I've had the desert boots since at least 2017 and wear them constantly. I've had them re-soled once. The shoe shop guy was blown away by the quality. "You don't see shoes like these anymore!" I still get compliments on them, too.
I love that y’all are able to speak style but also care so much about function. It’s not as common as it should be for men to care about form as much as they care about function.
Finally showing Astorflex some well deserved love, great video Ben. I have 2 pair of Astorflex, the Bitflex Chelsea in the the tan smooth leather and a pair of (discontinued, sadly) Contflex. They are in-cred-ible. Extremely well made, super comfortable and a compliment beast. Nearly every time I wear the Chelsea I get compliments on them. More comfortable every time I wear them....cannot recommend the brand enough. Get up and get yourself a pair....you will NOT be disappointed!!

Last month I bought the Greenflex, last week I got the Driftflex, now I'm getting tempted by the Patnoflex. They really are a great brand, I only found out about them this year. I also love that they are a family owned business and they are still made in Italy at a reasonable price

Hi, is it advisable to size down on all Astorflex silhouettes or are there models that run true to size?
Astorflex uses a European sizing system which we’ve converted to American sizes. Typically we recommend sizing down if you are between sizes. That being said, any sizing information specific to the model will be shown on the product page under the sizing tab, down below the "Add to cart" button.
Is that suede on the outside of the Dartflex? What's the best way to care for it?
I just got these and yes, it's suede. I'm no expert, but I always try to avoid getting them wet, and a good suede brush will help keep them clean and looking good. There is also some suede waterproofing spray you can use. But I would atill always try to avoid getting suede wet.

In real the material is a roughout, not a normal suede, but the most precious one and the softest. It is used unlined as the fullgrain part of the leather is inside close to your skin.
What's the difference between the older greenflex and the newer brownflex?
The Brownflex is on an updated last for an overall better fit. That is the biggest difference, it has the same details, fully veg tan leather lined, two sets of laces, natural crepe. The new shape is a little more stylish and in line with a classic chukka shape with a more tapered toe versus the older more rounded Greenflex.
