First Shiny I found without even trying was a tiny female Litleo over near a downward slope towards a beachfront. Full Odds, too.
I glanced and did a double-take and went "Wait a second, something's not right" and saw it walking by itself in tall grass. Almost missed it! 😅

Congrats dude! Have you been in the same location while hunting or did you exit and re enter? I've been hunting in the desert for a while and I'm worried I have to "reset" the Pokemon here by going to a different area first :(
i tried some different spots but towards the end i was staying in the middle section driving back and fourth to make the despawn and respawn, good luck!

Nice job catching those shinies. I really want to be catching shiny Klawf and Orthworm since they look good in blue. I’m just not sure how to make the right sandwich. I’d prefer to breed for a shiny, but I haven’t found a nursery yet.
Just incase you haven’t found out yet, there is no nurseries. You breed through the picnic feature, there’s a basket on the ground that’ll have the eggs when they’ve been bred

Omg it’s difficult to recognize if there’s a shiny pokemon, and if you don’t familiar on their color it’s more difficult

How long did it take? Or how long do you farm for full-odds on average. I want to get into it but I feel slightly discomforted not knowing how many hours of my life it's gonna Take XD
This is a great game to start doing full odds compared to older games for sure, its hard to put a average on it, its different every time but i would say most people get a shiny in this game in 2-3 hours average Maybe
@@ShinyHaunterSJ I just got a shiny Kirlia after ~ 3.5h. But I feel like I was FAR off the 4096 encounters. More like 200-ish so I got really lucky.

the possibility that I’ve rode past a shiny Pokémon because it’s shiny is something barely noticeable really urkes me
we are just gonna have to accept that we are missing shinies here and there in this game, everyone will. Sucks when you think about it but thats why i choose not to think about it 😂

I’ve been using the outbreak method and now for over a day, nothing!!!!!! No shines, at all!!!!! 😖 Started with 4 shinies with this method but now haven’t had any luck at all!!!!!!

You say “4 phases.” What is a phase? How do you reset a phase?
Okay lets say you are hunting Klawf then you get a shiny Geodude then thats one phase for Klawf, so basically every shiny you get during a hunt is another phase, hopefully that makes sense hah
I got a shiny skiddo, dratini and toedscool without hunting. I failed the dratini because my joystick drifted and it ran away
good stuff! sorry to hear about the Dratini though :( make sure to save when you get a shiny if you dont already but hey im sure you can get the Dratini back if you try to

....not full odds if you're using the sandwich.
There are different sandwhiches that gives different effects, the one i was making makes it so that rock type pokemon spawn more often. The one that increases shiny odds is a different one ✌️
I’ve played for over 43 hours and still haven’t gotten one, only at the 3rd gym and most of my time has been exploring trying to get one but still to no avail😭🥲 rip
