I’m so happy I came across your channel. Such wonderful and unique ways to play with Panpastel! I’m diving back into them and your videos are inspiring!
G'day Heather, so glad these videos are helpful. I use PanPastels very differently to most. You are always welcome to contact me if you have any questions.
I really enjoyed watching your tutorials you explain everything very clearly and demonstrate well. Please could I ask you to consider leaving out the music in future because it is you we want to listen to. Many thanks
Wow, do those look amazing; thanks for showing us. The colour gradients are beautiful and the different methods give me an idea of what to expect and what I should use.

I have heard of using pipe foam insulation to blend pastel sticks, but I haven't tried it yet with pan pastels. I really need to try the alcohol wash you showed! Thanks for the great video
G'Day Jill, thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Yes the pipe thing has been useful for some artist when blending with soft pastel. I haven't tried that either, maybe I'll give it a crack!! You can do so many things with these Pans, the list is endless!!
Hey there dear friend, thank you so much, I hope this helps artists finding pans for the first time see what can be done with them. Thank you for watching.
Thank you so much Heidi, I suppose this is the next stage of my art journey. We shall see happens next!! Always appreciate your support and consideration.
I have a question about blender. You don't show mixing two colours with it, just putting it under one colour. How does it work with 2 colours, does it help in mixing? Nobody wants to show it on YT
Hi Darieta, do you mean the colourless blender? If so, I don't see any issues. I might do another very short video mixing soon, showing your query. Again, thanks for watching 👀
G'day Ms Buttercup, thank you so much for watching and your question. I don't use any fixative. The surface I use is Pastelmat, which requires little to no fixative. I protect my work with Glassine paper. I have many videos here where you see me work with Glassine paper and my work doesn't smudge at all. Again thank you for watching.😍
So helpful, just getting into panpastels! Thank you!

How did you clean up the edges with alcohol technique?
G'Day Rabbit, thank you for watching and your question. I used masking film prior to the application of the pans and alcohol.
What brand of pastel are you using?
Hi Theresa, I'm using PanPastels. Thank you so much for watching.
couldn't you use distilled water instead alcohol
Good point Larry, didn't think about that option, perhaps you can give it a go and let me know your findings. Thank you for watching.
What do you use to seal your work so it doesn't smear?
