I wanted to say how much I appreciate and enjoy your tutorials. I've loved beading work but hadn't had time to try while working and raising our family. I no longer work, being disabled by early aged strokes and aneurysm, and have struggled to find thing I can do that won't drain all my energy and concentration. I particularly love your tutorials because you explain them simply with easy to follow instructions and I can just follow along. I can now enjoy something I've always wanted to so and swamp my 9 grandchildren and kids with hand made gifts which truly is no easy feat for me nowdays. So Kellie Thank you x
Thanks so much Kath! I’m glad you could find something to do with all the challenges you have. Your grandchildren will be covered in jewelry in no time!
I think this has got to be one of the best demos on how to tie a Josephine knot I've ever seen. In my mind, it's a very nautical appearing bracelet. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Thank you for this extremely uncomplicated explanation... i actually understood it straight away, thats why i love watching ( and listening..lol keep talking) your tutorials.. super teacher 😊 😊😊😊
You’ve made a knot that looks intimidating to make so easy to understand with your instruction. I’m definitely going to try this. Thank you Ms. Kellie!! 💕💕💕
I love how you go step by step with the directions. Thank you for being patient and not rushing through it. I feel as though I could do your bracelets. 😊
I really enjoyed watching this video. I love it when you create using leather wire and knots. That drew me to your channel. This bracelet is definitely unisex. I love it.
I used to make that knot but I never knew that was what it was called. I haven't used it in years. I love the refresher course and the lesson learned. Now I know it's Josephine knot!
So I bought this kit and I have to say the materials are above average grade for sure. I just finished making this bracelet and I love it. I do have experience at jewelry making but your tutorial is really, really good. I highly recommend even for absolute beginners. This bracelet would make a wonderful gift! Thank you for sharing!!!
Awesome Awesome Work . You are very Talented. Love all your work. I did make some of your bracelets you make and was able make your beautiful ideas. I finally think I’m able to make your jewelry. You are so easy to follow instructions. You are beautiful inside out and love your personality & your funny with your rum & coke that was my husband & I drink in our younger years. This photo is from 5 years ago. Going to miss 50’s I will be 60 in September I want to cry. I started making jewelry during COVID & much better making jewelry cause you are a great teacher. I don’t sell my jewelry I give to family & friends. We are retired to much to sell. I enjoy it keeps my mind busy. Your the best .Your my kind of person. Love Jeannie

love it! thank you! I've been searching all kinds of clips on jewelry making and they go too fast or don't speak and explain, etc., so I'm really glad I found you!
Very nice… I work with Paracord… this made a very nice simple bracelet with my Paracord… I have a lot of the jewelry findings as well and was able to make this with what I had on hand. Again, a very nice tutorial!
Hi, you explain how to make the bracelets so well, I am in Australia and cannot find anyone who has the findings you are using. Can you advise on where to get them please.
I finally made one of these with some leather… I didn’t have any of the round cord but I had some strips off of some other projects I had made and thought, hmmm I bet I have enough here to make one of those Josephine knot bracelets I saw Kelly make a while back." Sure enough, I had just enough to make it with only two strand folded over but it came out really nice.. added some silver beads for accents and a silver magnetic clasp… too bad you can’t post images in comments … oh well… have a great evening!!!
I placed and order this morning as instructed. Please send the replacement kit for the bracelet that was missing a bead. Thanks. I really appreciate it. As stated before I am making it as a gift to someone special. I appreciated your quick response and positive resolution.
LOL, I was looking for a different knot and I didn't know what it was called. I found what I was looking for but everyone was making look soooo hard. I thought WHERE IS KELLIE? I had to find you! You are the best at teaching us! Thank you!
You are so exceptional person & explain everything simple to understand. Are you doing beautiful beautiful work exceptional I can’t even say the right words inside and out beautiful heart personality beautiful work. I don’t know you but I know that you are a nice person just by hearing you talk and explaining things to people. You’re my favorite I haven’t had a chance to order from you yet but I will get all this tracking on a freeze I have not been ordering anything because it’s been taking so long for things to come. But I do respect what they do and understand.
Kellie this is a great tutorial! However, the Tierra cast barrel beads are a bit beyond me at this time and they probably will be sold out soon! Do you have any ideas on how to replace them? Would handmade wire beads work? Or wire braiding around the leather cords?
You can get creative with wire or wrap leather around to bind it. You can also leave them without the barrel beads. We are going to have to come up with new ideas with TC leaving the market.
Thanks for your video's, I'm halfway through making mine but I realised I don't have any of those little barrels to crimp haha......off to Amazon it is......very easy to follow instructions ☺️ looking forward to trying more designs
Kellie, I am new to making this kind of jewelry. In the past I made indian seed jewelry and loomed work, but since I've discovered this medium, I am hooked. The problem is I am not familiar with many of the parts and spend hours trying to purchase them. You do a great job in identifying your components but some times the most obvious to you are not to a new person. Many of the older kits don't seem to be available any longer so I have a question on two of your bracelets. On this bracelet you call for large hole beads that look like big crimps. I've searched for these on the several bead companies I know of, and can only find actual beads that have decorations on them. They also seem to be thicker. It is also difficult to determine sizes of these components if they aren't specifically listed. I usually try to make the bracelet as close to the original until I understand how it comes out, and before substituting the components. The other question I have is on your beautiful four strand beaded wrap bracelet, and involves beads that I haven't used the "o beads". I inherited some from a friend ( at least I think that's what they are) but again there are so many sizes I would not know the correct one to purchase or use. I have to say that when I purchase your kits it is much easier, but I had so much given to me, I want to try to use what I do have and purchase what I don't. I continue to sort through 40+ years of supplies and am learning a lot just by doing that, but I have components I have yet to identify. If you could advise on just these two questions, I'd be very grateful. I have made many of your beautiful bracelets and am getting hooked on knots, even teaching my daughter-in- law. Again, thank you so much for your videos. You're an excellent teacher and a kind heart. Grace, Moodus, CT USA.
Thanks Grace. Here is a link to the crimp beads. www.kelliesbeadboutique.com/TierraCast-Barrel-Bead-4X2MM-p/94-5791.htm As for the O beads they only come in one size so I’m not sure how to help you any further. It’s good to try to use up your stash but as I can’t see what you have I can’t advise on how to use them in my designs.
@@KelliesBeadBoutique Thanks. I found the beads yesterday and ordered them. I also found some blue colored o beads. I can't wait to get my order. I have made so many of your different designs. People ask, are you selling them. No, still learning. However, I end up giving them to close friends, family for their birthdays if they admire a design. Again, thank you very much, Grace
I love this bracelet design, but it's too clunky for my small wrist. I want to make a smaller version in 1mm leather. However, the 4 x 2mm crimping barrel beads are too large. Are there any similar, but smaller crimping beads I could use? Also, since TierraCast has gone out of business, does any other company make beads similar to their barrel crimping beads?
Who is the company you buy the crimping sleeves from? I'm having a heck of a time finding a 4mm sleeve in antique brass, pewter. or silver crimping sleeves.
Oh I must make this, it's gorgeous and you have made it look really easy. I'm in hospital at the moment but I can see me making lots of jewellery when I get home 👍👏💕 xx
@@KelliesBeadBoutique Thanks for your response. I am attempting to create a semi-historical 1600s Highland arrow quiver; this would be a really great way to deal with the hanging strap and any loose chord ends.
