06-06-2023 today I came to Laos 🇱🇦 for a day and the very first a immigration officer lady was helped me lot of on her duty. So from that moment I had noticed that Laos 🇱🇦 people are very kind and friendly. But I didn’t see Cambodia 🇰🇭 people are helpful, Etc.

Will you please share locations/names of the restaurants you went to? I live here in PP. I have had difficulty finding khmer food that I like. Everything you tried looks good.
Unfortunately this was a secret food tour where the idea is that we are not given a list/not told the restaurant names…part of the agreement of going on this tour is that the venues all stay very local, so they don’t end up with lots of tourists in them etc. It was a tour with Lost Plate Food Tours, and was really good value, so if you live there I guess you could do the tour and hopefully find some favourites to go back to. (I’m sure the local guides would have lots of other good recommendations too!)
