Those “failures” and “mistakes” that we so harshly criticized ourselves about actually became true gifts as soon as you start saying O.O.P.S. Try saying Oops in an angry tone. It makes it even more silly!
I just can’t take myself seriously when I say Oops which is just what I needed to play. I began to play, to have fun, and to embrace all of my “mistakes”.

I bought some pan pastels a while back. I bought a Gelli Plate a while, while back. Time to combine the two!

Hi Carolyn, I've been watching your videos for sometime now and have enjoyed all of them! I was so excited when I heard you say you now have a tutorial on pan pastels that I signed up for the classes right away! I love your art and (I know this is strange) I love your voice and how you explain things. I'm so excited to get started. I'm assuming you tell us what kind of pan pastels to purchase in the class. I really STAINED by gel plate with pan pastels...is this normal? In your video you said you were going to show us how to get it off of there... did I miss it? :)
Use baby oil or mineral oil and a paper towel to remove the pan pastel from the gel plate.
@@kyleoliver9538 I tried the baby oil and then dawn and it did not come off. Any other suggestions?
I spent lots of money on all the supplies to do this and I can't get it to work at all. I'm so disappointed.
