Thanks for that detailed removal with the screwdriver. I had tried the first time pushing down on it before I saw your video, couldn't budge it. Came off quick and easy after, thanks again.
Thank you so much for showing how to get that damn dust cover off!! I broke the taps on my passenger side and had to buy another. I have one more side to change, which I was completely dreading because of those taps, but now I get it!! Thx again!!
Well well we'll you WIN!! Your video HELPS!!! Thank you big time!!! I'm happier today because you show the core t way of getting the bulb cover off!!!!!!! YAY!!! 🎉🎉🎉😂😂❤❤😅😊😅😊😅😮😮😮😂😂❤❤
Question, my drivers side low beam works fine for about 30 minutes of driving and then goes out, I let the car sit overnight works fine and same thing.. does this sound like bulb or ballast issue?? Thanks in advance.
I have found it unnecessary to remove the wheel and the inner-fender liner to replace the bulb - just turn the wheel, full-lock, into the center of the car to clear the panel. To access the tabs for the inner plastic shield, you can easily access those from inside the engine bay with a stubbie screwdriver. The hardest part was the wire retainer - if it has been 'on' awhile, it will not easily release. With a few minutes and patience, it can be worked loose.
Extreme DIY thanks my car is so low and I live on a hill so basically anything I try when jacking the car jus doesnt seem safe and anytime I need to do work underneath I have to bring it o my friends shop after hours to use his lift

Dude That Screw driver thing is life changing. I broke my passenger side one and had to get a new cover from dealer FML. Thanks so much!
Ha ha - thanks man! Glad I could help make the job easier!
Great closeup of those clips!

That was impossible to open by hand. Thank you very much for sharing your technique. Your video is amazing.
You saved me couple hundred bucks. Great video.
After watching this, I used a small flat precision screwdriver to pry open those three clips on the cover. Thanks so much!
I’m so confused why mine looks different from ever single video on the planet. Finally yours is the same.
Excellent video and explanation
Thanks! 😊
Great lighting
Great, helpful overview to prepare for the actual thing :)
I don't know you sir but I now love you

Thanks for sharing this video. Extremely helpful. You made this very easy.
Your welcome! Glad to help!
I have a 2007 335i E93 and it doesn't have these access panels in the fender wells. Any idea how I would change mine?
This is for low and high beam. It’s a bi-xenon projector. Not just low beam.
Thank you been looking for a video that would explain this been wondering if they were two different bulbs
Do you need to remove the battery when changing the xenon bulbs?
Very good demonstration! The Xeon headlight is very difficult replacing by a non-mechanics person. I would not touch it.

True you can but it’s always nice to have more room when working
what about the passenger side head light bulbs??
Same as this side...
Does not come off the connection
Is it possible without taking tire off
I don't believe so.

I changed my bulb and still does not work any ideas why?
Daniel De La Mora it's probably the ballast.
