make some kind of knot on jewelry. I need that tool.
