I turned a wooden tissue box into a real beauty with this inlay. It was drying waiting to be sealed. I opened the kitchen cabinet to get something and a small bottle of iodine fell out crashing onto the countertop and I had iodine all over my beautiful tissue box. I quick got a wet cloth to wipe and I totally ruined it 😂 note to self, keep projects off by themselves till they are sealed. I redid it and it’s just as beautiful. Next one will be the pink inlays to make another. Thanks ladies for all these great IOD products 💕💕💕
Oh no!!! I'm trying to imagine if there's a way to use iodine all over to make it look on purpose 😂. So frustrating. The list of our ruined and redone projects would be a mile long.

I love that blue floral inlay. I've been unable to decide which piece in my home to use it on. You helped me today, as I have a similarly-shaped dropleaf table that needs refurbishing. My dropleaf table just won the inlay lotto!

You are driving me totally crazy!!! I want all the inlays and I want to cover EVERYTHING I can think of.We need lots more patterns. If you could do one of your entomology desigs that would be capital! I could tear out just the bugs I want to add to a tableau. Voile" bugs among the beautiful flowers. I can not wait. Thank you soooo much for these brilliant ideas.

Can anyone explain the proportions of sealer and water that she sprayed on at the end? Was that on after it dried all the way? Can you do a thicker sealer after that dries?
Yes and yes!! Mix water and sealer 50/50 and then once that dries you can brush or roll your sealer on. We also have found since this video that rolling it on without spraying first does work well also, just be a little careful with it. Spraying will insure no smudging❤️
