I discovered Crockett & Jones yesterday by chance, when researching a good alternative to a pair of Santoni suede tassel loafers that I am in love with and cost too much. The Crockett & Jones I like are the ones you are showing in your video, they are gorgeous!!
I think you are right: there is a sweet spot between £300 - £450/500. I'm very interested in Carmina, TLB Mallorca and Carlos Santos....I have only one pair of Crockett and Jones - but the quality is there to behold. If I had the money, I;d go TLB or Carlos Santos. Thanks for you content. Anthony
Hey Anthony! I agree! Berwick is also a decent budget company it seems. The only reason I didn’t showcase the other brands is because I don’t have loafers from them! The suede on the santos tassels was incredibly soft, I was surprised.
@@MisiuAcademy I've got a pair of Berwick 1707 wing tip brogues - leather is not too bad; haven't tried their suede. I have, however, a pair of suede cap toe oxfords from Meermin. I would like a suede loafer so I'm looking around. I appreciate your comment. Best wishes. Tony
Made To Order - TLB Mallorca -- Main Collection -- Whatever upper materials you want e.g. Suede or Calf -- Double Leather JR Sole Lower -- Add Toe Taps. About $475 and will hold up well due to the double JR out-sole with toe taps. From TLB's customer service, the resoling of JR is 90 euros or around $110.
Hello, I’m not sure if what you are writing means you consider them really good for this price point or you consider making some? I have had the artista Adelaide 107 and it was a good shoe. I haven’t tried their loafers!
Great video Kostas. I totally agree that over $500 I just don't find the value. There are so many amazing shoes in the $300-$400 range I just can't justify going higher unless looking for a more exotic leather like Shell Cordovan.
Amazing timely information as I was just looking at the Carlos Santos loafers. To be my firs tapir of loafer ever and I think I'm better off with an 8 rather than a 8.5. Also one of the best bad jokes yet.
There are many cool brands that are better than santoni and cost less! These two are just a few of them. At the end fit and then aesthetics are more important for you!
@@MisiuAcademy Could you recommend some classic penny loafers? They’re not that easy to find if your looking for something decent with a reasonable price tag. Say 300 to 400€ max. Thx in advance
I find the santos to be great value. Tlb Mallorca has some nice loafers too! Carmina is possibly in the price range. I would look at also caulaincourt even if it’s blake stitched for something unlined or lightweight!

I consider CJ higher quality and value than Santoni! They are great shoes!
@@MisiuAcademy The price has increased a little since you made the video,I am buying them now though.
Thank you!
Yes unfortunately the original price was too low and miscalculated! Still a great deal
Going to order some burgundy tassels from TLB Mallorca. Thanks for the tip-off, Kostas!
Enjoy!

Thank you Julian! Coming soon!

Everything has their use and merit but for the average individual or the person starting their journey the value is significantly less!!
I just received my Carlos Santos boots and they are perfect! I could not find a single defect.
Thank you Pedro! Glad you like them!
@@MisiuAcademy You're welcome!
Magnanni are great, just found Carlos Santos are great so are Crockett and Jones .What do you think of Edward Green ,thanks 👍❤️🏴
Hi Charles, I think magnanni are very overpriced to be honest.edward green are solid shoes, but I prefer something more handmade at those prices.
@@MisiuAcademy Thanks, I think I’ll go with Carlos Santos ❤️👍🏴
@charleslyall4911 I’ll be happy to help you with sizing, I got a 20% off promotion right now. Feel free to email me at info@thenobleshoe.com
@@MisiuAcademy would you say Carlos Santos are very good, can you let me know any other brands that are good pls
@charleslyall4911 for the price and 20% off they are hard to beat around 300-500.

Thanks Michael! I recommend this too!
You know the Dad Joke worked correctly when both yourself and the other person feel embarrassed. 😆
Highlight of my videos!
NOBLE SHOEEE BAABYYYYYY
❤️ thanks for watching Johnny!
how it fits and comfort???
Very good!
Found Santonis for 600 $ but not in my size. Cant even get them for full price on their site. Let's see if some of those here will appeal to me.

May I ask how long is your feet in cm?
Hello if I remember right my feet are around 27.3 cm or so. But my foot is a little special so it sits quite at the front of the toe box
