I have been riding around for 2 WEEKS waiting for my friend to fix my head light. So today after watching your video I said screw it I’ll do it myself. Mission accomplished! Thank you gorgeous for this video❤️
Tara: You rock. Wish I had as much courage as you to tackle this job on my e92 m3. No way. BMW dealer, here I come to spend around $500 to have a headlight bulb replaced.
If this was just some random dude there would be 20 negative comments about what she says ~ 35 seconds into the video. I found the video helpful but can't believe how guys will overlook a gal making a trivial mistake (rightfully so) vs when a guy does the same. It's always a fun learning experience to watch people interact when you take the time.
This is the 2nd time in a month that I've had to remove the RF wheel & liner to fix simple stuff. Last week the windshield wash reservoir filter got clogged w slime and had to removed/flushed/replaced. No idea what caused stringy slime (incompatible fluids?) but its a common occurrence & was a PIA to get to.
Just a quick suggestion... before screwing/bolting everything back make sure the replacement bulbs works! Thanks for the video...will be doing that at the weekend 😣
Replaced today my halogen H7 on my E90. It was 10 $. The downside is we don't get the xenon light output. Also the 2011 models have the window in the front of the wheel where you can open it and replace the bulb. In that case you don't have to remove anything. It takes less than five minutes. I found your info useful.
I looked up some bmw DIYs and your vids came up, after watching a few it really made working on my bmw so much easier so thanks for the content keep at it!!
So I guess I won't be changing my bulb really quick before I leave. Have to do it tomorrow I guess. Yay BMW for making it necessary to remove a wheel to replace a bulb!
FYI- My 2008 E93 (convertible) does not have that removable panel on the front wheel liner and is much stiffer so I had to remove the bottom 5 screws +1 at the air duct for a total of 12 plus the bolt, to completely remove the liner.
Just want to say the Xenon light works with high voltage (85 volts up to 25000 volts on ignition). Be sure to have the lights turned off or even better - disconnect the battery
@@TVTara Did my dip lights too, 2 x as I was finding the right led that I want. Didn't bother taking out the wheel arch cover as it's pretty accessible with e90 2009. If I deal with the angel eyes soon, I will have too.
Great work there thanks alot for showing me how to replace a bulb. Just a question when you put the bulb in was it alot brighter than other side? Reason why i got a 2008 e92 335i both xenons not bright. I want to replace both bulbs to get more light?
It looks like you didn't have to completely remove the liner...or weren't able to. Do you think it would be possible to unscrew only the screws on the outer edge of the liner and pry it back to access? Good work, girl!
Help I have 2008 Bmw e93 m3 Changed driver side headlight this am Now car is dead Don’t know what to do Did not have problems with battery or alternator previously
Did the light bulb last? Because I heard to get genuine bmw bulb and not any other brand because they won’t last that long. But the bmw light bulb is $200 each
Hi Tara, i have ine question for yoy. I see you adaptive headlights, so as i have adaptives on my e92. My right xenon lens are looking too much in left and i want to correct it, so it looks forward as it should do. Where is adjustive screw for it? Notice: motor is working, and light is turning left and right as steering wheel.
@@TVTara hu, again me. I found it, and if you need this, here is where to find it. Look at end of wing next to headlight, there is one bigger hole, through that hole use imbus screwdriver (i think 8 or 10), and find it down.. use flashlight, but the light coming from engine, below wing panel to find :)
Bulb price sounds like AdvancedAuto. In case you buy stuff from there, a quick google for coupon codes usually will get you 25% off if you make your purchase online with store pickup. Maybe you already knew, I don't know. I try to buy my stuff from FCPeuro because because everything they sell has a lifetime warranty. They say everything they sell. They say no catch but I'd be curious to hear what people say.
They make it nearly impossible to change a bulb on cars these days, yet they want you to have a replacement bulbs with you in case to replace your bulb immediately it goes! Wtf
Got to love car designers.what a pain in the backside,Audi are just as awkward, you should wear long sleeves doing that.Isnt it time to trade your car in for something younger.the salt on the wheel arch liners will be rotting the car out underneath.Vorsprung Durch Technik.if you wanna get ahead drive an Audi Quattro.😀😀😀

Nooo you can do it or find someone to help you!
Finally a short video that doesn't have music all throughout it.
Doesn't it? Maybe your volume was down 😬
I know this comment is too late but thanks Tara! just bought a 2007 335i and your videos have been great to understand it.
I like the no bullshit, lack of filler, no heavy accent and blaring music to muffle the comment. +100 if I could!
Now do the left side!
Wow thanks!

The point of my videos is to get people to try to DIY. That’s it.
Great DIY! I hate having to remove all that stuff just to get at the lights
Yeah. Ugh. You loving your VMRs too?
yeah they are great!

I can't even get mine to check oil or air pressure and you're replacing bulbs and vinyl wrapping trim among everything else. Awesome awesome.
Haha, thanks!
Just a quick suggestion... before screwing/bolting everything back make sure the replacement bulbs works! Thanks for the video...will be doing that at the weekend 😣
Ah, good luck with yours!
Thank you immensely!!! It took a while to find someone with the same body type as my BMW 328xi. You're a lifesaver.
You’re very welcome!
Quick, easy and straight to the point great video
Thanks! Saved me a whole load of time trying to figure out how to get to the bulbs.
You’re welcome!
The best video I have found detailing this job, thank you for the concise explanation of the steps.
Happy to help!

