READY TO LEARN CROW POSE AND CRANE POSE? LET'S DO THIS!! ✌️ Addition to the video: It is very common in the beginning that placing your knees on your arms is uncomfortable and can create bruises. Just like anything new, you'll get used to it the more you practice and won't have bruises anymore. Listen to the body and take breaks when you need them. Keep it playful and have fun.
Thank you for this! I have been confused about where to place my knees. The tip about bending the knees to create the flat spot is brilliant. And starting with the knees outside the elbows is such great advice. I appreciate this so much.
thank you so much your video was the best instruction one I found on UA-cam here you made it so much easier to understand how to do it I did it and held it for a few seconds today I have watched a lot of your other videos so I found this video and it makes more sense a lot of others use blocks or have you go right into the high crow instead of doing lower or easier variations and working up to the main pose
Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial ❤️. I was getting very confused lately. I have watched a few different tutorials. The basics explanation is the same everywhere but the details differ so much. And crane and crow get mix up some times. So thank you again. Namaste🙏🏻
Wa such an amazing video, really helpful ! I can now understand better why i can not hold crow pose, I was not doing it right. Thanks you so much guys 😌🙏🏻
I like how thorough you guys are. Many people need to know minute details like which part of the hands the weight should be. Surprisingly, though, you didn't mention shoulder depression (very important!).
Great tip to start with the knees outside the arms. It's still hard but more manageable as a first step. Also good to know that falling forward is common in the beginning!
FIRST. Also I just want to say you're doing an amazing job. currently on day 21 of the ignite program and I already feel super strong and amazing. Much love from India ♥️♥️
Discovered your channel some days ago. Just great how you explain and what you do. First time I managed to get the crow pose. Was my personal challenge at the moment. Thx so much. Greetings from Belgium
Your explanation is very helpful, and give me a lot of tips that I wanted to know. I’m gonna improve my crow pose with this video. Thank you very much 😊
Great video! I'm so hooked to the flow videos in your channel. Would love to see your approach to handstand-oriented training. Thank you so much for sharing as you do ❤
It's funny, but I found that I already know how to perform this pose. This happens somehow by itself. Intuitively. Although I have not tried this before
16:52 still can't get that part. My elbows refuse to reach my armpits. It's quite humerus😅. Thank you. This is an awesome exercise to implement the foundational skills that you've stressed in your other video classes. You guys are brilliant as always.
I have been practicing Crow pose for the last few days and can hold is for 10s now, this breakdown was helpful! I currently put my knees on the outside because I found putting them on my triceps was really painful on my arms. Is that normal or was I doing something wrong? Thanks again for the awesome content!
Please help me i have watched and read tons of stuff about crow poss i can do all steps until my knees slip and become unbalanced then i fall on my face. When i try to go forward my knees go out of my elbows or slip.😢
Does the knees being stacked on the elbows put pressure in the elbow bend. I have been experimenting with these poses but worry about damaging my elbows from the weight of my body.

Woohoo I was hoping you guys would do videos like this! Keep em coming 👍
Can you teach us side crow next? I can do it but very badly at the moment 🙈
next up is one legged crow, then side crow and eka pada 1 and then we go from there ✌️stay tuned!
Holy moly! This was amazing . Externally rotating the shoulders and bone stacking makes all the difference.
This is the first tutorial on crow that acually makes the distinction and is very clear on where and how to place the knees so ein großes Dankeschön!
I did my first crow today! Thank you, I will keep practicing! It's such a cool sensation to be able to do this.
Thank you for this! I have been confused about where to place my knees. The tip about bending the knees to create the flat spot is brilliant. And starting with the knees outside the elbows is such great advice. I appreciate this so much.
Thanks for explaining the difference between the two poses

Wow the rising with the core and locking in with knees helped me get this right after I couldn’t do it before I watched!!! Thanks
Brilliant I managed it for a couple of seconds. Not ready for uplevel but will practice until am ready. Thank you
Yeah I managed all 3, thanks so much Bre and Flo! I couldn’t hold them for long but feel ecstatic now!
Your video was so helpful. I could do the first crow variation in a day. Practicing further to get better. Thank you so much Gurus :)

Great tutorial guys! Sooo helpful! I feel I'm getting closer but my knees are slipping from my arms just when I'm about to lift my feet... Any advice?
It's funny, but I found that I already know how to perform this pose. This happens somehow by itself. Intuitively. Although I have not tried this before
yep that can happen very likely as you practice and understand your body better
brilliant!. thank you :)
16:52 still can't get that part. My elbows refuse to reach my armpits. It's quite humerus😅. Thank you. This is an awesome exercise to implement the foundational skills that you've stressed in your other video classes. You guys are brilliant as always.

Hello. Can you tell me the Brand of your Yogaclothes please!? Thank you
I have been practicing Crow pose for the last few days and can hold is for 10s now, this breakdown was helpful! I currently put my knees on the outside because I found putting them on my triceps was really painful on my arms. Is that normal or was I doing something wrong?
Thanks again for the awesome content!
That is normal and your arms and skin will get stronger and bruises won’t happen anymore some day.
@@BreatheAndFlow Well guess I had better suck it up and get back to it then :')
🙏Namaste🧿💝
Awwwwwwwww THAT SO CUTE!~
🙏🏽
Please help me i have watched and read tons of stuff about crow poss i can do all steps until my knees slip and become unbalanced then i fall on my face. When i try to go forward my knees go out of my elbows or slip.😢
Does the knees being stacked on the elbows put pressure in the elbow bend. I have been experimenting with these poses but worry about damaging my elbows from the weight of my body.
it's not on the elbow joint but right above it, the bottom of the triceps, as we explained
Breathe and Flow ah ok, next time I will be brave and try. Thanks for the brilliant videos
You r jst perfect.
you are too, every one is in the present moment.
❤
How do you stop getting bruises on the backs of the arms when in crow?
Doing it often and over time the body and skin will adapt and you won’t get them anymore 🙏🏽
Breathe and Flow thank you for your feedback I really appreciate it x
Am i the only who practice calisthenics and is here i want to achieve straight arm frogstand
damn that 4k! getting lost in both your eyes! haha

🙏🙏🙏
✌️
Theres nothing funny about yoga… except maybe that Crow Pose is “kakasana” - thats actually a little funny.
