You are the man. You give me a real motivation. So I did my interview yesterday with IT FIELD and I'm waiting their call. ALLAH KNOWS THE BEST WHAT IT WILL HAPPEN NEXT WEEK.
Hey dude your story motivated me to stop being a lazy, excuses, procrastinating , down on myself, cynical kind of person. your philosophy is all about being positive, hard work, dedication and focusing on light at the end of the tunnel and just because you are on the shit side of the fence you can always get to the other side where the grass is greener if you are willing to climb over it to get to it.
Damn this guy is awesome!!! u got my respect bro every IT job is difficult but after watching this i think I'm on the right track to continue study my ccna
Ok, I have this same issue ! butI have +10 years in IT, what happens is when I go to the test taking center I just failed, twice, and, as you said, we were broke, I need it to step up my career, I think this is about patience and tolerance with yourself, truly believe in yourself... Great Story men, keep moving forward !
Amazing story, it shows that no matter what you going through, you should never give up. This one of the reason why I am thinking of joining the IT field very soon
You sir are a true inspiration! Thanks for sharing your story and your technical knowledge. Your approach and presentation of technical content is really interesting. I sincerely hope Network Engineer Academy grows to something big that you can do full time! Best wishes from Australia!
Wow story of my life, its like watching you telling my life. GF left me 2months ago, saw no future with me. Just been doing some non IT jobs past 6years on and off. This is the 8th month now where i dont have a job. Mostly because i focus getting an IT job with my mcse certs. Started studying for ccna since february, hopefully it will give more opportunities if i pass the exam. Anyway glad i found this channel today, wish I found it earlier, you really have a talent for motivating people.
I'm just crying. I'm a fresher graduate don't have any professional course but for not getting any calls, I am feeling depressed! your story made me highly motivated and inspired.
Wow! What a happy ending. Just literally embarking on my IT career now. I know it gonna be tough along the way but am strongly trusting God for a happy ending such as Jorges'
Good testimony. I like your honesty. I myself have a 2 college degrees and no career to show for it. I just have a 40 hour a week job in the office of a roofing company that allows me to get by. Wish I would have just studied for my CCNA straight our of high school.
Hey Garret thank you for your comment, is not to late for you to get back and make your objectives if you put the time and dedication you should be able to get a good job in IT like some of my students had done it with no problem. Garrett stay tuned for the new Videos and content that is coming soon on my channel don't forget to like and share my video if you think that can help other individual to open their mind to new way of learning.
Great story, I've been studying for the ccna test for about 6 months now, starbucks every morning. The test is now 325$ and that's basically an entire paycheck. I'm trying to avoid multiple fails if possible so I'm hitting videos, books, forums, and whatever else I can digest. There is a lot more content now than in 2003, so I'm hoping that helps out. Good video, subscribed.
I really admire you sir with the way that you follow your goals . that is exactly what I am doing now , cause I have to support my family back home and I am totally new in IT but I had this dream since 5 years ago to work in IT field.i have no background on IT I have no knowledge but I just start my CCNA course and I am putting everything thing on the table to get my results, again thank you so much for your motivation your speech gives me a different power and showing me the day that I will even go further than my goals.
What a spirit! I just watched your videos today and susbcribed to know more about CCNA coz I really wanted to start my career in the IT field and a lot of negatives from people around keep me pushing to to go for it. Sometimes I'm still confused if it's all gonna be worth it but I guess I have find out.
Got my My My A+ Network+ and CCNA and Now you give me hope. I actually got a job that makes it hard to take entry-level jobs because my current job pays me more than an entry-level job. In the long run that is going to hurt me if I stay in my current job and I am looking really hard to get something that pays me the same or greater then what I make. I got some kind of promised from Government job if i get my Security+ and that job will pay more little a bit more then my current job but I will be in the IT field which is what I am more interested in Doing. I hope I passed my Security+. Again thanks for giving me hope. I almost give up. I am also studying how to code in Python and java
NEVER GIVE UP, I know it's easy to say, but i been there many times. I just know that there is no options to give up. Sometimes you need to go through hell in order to get to the light. Keep me posted.
hey thanks for sharing your struggle story .your success story help me to keep going forward and never give up on my goals .you suggest me lots of options to make career in networking sector. thanks a lot.