Yes I'm envious of the bulb replacement through the hood!

Thanks so much!
Thanks you just saved me around $350 at Firestone
You’re welcome!
Dope channel. I love the passion you have for your 335i!
Thank you!
So I guess I won't be changing my bulb really quick before I leave. Have to do it tomorrow I guess. Yay BMW for making it necessary to remove a wheel to replace a bulb!
Haha yeah
It's not necessary, you open the bonnet and there is a compartment with a plastic cover which you remove with a flat head screwdriver.
Got my bulbs for 65 each on Amazon. Very helpful vid! Now to change my bulbs.
Awesome! Good luck!
Thanks Tara. My light just out on my 328, and your video showed me how to change it! You’re a life saver!! 😁😁
That’s great to hear! So happy I could help you!
$85 for a bulb?? I won't complain anymore about the $25 I just spent on mine. Great video and Happy New Year!
Ugh, yeah, it's ridiculous. Happy New Year!
Your videos are great! I’m gonna attempt this on my 2011 e93 m3. Thanks for the DIY . Keep it up girl 🙌🏽☺️
Thanks! Good luck with yours!
How about the headlights blinking on start up after replacing the bulb with oem?
Most of the time it’s the blast that goes first
You mean ballast? But yeah I was lucky!
Nice vid Tara, Jesus that’s an expensive bulb... whoa!
Ugh, yup.
Thank you TV Tara Saved me hours of work and money. How can I change the HIGH beam ones please.
Oh I think it’s much easier. I can’t remember right now!
@@TVTara I hope so,,,,both the High beam xenons do not work and I just wondered if you had replaced yours at sometime?

Haha that was a cool vid, always like to see something new from you. I had to 😁 at the end part....so dramtatic with you between the lights.
Hahaha!!! 😂
TVTara 😁
Awesome video, just what I was looking for can't wait to do it tomorrow. Thank you.😁
You're welcome! Good luck with yours!
Really helpful, I did manage to get it done without removing the wheel but both headlights took me about 4 hours lool :D
Ugh such a pain. Good job though!
But Tara, you make it look so easy :)
Haha! Thanks!
Wish you did all the front lights. I ordered the angel eye bulb and watched a few videos but not as good a clear as yours
Maybe next time!
Great video, straight to the point and just enough detail to DIY correctly! ThanX
You’re very welcome! Thanks for your comment!
great job, Tara....
Thank you!
Changing my sizuki kazashi headlight bulb is just as hard but not as costly for bulb.
Lucky.
Thank you for uploading this video, it is very helpful 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Happy to help!

Pretty impressive for Lady doing that👍
Oh thanks! I’ve done much harder stuff since then!

Can you do a vid for the taillights?
No because I haven’t done them yet!
Any videos on changing front turn signal bulb? Cant find it anywhere on the adaptive headlight LCI version.
Sorry I never made a video when I did it as it’s quite quick and easy. Just turn your wheel and remove a few screws and replace it.
I have a E93 not working fog lights
Hi tara thanks for doing this video i own a 07 335i n54 too do you tink you can do a video about anti-freeze ?
How to replace high beam?
Good job tara
Thanks!
Happy New Year to u Tara.
Happy New Year!

No mine matched but it is a good idea to just replace them both at the same time.
It looks like you didn't have to completely remove the liner...or weren't able to. Do you think it would be possible to unscrew only the screws on the outer edge of the liner and pry it back to access? Good work, girl!
The liner doesn’t bend much so the more screws you can remove, the easier it is.
Help
I have 2008 Bmw e93 m3
Changed driver side headlight this am
Now car is dead

I don’t know how many years it lasted as I sold the car. Sorry!
This is what i need ty so much
You’re welcome :)
Your right the price is really high. My car uses D2s and the osram cbi bulbs I got during the black friday sale cost me 94$ they were regular 110$😖😱💰
Ugh, yup it's crazy!
You have a nice day!
Thanks!
You're welcome. You have a good time!
You make it look easy lol
Haha
What front lip splitter is that
It was just a cheap one from eBay. Sorry I can’t remember right now but I did a video about it if you look through my 335i mod playlist.
Great video Tara and you are looking beautiful as always
Thank you! ☺️
Thank you great video
You’re welcome 😊
Hey Tara....how long did this take you? I'm attempting this tomorrow 😬
Oh I can’t remember. Less than an hour.

Little bit more difficult than my 07' 550i surprisingly
Ah, lucky!
Hi I got a 2006 BMW 550 I can do you tell me how do you replace a coolant
I buy it at a local store and mix half with water. Pour it in the coolant reservoir in the engine bay.

I've never heard of that store. I'm in Vancouver and believe it or not, I used a discount code. Was even more than that at regular price!!!
Thanks good job
Thanks!
And the Turn Signal?
The turn signal bulb? That’s enough easier to change in minutes. I didn’t bother making a video for it. Just turn your wheel and unscrew a few screws.
@@TVTara For Xenon. I cannot find a video about Xenon for my n55 335i 2011 e90. many thanks 4 answer

Great DiY but I refuse to spend $80 on a bulb when you can get the same or if not better threw other sources....nonetheless great vid👍
I've had bad luck with a no-name brand in the past and don't wanna have to replace this one again since it's so annoying.

Ah ok. Don't forget I was stating Canadian dollars but yes, I've used FCP Euro for other parts. Great suggestion!
