I purchased a multipack of these on QVC a couple of years ago and I'm happy with them. My husband's closet does not have an overhead light fixture, so I have one of these hanging from a cup hook under a shelf in his closet. Lasts for at least a month. Also, we had a noreaster and lost power for a couple of days and these provided enough light to meet our needs as flashlights. We also hung them from S hooks around the house as needed (from the dining room chandelier and handle of the kitchen cabinet for example). I keep the on/off hangers for them hanging from the spider fitting of the lampshade, so I always have a base conveniently located near the bulb.

they are still winning in my book.....🧐🧐🧐in extream moments you run the back up bulb's till they go down then 🧐🧐🧐🧐 switch to your generator.... saves on gas ⛽ big time👍🏾

I have two of the originals. One near my generator in my barn, the other near my electrical panel. Very handy during a power failure

I bought them like 2 years ago for emergency only. I haven’t charged them in a while, I took them out today because I’m getting ready for the eclipse tomorrow 4/8/24. and they are still charged. But I’m not sure how much charge is left as you said in ur video.

Just look into a generator hookup install to plug your generator into your house power. Will need an electrician so you dont backfeed but it's definitely worth it to use your power like normal and not have to plug everything in with extension cords just use your normal wall switches and outlets and a generator big enough to handle your daily use. Generators can be costly but it's a buy once and forever live carefree from then on.

I rarely have a need to have a light on for 10 hrs, which is required time for recharging. Can you charge for a few hrs a day for days or does the light have to be on for a consecutive 10 hrs to get a recharge? Thx.

Hi Jeff. I just purchased the emergency bulbs for a pop up event I’m be participating in soon. My question is once I charge them can they sit until I need them or do they need to be used as soon as they’re fully charged? If that makes sense. In other words if I charge them on Monday will they still hold that charge to be used on Saturday?

Hey Jeff great video thanks for posting. I just today learned about these bulbs and I think its a great idea. One thing I was wondering is - do you know how much electricity the bulbs use when they are charging? I saw on an HSN video they recommend just leaving the bulb in your lamp all the time and you never have to worry about charging. But if it a lamp you use a lot it seems it would add to your electric bill. and do you know how many hours they last? Thank you!

I have them and they last longer. If I have one in the bathroom, I turn it on and when I leave the bathroom I turn it off. The same thing I do in the bedrooms, if I am not in the room while there is no light I turn it off and that makes them last longer...

I returned the led bulbs with 60 wattI returned the LED bulbs rated at 60 watts because they became dim after just one night. I received a refund, but it felt like a scam. because it only lasted one night before becoming dim and I received a refund. It felt like a scam.

I'll never pay $22 for a light bulb and also those are good but not good at the same time only for the simple fact that it cost too much and you noticed that anything that's good for the universe the world your health your body it always costs a lot and didn't they already invent electricity without electricity there's a different method you can use without electricity if you don't have any in your house or the power goes out?

@@Jeffreviews4u I wouldn't use those either we don't get that in New York our system is very developed and very well structured unlike those other small states that you have to go miles and miles for so just to get to a store , either way you got them free no one in their right mind is going to pay $22 for one light bulb.
