    I'm a 71yearold novice, learning barebow. Watching all the UA-cam videos. I was a welder for 40 years, I know how to work hard focus on a spot and do repetitive work. Sounds like archery

    great in depth shot cycle explanation thanks Greg. I'm a self taught archer and I'm always looking for more information even if I already do the step it always helps to understand why.

    Greg - One of your best presentations to date. Well spoken, clear and great tempo! Well done. As far as me..... I do hold and release. I have been practicing a gentle hold at anchor point with a slight pull then static release. If a very very slight pull occurs all is well, if to much pull sometimes a pluck is generated almost like I am trying to physically help the string and bow do the work and being a righty the arrow will go left. Thanks for your help! P.S. my switch to three under has been marvelous, my two top 3D scores this season are 259 and 274, oh what a feeling. Take care.

    Great series Greg. I am always laughing at the guys shooting 3-under, with the arrow right up under their eye, who claim to be shooting purely instinctive.

    why no one uses aluminum risers in instinctive archery competitions if they are better than wooden ones is it prohibited or what?

    • @TradArchery101
      @TradArchery101  3 роки тому

      Instinctive is not a class, at least not here in the US. Most competitive archers here use aluminum or alloy risers

    Have you made a video on shooting a fixed crawl. What is your thoughts om a fixed crawl? For my hunting bow i have point on is 37 and fixed crawl point on is 25 but my gaps are 8 inches or less by doing so.

      Sorry for the delay. I do not have a video on it. I know of it, but have not practiced it. I only like to make a video on shooting styles if I actually do them for a long period of time.

    Aiming or instinctive aiming you need a steady bow holding hand or it's all a miss.
