As the owner of one of these I can tell you they have nothing like the power of a similar petrol mower. They are fine when there is only light grass but throw in some heavy couch or buffalo grass and the blades just stall. My old 25hp Cub Cadet, whilst having to slow for the same grass, was still able to finish the run. Electric mowers need about 1kW for each 10 inches of cut width, about double what these have. 80V Ryobi is no better. I don't care if I can only mow for 30 mins, just give me some bigger motors please.
