The problem with batreps is that they actually require you to pay attention and watch the video, in most cases. So it’s not really something you can play while you’re painting or building models. So a more condensed batrep is easier to find time to actually watch.
Sure painted would be nice but who had the time for that? The game is still only out for a few weeks. I don't care if you play with cardboard popups. I'm enjoying the content!
In the case of that awkward charge with the demis into the black orcs, models in the fighting rank but not in base to base contact make just 1 attack. How did you guys play that? One attack from the knight? one from the demi? one from the knight and one from the demi each? Ive heard people arguing about this.
I think I’m going to suggest house ruling the charge rules to make it a little bit more rational. Measure furthest model of the charging unit to the closest model of the target unit and if the charge is successful, just slide the chargers in to maximize the number of models in base contact.
I really like these short form battle reports. They’re Great when I don’t have 3 hours to watch a whole stream.
Beautifully painted 😍 which greys did you use?
All the greys! 3 colors and based 😋
Dr. Pepper? I see we have a man of taste.
This video is a little different format than other battle reports. Let Squarehammer know what you think of it!

I thought FBIGO stopped an inch away from any other unit? Not pop through
Love this thanks guys :)

Going off memory here, but I think we played it that the knight and mount had 1 attach each.

That demigryph charge was very weird. Even with the rules as written, that was just weird.
@@skipgiblets It was! Even if I got max charge range I really wouldn't have gotten to truly maximize!
Would be good if you filmed more of the turns next time
Will get back to that once we get more of the rules down. Currently there's so much time taken looking up rules and stats, it's crazy
@@squarehammer9349oh yeah no worries, meant to say awesome battle too
