It's comforting to know my husband isn't the only man with double standards when it comes to "collecting"!!!! Lol
Love it!
😂😂😂 such double standards, right? 😂
You sure know how to start this girl’s day with all the beautiful things. I love every little (and big) thing on your “book” shelves Lynne. And the peek into JR’s workshop was no less titillating. I love all ALL of his stuff too. You two - despite your occasional difference-of-opinion discussions - are a match made in heaven. And your cottage is Heaven on Earth. 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Someone just recommended your channel to me and just your intro with your husband has me hooked! “Are we going to have another argument because you don’t like what I’m saying?!” LOL
😂😂 I’m so glad you found us and our little channel. And I hope you continue to be inspired ! We’ve got a few videos that may also give you a chuckle😂

The hollow core door is perfect for my craft room to hide the cacapoodie!
It turned out so gorgeous but especially with your Christmas tree and everything else!

Ellen I have been wondering about these and you did such a good tutorial! Iron stone 😆 🤣 you guys are too cute!
I'm so glad you liked it! Have a great Christmas!
Very nice! I think this would work well on the inside back wall of a bookcase before adding the shelves. Thanks for demonstrating the how-to for us!
I agree! That would look amazing! Thank you so much for watching!
This is beautiful and such a cute video!
Thank you for tuning in and so glad you enjoyed it!
I am familiar with those kind of arguments. I love your creative solution. 😍
I think many couples can relate! Merry Christmas!
The panels look very elegant. Good idea to hide the clutter. TFS
Yes! Always looking for elegant ways to hide clutter! Thanks for watching!
Beautiful! A win win 💙💗
Thank you, Guin!
Beautiful job! Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for watching!
@@ellenjgoods you’re welcome and of course.
The panels turned out beautifully 😍
Thanks Beverley!
Thank-you for saying the layout is backwards! For the life of me i could not figure out how to get them to line up!🤣
Oh my goodness! Ir was driving me crazy! 😂
So I should have watched this first. I started small with a old wood jewelry box. I painted it black and used rose chintz. I think using the brayer is a wonderful idea as there were so many wrinkles in the paint, I didn’t like it. Maybe the black shows it more??? Try again today, thanks for the inspiration Lynn♥️♥️
You can expect if you apply a thicker layer of chalk paint you can expect texture. I’m going to try it on Fusion again to see if I can get a smoother finish. Stay tuned! 💓 Happy New Year!
This is really cool looking.
Thanks! We are really loving it.
You are so talented.
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
I love this Ellen 😍
Thank you Tracy! Have you tried the paint inlays yet?

Beautiful idea,,,,sure solves the problem,,,,happy wife and hubby
Yes! We both love it! Thanks for watching!
The panels are beautiful 💗. Love how you gave RJ a new project for complaining about your ironstone 😂. You guys are too funny 🤣
Hahah creative problem solving! Thanks for watching!
Are these expensive ,because if they are I’ll just continue to admire!
Hi Faith. I’m not sure what “expensive” is for you so that’s tough to answer 💓
Gorgeous panels! I love this so much. What color of paint did you use to blend the inlays? Oh, and you never mentioned what you did with the ironstone you removed from the shelves. Are they hiding in your hubbies workshop? Lol.
I sold some of it! I think I mixed a bit of Fusion Pebble with white.
This looks really good but considering the cost and difficulty of applying it I'd go for a transfer or wall[paper or even spray adhesive and fabric. I love toile and the panels are very elegant.
I really wanted a more rustic ,organic treatment. Thank you. We are so happy with the outcome!!! 😊
Do you find the best base paint to use is a chalk paint when using paint inlays?
Yes. Absolutely 💓
Can these e used like wallpaper on a wall?
Sure. I think with appropriate planning you could do it.
❤
❤😘❤
do you have to use a chalk paint
No, you can use other mediums as well. I also did a video sharing techniques to use inlays in a clear medium. 💓
@@ellenjgoods thank you so much