I'm a college student and I study Network Administration and Information Security. Going for a B.S. I'm afraid I'm going to fail out of college, afraid I'll never get a decent job, afraid I'll never get anywhere in life. I've had to take a few breaks because my mental health and anxiety were getting the best of me and overwhelming me so I should be graduating this year but instead I'm a junior and I mean just starting junior year with a few classes done. I've had one seasonal job for 4 months and it took me years to find it. I'm 22. I want to go back to it but I'm afraid I can't because of school right now. It looks bad if you aren't working. I considered trying to become an Network operations officer in the air force after I graduated to gain experience. I haven't spoken to a recruiter yet but I have friends who say that is an option.
Gracias carnal, I hope you realize how inspirational & encouraging your videos are to some people. Even if just 1 CCNA student was motivated, the world wins! el karma te esta pagando, gracias desde El Paso,TX, nex to Juares CHI. hogar de Juanga!!
Jorge Im ready to change my life it’s very inspirational that I came cross paths with you thanks to a friend from a co-worker. I want to go through this process for my future. I need guidance and what do I need to do Jorge I would appreciate your reply thank you.
Thanks for sharing your story. but for me.... Its been 1 and half years past by now, I still have no job in IT. I'd given interviews in about 40+ companies, but still there is something else I'm lagging than my technical skills. Still trying to get job in IT... Always have some hope. Always...
There is a lot of people with certs and no job. There is a specific way in how to get your first job guarantee, but there is a lot of work involved and research, I can't do it in one video.
YES. George is right. I have CCNA certification. and almost CCNP syllabus I have covered. In companies they won't ask more questions on CCNA or CCNP. btw I've attended more interviews on development, more coding stuffs. not much on networking. I'm totally out of development field
Hi Jorge, another great video! I have been offered two position and not sure which one to take. One of them is a 1st line NOC role working in shifts and the other one is also a 1st line position but at an ISP. My main factor to decide which role to take is simply based on how much networking I could do (I have 2yrs experience and CCNA). Because they are big companies they usually don't let 1st liners to have access to all the networking infrastructure so they both would involve about 30% of networking. However the ISP seems promising because they provide training and eager to develop the skills of the engineer. What do you or anyone else think?
What was your first job?. Almost 2 months since I passed the CCNA and still can't find a job, luckily I bump on your first video and this video motivates me. I'm slowly giving up.
This Guy tells the best stories, not much real advice a lot of fluff. What am I suppose to learn? I watched video one and Video 2 is basically the same thing as Video one. What is the point of your stories, to get people to sign up for your classes. 👍
Sir please help me i am not getting job in Networking as they want experience but i am new in Networking so i was thinking do desktop job so what would you suggest me should i join as desktop support or tech support job.
Yes that is the route to go and start getting involved in as much as networking tasks and projects as you can. Preferably in the private sector since they are more lenient on letting you cross function on different IT roles. And more preferably in a small private company that only has one or two desktop persons so that they can rely on you for network stuff. That was my process but it might be different for different people.
Respected Sir, My in india at chennai my age is 25 i have no experience in any field! i have some pending arresrs in BSC computer science now i need some expereicne in it field can i get job in it field it if finish ccna can i study ccna? age is problem for ccna if interveiw ask what you before 25 years of age how do i manage? age is a qualification for ccna? please tell !
No, there is no age limit for getting any kind of networking job, bro. I'm also an Indian. I also got my CCNA certification and attended a lot of interviews related to networking. I have enough knowledge on Networking but technical knowledge is not the point of not getting hired. There is something else what companies want in us. Right now I'm doing my CCNP certification. If you really want to go for networking, If you really love networking... Then go for it. Have some hope... and keep trying... don't give up.
Jorge, I am sorry to be the one to point this out to you, but the reason you had such a hard time getting a job isnt because of your lack of experience; it was your lack of a GED. No employer beyond minimum wage will hire without it.
LOL!!!!!! so funny. love this comments. My GED had nothing to do with it as no one knew if I had one or not. But thanks for taking the time and posting the comment.
Jorge, you would add more value to your videos if you cut to the chase... too much dancing around the point..... anyways, thank you for sharing your story...

Nick Royal might be your location. Where do you live?
Nick Royal do you have any certs? There is no way you don't get a job if you have advanced level certs. For networking CCNP certs.
There is a lot of people with certs and no job. There is a specific way in how to get your first job guarantee, but there is a lot of work involved and research, I can't do it in one video.

Pinche vato, great videos!
Jorge, Why you don't recommend the CCNA Routing and Switching Official Cert Guide book?
Diego González because that will get you no results. Sorry to be honest but people are afraid to say things how they really are.
No problem Jorge, Thanks for the answer, I will keep it in mind, I sent you a LinkedIn invitation, accept me when you can. Regards.
Don’t need guidebooks. All the resources you need to study are online.
