Wow bro your story sounds just like mine.! I got my A+ amnd network + in 2003 and 2004.. I was all set up to start my Cisco. My best mate was already a ccna and had a great gig and he had all the hardware to set up a lab at home like you I was focused . I didn't do anything but drink. Then one day I took a pain pill for a nhangover and in started a 10 year drug addiction that I am just now getting over suffice to say these past ten years I have wasted . ruined my resume by not working, I haven't studied I've forgotten so much . but your videos have really helped rekindle that fire inside of me . I'm going to get my ccna by August. The track you have laid out is great. Once I'm back on my feet expect a nice amazon gift card from me. As a show of gratitude for the hardwork you are putting in here . now its time to get back to focusing thanks mate

I failed the exam the first time because for some bizarre reason my college recommended the CCNA class for the first semester of the whole course. The first semester is when you're still getting used to college, when you haven't gotten a real "routine" yet, when your notetaking is experimental and unrefined, it's meant to ease you into the next couple years of your life. It also made me assume that the CCNA was easy and not worth paying too much attention to because it was in the first semester along with classes that were meant for people who barely knew what a computer was and how to use Microsoft Word.

My work put a bunch of us through a CCNA boot camp and in three days I take the combined exam or the voucher will expire. I wish I had spent more time studying in the past year and making more of those sacrifices because I know I'm going to fail it. But it will be valuable experience for when I take it again and do pass it. Loved your video, thank you for being honest and sharing your experiences. You have a new subscriber.

I tend to be negative since years not being able to study even after trying my best failed. Hope can pass it next time. I really enjoy the terms etc but like you said unable to find a job with Comptia A+. Any advice to stay positive and not feel worthless? For context I have been stuck in a security job for 6 years being unable to find another job had to help family etc. And the kicker mother died 2 years ago and after that lost 3 of my 4 cats and atleast got to keep 1. Staying at nice people currently my friends mother thats helping pay for me but I still feel worthless.

Jesus was born to a virgin, turned water to wine, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, casted out demons, walked on water, and calmed the storm, among many other things. He was killed, and three days later He rose from the dead. Forty days later He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He is returning very soon, but before He does, Satan, the devil, is coming to pretend to be Jesus. Satan is an angel, and he will have certain supernatural powers with which to try to fool everyone. He will, for example, be able to make fire come down from heaven in the sight of men. He will only be on earth a short time before the real King of Kings, Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, returns. When the real Jesus comes we will all be transformed into our spiritual bodies at the same moment. Jesus came to offer forgiveness of sins and eternal life to anyone who believes and calls on His precious name.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; - Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Romans 6:23
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. - John 3:16-18
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - Proverbs 9:10

Have CCNA and now trying to get CCNP in order to keep my cert active (will expire in MAY and haven't used it). Still working as a DC tech with no route/switch access..... Cause the NE field has went nowhere. I've had a cert now for 3 years that I haven't used. I've been working with the NEs onsite at my current DC for training and have still failed the CCNP route exam twice now. Most of the crap on the exam none of them use. The only part of the exam I do good at is the simulators cause we focused on Routing (it is the route exam) but all the multiple choice questions where for everything except that. So I've lost 550 dollars so far and still have 2 exam left to even finish CCNP to then not use it cause I'm not an NE....... so its come to the fact of whats the point. 2 NEs I've talked 2 have no current active certs (all expired) and they could care less about renewing cause they don't have to. I'm struggling to get my foot in the door and i've been on tons of interview with the same results (no work experience no go). With a bachelor and master in Computer Science, I have to then learn on my own and get certs (so I'm still spending money for certs and paying for the loans from what I already got) to prove something. I'm at a level now where entry level network admin is too low for me. So I'm stuck in a hard place of figuring out what to do......

You are a gifted teacher and these videos are great, but swearing is not professional - if you want to really take it to the next level then you must limit the language - you taught me loads so just trying to return the favour thanks for your help.
